Thomas O'Malley stumbled carelessly on top of the steel fence, tipping over to the right and then to the left, hiccuping. "Everybody wants to be *hic* a cat...*hic*" He sang as he jumped down on the grass, moving slowly towards the cat flap. "...because the cat's *hic* the only cat *hic* who knows where it's *hic* at." He continued singing as he entered inside the mansion. He drunk and wanted to finds a soft place where to sleep. "oh yeah, the kids are asleep...I better be quiet." He told himself before walking past the living room where the kits were sleeping in their basked. Duchess usually slept with them.

The ginger cat didn't want to bother them so he decided to head to the kitchen and wash his face a little before falling asleep somewhere. Once in the kitchen, the drunk tomcat climbed on the counter, but did accidentally drop a set of kitchen utensils which made a loud shuddering sound. Thomas didn't bother with that and just walked to the sink, turning the tap and pushed his face in to wet it a little. "Ugh...I have no idea where Scatcat get's the booze..." He said to himself and rubbed his face.

However, even though the sound did not reach upstairs, where the owner lived, it did reach the kits in the living room which made them jump up a little. "Mamma? T-there is someone in the kitchen..." One of the kittens said, looking frightened.

Duchess eyes narrowed in alarm. " Stay right here, sweetheart. I will go and see what is going on." The white feline carefully made her way towards the Kitchen and as she got closer she heard mumbling. Once she pushed open the door her body turned stiff with shock. " Thomas?"

Thomas turned his head over to look at the source of that sweet sound. He noticed Duchess and gave a light laugh. "Oh, Heh, hey gorgeous." He said with a sleazy drunk smile, jumping down with a bit of stumble as he approached her. The scent of alcohol was very strong. "Shouldn't you be sleeping right now?" He asked, leaning in to give her a kiss on the lips.

Thomas running off to party has become more frequent these past few weeks. After the initial adventure they had together, it became rather stale for Thomas, so he began sneaking off, usually getting back before anyone would notice, but now, he's coming out with a bang.

" What has gotten in to you?" Duchess said in a sad tone and turned away as her drunken lover attempted to kiss her. " Do you not know what time of night it is?!" she said to him, anger seeping up in her voice.

Thomas blinked at his failed attempt to kiss her, but he was too drunk to take it too seriously. "Passion, my dear...*hic*" He said and pressed his paw against her chestfur, rubbing it. "And I know what time of night it is. The time of *hic* night where your *hic* eyes shine the brightest." He said, trying to seduce his lover.

The kits were getting nervous about letting mamma go alone to fend off against the stranger, so they took a deep breath and began sneaking over towards the kitchen door, poking their heads out to see if mom was in any kind of danger. They wiggled their noses at the stench. "boy, Mr O'Mally smells bad tonight..." Mairie whispered. "shh...listen" Toulouse whispered.

Duchess glared at her lover and slowly peeled his paw off her chest. " How...how could you do this?" she asked in a hurt tone of voice. " What would the children think if they saw you in this state?"

Looked slightly confused at Duchess' hurt reaction and blinked a few times. "I was just having some fun with the boys...nothing to fuss over." He said, said as his eyes focused on her. "You know, just me and the gang, having a night out." he tried to explain himself, then tried to wrap his foreleg around her shoulders to comfort her. "How about we go to bed, alright?" He offered.

Duchess glared at him and undid his hold around her shoulder. " No...I am very dissapointed in you, dear." she said in a cold voice," I will og back to the children, you can sleep here in the kitchen... we will discuss your behavior in the morning." she added with a hint of anger in her voice and went back to the kits.

Thomas was still rather confused by Duchess' behavior, but he still had enough decent mind to stay away from Duchess tonight. He hiccuped again and climbed on the padded kitchen chair and curled up around it. Without saying much he closed his eyes and quickly fell asleep, snoring loudly.

When the kits saw their mom moved back toward the door, they quickly scurried back to their basket. Duchess probably noticed the white tail slipping behind the corner, however, when she gets to the living room, she will see that the kits were in the basket, acting like they are sleeping.

Duchess knew that her children were watching her argument with Thomas and that they were faking their sleep. " Children...og back to sleep, your father is ok...he is just sleeping in the kitchen." she said in a soft, comforting voice, even though she was livid with her lover. She drifted off to a dreamless night and waited for morning to arrive.
