Any Other Smokers here?

Just curious as to if anyone else here smokes cigarettes.

Nah, been smokefree for over a year now, I don't drink. smoke or take illegal drugs...but, yippee, my spanking interest/spanko..makes up what Ime missing out on...

Smoking's never really been appealing to me, but growing up in a family of smokers. sometimes the smell makes me nostalgic. Mind you, I don't walk into a smoke cloud, breathe deep and say "That's the stuff!"

I just get a mental wave everytime the smell brushes past my nose. Kind of like the smell of coffee. My mom used to drink it all the time, but I don't. So when I smell it I always end up reminiscing.

sounds like you were lucky.. granted starting is a decision, but when you grow up around chain smokers along with all your friends smoking you eventually end up thinking "what the hell, everyone else is doing it"... tho in my case l started in my early teens.. lm now in my early 30s =_=

Smoking is the hardest drug to beat, being in my 50s and starting when smoking was popular, struggling for years to beat it, now Ilook at it as a great acheivement.

I grew up in a family of smokers myself. No excuse of course, but as they say if you grow up around smokers you are more likely to become a smoker yourself.

I think it was just growing up everyone told me not to do it, they wish they never started, it was expensive, etc, etc. But I thought that the act of smoking, breathing things into your lungs, seemed kind of creepy. I think that's why I never started it. My friends that did smoke never really pressured me into it either though so that probably helps too. So I suppose I'm one of those people who don't smoke but don't mind being around people who smoke because of the smell or health concerns, etc. In fact being around smokers kind of makes me feel comfortable because it was the normal enviroment for me growing up.

its a common assumption lol, however look up an anime called Eureka 7 (first series) then look at the characters and youll have an idea where l got my name from l just so happened to be watching it at the time the site was created and decided for a nick change
