It was a no-class day for her, so she could sleep in if she wanted to. But today, that was hardly likely. In yesterday's class, she had gotten back a test that she knew she did poorly on

Most of hte stdents would be sending progress reports to thier parents at this point in hte year. But this girl, an 11 year old by the name of Alison Rosche (RO-SHAY), did not want to report failure to her parents. She knew how they'd react

A few hours later, she was lazily lounging at the base of a large tree on campus. A paper that had gotten loose form the outdoor buliton board, ended up stirring her by landing right in her face. She bolted upright and looked at the paper, making to crumple it up, before she noticed sometihng htat caught her eye. She un folded the paper and read it. It was an advertisement for a councilor on campus who can help struggling students.

She got up and returned to her dorm room, grabbing her cell and dialing hte number on the flyer. She already knew she needed help with doing hte work the school assigned. There were piles of unfinished work all over her room. If she could get this councilor person to help her, she could then get back to the fun stuff she liked to so, including being allowed back to participating in the school's swim meets, as she was a powerful swimmer. But with her grade so low, she could only take part in practice

She paced back and forth as she waited for the line to pick up
