The Roomate from Heaven (or hell)

James Jones came back from morning class, heading to his room that he shared with his roommate. Seeing his roommate not there, he went in, and forgetting to shut the door fully, climbed into his bed instantly falling asleep for a nap.

He was a blond, a dirty blond. His hair was neck length, and he had blue eyes. He was prone to wearing blue shirts and brown shorts, and usually had a smile. He was the forgetful type, almost always forgetting to shut and lock the door. The room had already been robbed three times, thankfully the thieves not taking anything important.

The roommate in question was none other than twenty-two year old, Mason Walker. Mason was a tall, handsome young man, standing at a full six foot four with tan skin, short brown hair and green eyes. Thanks to daily cardio workouts, he was lean and toned as well. Mason, unlike most men his age, cared about his appearance very much. So he did not only take care of his body, but also what he wore. He often heard whispered conversations, mainly from girls, wondering if he was gay. He did not know what to think of these comments, because though he had nothing against homosexual people, he also didn't think he was one either. He never felt attracted to another male at least. But then again, none of the females on campus caught his fancy either, but he often just topped it off to being busy with his studies.

Today, however, none of that was on Mason's mind as he made his way back to the apartment he shared with his friend, James Jones. It was now two in the afternoon, and Mason had just finished all his classes for the day. Thankfully today was one of his shorter days, so he was looking forward to going back to his room for a well sought after nap. Then maybe he would go for a run later. It would be nice to get out of these blue jeans and red polo shirt he was wearing, either way.

The man was just contemplating if he wanted a small snack as well, when he walked up to his apartment, pulled out his keys... then paused with horror.

The door was open!

Okay, maybe that was a bit of an exaggeration, seeing as it was only open by a crack. Mason was not comforted by this thought either way, especially remembering how he and James have been robbed from several times this year.

James...

The thought of his younger roommate stopped him from reaching inside his right pocket to fish out his phone. James tended to be the forgetful type, especially when it came to making sure their front door was closed and locked. Maybe they were lucky this time, though, and no burglars were here. The last thing Mason wanted was to call the police only to find that the place had no one in it, or that it had not been robbed. The latter had happened before, and Mason definitely did not want a repeat experience.

So, taking a deep breath, the twenty-two year old slowly pushed the door open, careful not to make a sound as he stepped inside and shut the door behind him. The apartment was not that big in size, so it did not take long for Mason to search every area only to find everything in its place, and no one here. Thus, it was five minutes later that a slightly irritated man found himself walking over to James's room, the one he saved for last. A quick look inside showed him there was no robbers.

Only his roommate, in the middle of taking a nap.

All the worry that Mason felt earlier now turned into anger and frustration as he decided that his roommate had slept for long enough.

"James Jones! Wake up this instant!" he called out impatiently. It was time to get to the bottom of this.

(Do you mind if instead of an appartment, they live in the dorms? I sorta like the idea that James has to keep quiet when he's getting spanked.)

James's thin ninteen year old body, slowly blinked awake, turning to face his now angry roommate. "Wha'da want," He asked, yawning gently. He looked at the clock, "And I just gotten to sleep too," He said with a frown, not knowing why his roommate was so mad. Truthfully, he had always found his roommate to be rather hot when he got mad, which admitly was one of the reasons he sometimes did things to set him off. James was gay, he had always known it, he just didn't make a big deal about it.

(Dorms it is.)

"Oh, I was so looking forward to taking a nap myself," Mason nearly snarled at James, though forced himself to take a deep breath to calm down before continuing. "But after the adrenaline rush I just had, I doubt I'll get to have that luxury anymore. Why? Because I just spent the last five minutes searching our apartment, making sure it was safe... because someone forgot to close the front door, again!"

Mason was glaring sharply at James, rather annoyed with the nineteen year old at this very moment. James was a good friend, and a fun person to hang around and chat with from time to time, but Mason was starting to get sick of James's forgetfulness and often lazy attitude. So sick, in fact, that it was very tempting to call up the housing office and demand to be moved into a new dorm. Very tempting indeed.

James turned red hearing this. "Sorry," He said embarrased. "I thought I had closed it. But, at least nothing happened, this time," He mumbled. "Look, um, why don't you just take a nap now, I have to go get to class anyway," He said blushing as he looked at the clock. He wasn't sure what to say to Mason, not wanting to offend him.

"You thought you had closed it..."

Mason was truly pissed now, fists clenched by his sides and his eyes darkening with the anger he felt towards the young man in front of him. Of all the things James could have said...

"That's the same excuse I keep hearing, every single damn time!" Mason seethed. He usually was one not to curse, but he was too mad to be thinking straight right now. "And every time, I either have to worry about our place having been robbed... or it has been robbed! I just don't get you, James! How can someone just thought they had closed the door!?"

Mason needed to calm down, but every time he looked at the man that had just caused him increased worry just moments ago, his anger continued to rise. Glancing rather pointedly at the clock on the wall, he did indeed see that the younger man had to go to class soon. Being roommates, they knew both of their schedules pretty well after the first week.

"I need to cool off," Mason said, still staring at the clock to avoid looking at the man he was furious with. "So I'm going for a run. You go to class, do whatever, but I expect you to be back here no more than ten minutes after your class time ends. We need to talk, and I will not tolerate you being tardy."

Without even waiting for a response, Mason turned and stormed out of the room, across the hall, and to his own room, slamming and locking the door behind him before roughly taking off his clothes to get ready for his run.

James just rolled his eyes, "Such a temper on that one," He thought, grinning a little. He got his books for his next class and packed his bags, thinking about Mason, and feeling a little guilty. He blushed, but got up and went out the door, making sure to shut it this time.

He went to class, but had trouble paying attention, his mind returning to his problems with his roommate. He wasn't sure what to do, but something had to be done between them.

Something had to be done indeed.

Shortly after his roommate had left for class, Mason, re-dressed in dark blue jogging pants and a gray t-shirt, went out for his stress-reducing run. It took three laps around the campus's walking trail before the twenty-two year old was as calm as he usually was. It usually did not take much to make Mason mad, but this had been one of those occasions where enough was enough in his mind, and he was determined to prove that to James upon his return from class. Therefore, with thirty minutes to spare before he expected his roommate to be back, Mason walked back into the apartment, sweaty but with a new purpose.

First, the man took a quick, refreshing shower and changed back into the clothes he was originally wearing that way. Then, sitting in front of his computer, he pulled up the housing management's website, downloaded and printed the application he needed, then filled out the sections he needed to fill out according to his needs. Lastly, with the application in hand, he walked back out to the main living area, grabbed a couple bottles of water from the refrigerator, and sat down on the couch in the living room, waiting patiently for James's return.

"You better not be late, mister," Mason thought out lout quietly, glancing at his wristwatch and taking a swallow of water, ready to put his plan into action.

At exactly ten minutes after class ended, James walked into the room, seeing Mason waiting for him. Before he said anything, he turned and shut the door behind himself, locking it. "Hey Mason, told you I'd be there in time," He said with a grin, pointing at his watch, which was 3 minutes slow.

Ten minutes came and went, with no sign of James. Thus, when the younger man finally made his appearance three minutes later, by Mason's watch, Mason was not very pleased, and it showed on his face as he gazed sternly at the boy.

"Well, at least you remembered to close and lock the door, otherwise I would think you are not taking this conversation seriously," Mason spoke in a firm tone before nodding at the chair across from him. "So, for the time being I will ignore your tardiness. Come, sit down. I already got a water out for you, in case you are thirsty. We need to talk."
