The sun was out, it was a nice day as the Ship pulled into the dock. The small passenger ship was loaded with about 10 kids. from around age 8 to 16. Standing on the docks. waiting for them were a number of people. one of them was Sam.

Sam was a tall, Darkish skinned man, he was well built, clean shaven and had a kind smile. his brown hair was complemented by his brown eyes, he was about 28, and he was a History teacher.

Today he was being assigned a student to mentor. The U.S School of Discipline had a high standard, the school was built to counter the sheer number of child/teen crimes of minor nature.

On board of the ship was Jennifer, a 16 year old girl with black hair and green eyes. She had a gothic look and a few piercings, one on her lip and one on her eyebrow. She just looked like the cliché rebellous teenager and she was. That she came here was just a mistake in her eyes, but it wasn't.

The government wasn't happy with how far she already went as they came to pick her up. She was just about to try out her next reckless idea as they found her. So now she was here...finally. She heard a lot of this place already, but never thought that they would be able to drag her here.

Walking down and into the direction of the man that seemed to be in charge, she just gave him a cheeky grin. "Well hello there Mr. Are you in charge of these monkeys?", she asked, meaning the four security men that surrounded the small group.

"So your Jennifer? No I'm not in charge of this group. Just you." he said in a sarcastic voice "I'm Sam. Nice to meet you." he said offering his hand to shake.

Jennifer looked at the man's hand as if it was something disgusting. Then, she looked him over. "Oh...well. Whatever. I need a smoke", she answered and took out some cigarettes as well as a lighter. She soon started smoking. "Aaaaaah...that is muuuch better...", she said and smiled satsfied.

"Now, how long do I have to stay here?", she wanted to know between two drags.

Sam sighed. "Now how did you get those abord the boat?" he asked. "seems we'll have to do this the hard way." he said. and grabbed her hand, knocking the pack out of her hand and into the water. "Rule number 1. No Smokeing. Drugs or anything elce like that! your a minor! and your going to be kept to those rules!" he said. as he grabbed the lit one and tossed it into the water as well.

Jennifer looked at the man surprised and pissed. "Are you dumb you idiot?!", she yelled angrily. Really, what was he thinking?! Well, she would be able to get new ones somehow, but it wasn't his concern if she was smoking or not!
"You are not my father and not anybody who could tell me what I have to do, understand?! You are just a pain in the ass so far, so piss off and let me go!", she continued, not happy with the whole situtation, so to speak.

"Let me make one thing clear young lady. This isn't the outside world. Here you'll play by the rules. and those rules say no smokeing." Sam said and dragged her to a nearby bench.

"Oh, now you call me 'young lady'!", Jennifer answered derisively and started chuckling amused. "Do you really think that I will stop doing things just because you say it? Well if you think so, then you are wrong! I have no reason to do as you say!", she made clear angrily, and felt that she got dragged to a nearby bench.
"What are you doing? Shall we sit down and watch the water and the ships or what?", she asked amused and sarcastically.

"I'd prefer that." Sam said and gestured. "lets talk about what goes on here. This isn't the outside world. It's a lot like it. But not the same. For one, There wont be any drugs, cigarettes ect. so you might as well get used to that now unless you want to end up spanked a lot more."

Jennifer looked at the man skeptically as he told her about the new rules that she would need to follow. As she heard the word 'spanked', she glared up at him surprised. "Are you serious? Spankings? You spank people ? I mean, nobody is here because he stole some cookies or something like that, and all you've got is a spanking? Seriously? Seriously?!", she wanted to know and started laughing out loud. "Oh my god, this is so funny hahahahahahahaha!!!", she laughed amused.
