Aaron was now the owner and caretaker of the house he lived in. Though he had barely turned 18, he still had the rights to it, luckily for his brother. His brother was still a middle school student, and it was now up to Aaron to raise him, feed him, monitor him, and of course, punish him. Their father spankings as punishment, so he made sure his little brother knew what would happen should be misbehave.

Despite what happened to their parents Levi or Lev as he liked was a lively boy. He liked to claim trouble always came for him, not the other way around. Right now the twelve year old was keeping out of trouble as he wondered a bit around the house trying to stage off his slight boredom and find something to do.

Aaron learned to cook some simple dishes from his late mother. He was making some soup with beef, potatoes, and some vegetables. It was coming along nicely. "Levi? Get ready for lunch!" He called, sprinkling grated cheese on top of Levi's soup bowl.

Levi was staring outside at the backyard debating if going out would be worth his while at the moment when he heard his big brothers call, “Food!” Came his voice flowing form the other room. Food was something the twelve year old could get behind seeming to have one heck of an increasing appetite lately, “It smells good BB (Big Brother).” The grinning preteen stated as he plopped down at the table.

Aaron grinned at his little brother's antics. He thought it nice to see his brother happy considering what that had to deal with at the time. "Here you go." He said, putting Levi's bowl in front of him. He sat across from him, placing his bowl on the table as well. "Enjoy." He said, mixing the contents of his soup together.

Levi was a pretty okay with life if there was something to do, even in the hard times. As Arron placed the soup down eyes surveyed it with a quality that said I am going to eat you. Picking up his sppon, he did just that inhaling two spoonfuls before even thinking about chewing it up,

"Oooho, yessss this is so good." As the flavors popped and danced in his mouth.

Aaron smiled. "Glad you enjoy it." He ate the exact opposite way. Slowly to savor the flavor. His mid-sized, straight, raven hair covered his eyes from the sides when he leaned down to take a spoonful.

Levi nodded his head, "Mmmhmm." He hummed since his mouth was full and he was chewing. As the brothers differed in eating they differed in hair styles. Levi sported a mop of curly blond hair.

"Sooo, what ya doing today?" The kid asked in curiosity since he had been bored and the thing that was occupying him was half gone.

Aaron soon finished his soup as well, taking both bowls and placing them in the sink. "Ahat am I doing today? Umm...mostly working around the house." He replied, ruffling his hair. "Right now, though, I need to pay some bills. I'll be back soon. Don't sneak any sweets. You know how I feel about that." He said, getting ready to leave. "Don't go outside either. You don't need to bug Miles, he's sleeping." Miles was their german shepard, who was loyal and defensive to Aaron, and more importantly, Levi.

The preteen leaned back satisfied with meal as his brother cleanexd up eyes followed him lazyily waiting for his question to be answered. He did not like the results, he pushed himself up a frown on his face, "Say whattttt?" Levi trilled in a whine.
