It is another typical day at the Dragon school in the center of the community. Though each individual dragon color has their own schooling approach, there is only one school, which is located in the Prism dragon village, and is run by the Authority Council, which it made up of one representative from each color

The current head of the council, a golden dragoness, is also the current headmistress of the school. And the others on the council are the teachers

Ryuu, a pearl dragon, was in her anthro form trying to fly to school as fast as she could. She had been up late last night trying to catch up on missed homework assignments and hadn't realized how late it was till she woke up the next day at 8:50.
"Oh my god I'm so fucking dead..." she groaned.

Near the entrance to the school, the headmistress, a gold dragon, was taking note of the little dragonets as they came in for their daily lessons

Soon, all but one were accounted for. She looks skyward, using her well-practiced telepathic abilities to sense the one little straggler

"S-Sorry! Sorry I'm not late am I?" she panted.

The gold dragoness quickly went to check the young dragonet over

"Unfortunately, you are" she said in a calm, but not stern voice "Come with me. We need to talk about this" she said, helping the young one to stand, and then motioning for her to follow into the school

Ryuu groaned at her misfortune, it seemed that nothing ever went her way at all!
"C'mon give me a break! I was only late because I was up late studying and being a good student!"

"That at least is a good thing" the headmistress said "But I am still concerned, as this is not the first time this has happened. I know others end up doing the same thing, but you in particular...... Well.... Lest just say I speak for the whole Council when I say...we're worried about you. This is the 5th time this turn you've been late"

Ryuu blushed deeply and kept her head down low so she wouldn't have to look at the headmistress or anyone else.
"I...I know that its been bad and everything but I really do mean no harm, I'm just so busy and stuff..." she grumbled.

"Normally, I'd be at the point of having to expel you" the gold dragon said "But I really don't want to have to do that" she said as they reached her office "We need to find an easier approach to this for you. I know you are capable of better"

Ryuu growled a bit as she clenched her claws tightly, she had no idea what she been through or what she has to do just to survive!
"Of course ma'am!" she spit out harshly. " I can always do better can't I?"
