"She's coming too."

Seth looked down at the girl in the large bed. "Easy, don't try to get up." He said, placing a hand on her bare shoulder. "You've been ill, but you'll be fine soon."

Next to him Raziel had his arms crossed, observing the both of them. The patriarch shook his head, long dark hair falling over his face. "I still say this is too risky. I can't believe I let you talk me into this."

Seth, his own black hair tied back in a ponytail, looked back at his sire. "What other choice is there?"

Raziel just sighed. "I know, but to actually go through with it..." He paused, his dark green eyes on the girl

[Terra]

"The room is spinning. And who in the Nine Circles are you...?" Rinna asked dizzily, groaning quietly

"I am your sire young lady." The man said. "You may call me Seth. As for your name...?" He trailed off.

"She may not remember." Raziel said. "Her...illness will have affected her mind."

[Terra]

"My name..." The girl repeated, rubbing her forehead as she thought. "It's Rinna... I think..." She added, after thinking a moment

Seth handed her a glass filled with a red liquid. "Drink this, it will help you recover." He said. "You must drink blood or you will die."

[Terra]

Rinna sat up slowly, looking at the glass. "Th-That's gross..." She said, but something in her made her put it to her mouth. For some reason, the liquid enticed her, and she quickly drank it. "Nnhh... that was good..."

[Hrtofdrkns]

Seth called for a maid. A pale human appeared with some clothes for the girl, then quickly left

"You should stay in bed for now." He said, handing her the clothes. "We'll leave you to your privacy."

Raziel and Seth left the room, closing the door behind them.

"Don't worry." Seth began, unaware that the girl could still hear. "Her senses are still dulled. She cannot hear us."

"Should Kain find out about this I will be forced to kill you and her." Raziel said. "You understand of course."

"Just because you are afraid of Kain..." Seth was suddenly cut off by his patriarch's hand on his neck, lifting him from the ground with ease.

"I fear nothing!" Raziel hissed. "You forget your place child!"

[Terra]

Rinna blinked as she dressed. She rubbed her mouth a bit and looked toward the door. "Who are they talking about... why would they want to kill me?" She muttered to herself, inching closer to the door.

[Hrtofdrkns]

"Forgive me master!" Seth choked out, pulling on his master's hand. Raziel let him go, looking over at Rinna peeking through the door.

"Child, you are lucky I must be going." Raziel said. He turned to the window and removed his cloak, revealing a folded pair of bat-like wings at least twelve feet long when fully extended. He jumped from the nearby window and swooped up towards the night sky.

[Terra]

Rinna watched as Raziel jumped out the window, shuddering a bit in what she assumed was fear.
