Milly was running in the fields in the rainy stormy night looking for cover. She saw that there was a barn with its door open as she ran into the barn and shook herself to get some water off her.

Milly ducked and placed her hands over her head with her backside in the air due the lightning and whimpered a little bit. She also shivered a bit because she was cold and gave a cute little sneeze.

Adam Wright was walking through the fields of his farm, feeling the rain pour down upon him. The young man had spent a good hour or so being sure that the storm wouldn't destroy anything and was ready to head back in thr house. However, just then something caught his eye from the barn door as he saw a small ginger tail swish back and forth. Out of curiosity, he slowly approached the barn and looked inside, spotting the little kitten, with her head to the ground and her bottom in the air. Chuckling a little, he knelt down and gave the childs upturned bum a few affectionate pats. "Hello there" he said softly, "are you alright?".

She jumped up and ran to hide behind a pole as she heard the man and as he patted her. "Scawy" she muttered a bit as her tail wrapped around her waist. As then she sneezed again. "I'm sowwy, i can leave" she said looking from behind the pole and blinked cutely a bit.

Adam smiled as he saw the little cub run to hide behind a pole, sitting on the barn floor and looking at her with kind eyes. "Hey now" he said softly, "you don't need to leave, you must be freezing". He then gently patted his lap, continuing to smile at the cub, "come over here" he said softly, "let's get a better look at you".

She hesitated and slowly approached the man with a thumb in her mouth as she chewed it slightly. She would sneeze again and shivered. "C-Cold" she stuttered.

Adam could now see the childs orange fur much easier now, noticing how she shivered as she stood in front of him, without a single shred of clothing. Reaching up to a post, he grabbed a towel and placed it in his lap, patting her gently. "Come to me" he said gently, "let's get you nice and dry".

Gently, he reached forward and lifted her up sitting her down in his lap. He then began to dry her off with the towel, being sure not to miss a single part of her fur.

She would be seen shaking as she was still cold but also nervous about the man. She closed her eyes as she dried her with the towel and after he was done her fur was sticking up all over the place like a big puff ball. She slightly giggled "f-fuzzy"

Adam laughed a little, stroking her fur back down into place and giving her ears a gentle scratch. Once she was back to herself, he stood up and lifted her into his arms, walking out of the barn towards the farmhouse with the small cub shivering in his arms.
