A Penny Family in Paradise (for Spankedbuttwannabe)

It was a lovely day in Vorcia City. The sun was shining, with nary a cloud in the sky. The great (if cramped) city stood like a bright, shining monument to prosperity, its great towers gleaming like gold in the light against an endless field of blue presented by the merger between sky and sea; were it not for the horizon line, one would be hard pressed to distinguish them.

Situated on the ocean-world of Sernisdal, Vorcia is its first, oldest, and biggest permanent settlement, as well as the official planetary capitol. The surface of Sernisdal is over 95% water, and the only habitable land consists of relatively isolated island settlements scattered across the globe. Because of this, as Vorcia grew, they slowly ran out of space to build outward; they therefore chose to build upward, in the form of huge towers connected by a labyrinthine system of walkways, elevators, and hovercar concentration tunnels.

This also forced its people to get comfortable with their neighbors being a part of their daily lives, because the option to move away from them generally isn't feasible. "We are all one people," their children are told from a very early age. Though Vorcia itself is more cosmopolitan due to the constant presence of offworlders, this spirit of openness and community runs through their entire culture. That makes what James Jones did all the more damning in their eyes; he could have wiped an entire town off the map with his deadly payload, to the detriment of all.

It also made it difficult to find Penny parents for him, probably because he was presumed to be some kind of psychotic monster. But find some they did... or rather, one. Jillian Skinner has been petitioning for a Penitatas to be assigned to her for some time now, and today, she finally gets her wish. She and her daughter have arrived in the city to visit its Rejuve center - Phorte Tower, levels 36 through 39 - to pick the boy up. They found him wearing only the backless paper hospital gown in which he was Rejuved, sitting on a metal bench bolted to the back wall of a gray, featureless waiting room. Jillian wore an white halter slip dress and matching heels, while 11-year-old Becky wore a black t-shirt with a nuclear hazard symbol on the chest, a black baseball cap, jeans, sneakers, and a leather belt. Both of them had earrings.

"Hello, Jimmy," Jillian spoke up, trying to sound as warm as she can. "I'm your new Mommy, and this is your big sister Becky."

James struggled against the metal bed he was tied against. His back, legs, and arms were held down, and he couldn't escape. He was naked, exposed in front of a large crowd and a judge. A nurse stood next to him, holding a tray with several needles.

The judge began to state, "James Jones, for violating the contempt and code of our society, by illegally sneaking in contraband, and causing the death of fifty unknowing citizens, I sentence you to 10 cycles, of 6 to 12 years. Beginning today, October 10th, 2856. Have you anything to say for yourself."

James gulped and said nervously, "I never meant to hurt anyone. I didn't even know it was illegal here, honest."

The judge said nothing, staring at the man firmly, before nodding at the nurse to begin the first injection.

At the first injection, James passed out, unconsious. The nurse continued to inject him with the liquids, causing his body to begin to get smaller. His privates began to shrink, much to the amazement of the younger women in the audience. He began to get less hairy, and all wrinkles on his face were gone. He was now smaller, barely three feet tall. His hair was now blonder, but still brown. His eyes seemed to even turn a lighter shade of blue, though you couldn't notice it since he was asleep. Within minutes it was done, and James had been reduced to the age of 6.

"Dress him, and take him to a waiting room," The judge said with less severity. "His new parents will be waiting."

A half hour later, James had been woken up, and was waiting on a hard bench in the middle of waiting room, wearing nothing but a paper hospital gown, his bare butt resting on the metal bench. He had been thinking about what he had done, not even knowing half the things he learned today at the trial. He had been jailed almost imminently after he had dropped off the shipment, and never got to speak for himself. Small tears were running down his face after he thought about all the people that got hurt because of what he did.

When he was spoken to, he looked up at the woman, silent as if unsure of what to say to her. He knew she was his rejuve guardian, having studied it in high school, but he never thought he'd be in this position. "Hello," He said quietly, finally forcing himself to say something

She had to admit, this isn't what she was expecting. From the way the media made him out, she thought she'd open the door to find a foulmouthed little hellion ready to strike her as soon as look at her. But instead, all she can see is a little boy with tear-streaked cheeks and a deer-in-headlights look on his face. She felt her heart melting. And why not? Discipline is given out of love, isn't it?

She approached him and gestured for him to stand up. With nary a concern for his dignity - something he lost all rights to when he was Rejuved - she untied his hospital gown and pulled it away, leaving him naked as a jaybird. "Let's get you into some proper clothes, hmm? I picked these up on the way over here for you." She withdraws a bright yellow t-shirt and jean shorts, as well as a new pair of sneakers and white socks.

He blushed red, and reached over covering his small under developed privates. He sniffled a little and said in a quiet voice, "What about underwear?" He didn't even notice the sister watching him, which was likely a very good thing. He would have been rather embarrased about her seeing his little member, or his bare bottom.

He didn't fight her at all when she pulled his hospital gown off him, feeling like he deserved this. He did however reach for the yellow t-shirt, slipping if over his chest, and getting his first look at the tattoos on his hands. It was a dark, black P, reminding him and everyone who saw him of his place in the world.

Becky laughed a little at seeing him standing there, completely nude in front of her.

"Aww, he's embarrassed, how adorable!" Jillian commented with a bright, bemused smile. "You might as well get over that, little Jimmy. Your sister is going to be seeing your bare little Penny bottom quite often," she said matter-of-factly as she pulled out a diaper and rubber training pants.

"I'm afraid you'll have to wear these for a while, until we get you potty-trained again. The Rejuve process tends to weaken the muscle memory needed to control your bodily functions, you see. Now be a good boy and lay down on the bench so Mommy can get your diaper on."

He blushed at hearing this, and laid down for her not argueing in the little bit. He knew it wasn't normal for a penny to be this good at first, but was scared to push the rules even a little bit, wanting to try and avoid a spanking whenver possible. He felt shy around these two girls, and didn't want to risk offending them. He spread his legs for her, his hands still down covering his crotch. He looked up at ceiling, not wanting to make eye contact while this was happening. Somehow being put in a diaper didn't really embarrass him that much.

Impressed by how quickly he obeyed, Jillian applied the diaper to his little bottom and fastened it, placing the training pants over it. This, of course, still amused Becky, though she tried to cover her mouth to hide it when Jillian shot her "The Look." It was at that moment that Jimmy could see a pair of silver "M's" on the backs of her hands, marking her as a Medicalos.

Once the diaper and training pants were in place, Jillian helped her new son to his feet and into his shorts. Unfortunately, the diaper is made specifically for pennies, which means it crinkles extra loudly when he walks to make it obvious that he's wearing them.

"There we are. Don't you look handsome?" she says, licking her thumb to clean up his face a little.

"Ready to go home, squirt?" Becky spoke up for the first time, watching as she leaned against the wall with her arms and one leg crossed.

James saw the M's on her hands, wondering what caused her to have to be rejuved. He hoped it wasn't the virus he had brought in, he really hoped it wasn't. He blushed as she helped him put him in his clothes and at the face cleaning. He took a step, gasping a little in suprise at the crinkling, finding that to be humilating. He waddled a little, finding it also to be very thick.

"Home," He asked quietly, looking up at Jillian again, unsure of what to say or do. He might need to hold onto her hand to be able to walk normally, the diaper making it rather difficult for him.

Jillian smiled, despite herself, and took the little one's hand. "Becky, honey, take his other hand," she instructed her daughter, who shrugged and moved to obey without a word. Thus "seized," the family walks out into the hallway and down to the office to finish up the paperwork and finalize the adoption. As they were about to leave, however, they were given a special gift from the family of one of his victims - a full pack of bee-riefs that includes every level on the market.

As they stepped out of the Rejuve center into the daylight, the sudden riot of light and color presented to his little eyes would probably make James blink and squint as they tried to adjust. Between the colors of the buildings, the heavy foot traffic passing through the landing at the end of the long stairs before them, and the buzzing and humming of hover-vehicles zipping into and out of a nearby tunnel, it was all a bit of a sensory overload after the quiet, gray space from which he was just removed. Add to it a vague sense of vertigo that comes with realizing you're about midway up a huge tower overlooking miles and miles of ocean.

From a nearby terminal, Jillian summoned an automated hover-taxi to their location, and it arrived a few minutes later. The doors opened. Becky climbed into the back, and Jillian placed her little boy on the seat next to her and secured him before getting in the front. A holo-display came to life on the dashboard, and Jillian punched in a destination. The doors shut, and the taxi maneuvers itself into the nearby tunnel to merge into the flow of traffic.

He smiled at the hands, and held on tightly as he was taken outside, his newly rejuved eyes blinking wildly from the sun. He relied on his new 'family' to lead him, having difficulty walking already from the diaper. All the sounds, all the colors, all the lights, it was all to much for his little mind to take in all at once, that he couldn't focus on just one thing. He climbed into the cab and sat by his mommy, leaning against her side gently. He was suprised he had been spanked in the building, but suspected that was coming later. "Where do you live," He asked quietly, looking up at her scared to death.
