WoW: A meeting in Ashenvale (closed for Nadja)

[Adell]

Therna Greenwatcher calmly made her way through the green and whispering trails of Ashenvale forest. The proud druid always loved talking walks and admiring Cenurion's beautiful work. Too bad today she was not on a walk. She'd heard the Orcs at the Warsong lumber camp were at it again, cutting down Cenurion trees to fuel their war machine. She would NOT allow them to get away with it this time!

[Nadja]

Amara, the apprentice shaman, made her way in the roughly same area of the forrest. She weren't exactly discreet. She thought about the use for wood as fuel in the machines, but thought it fair game. The earth wasn't complaining, and it could always regrow. It was patient like that.
Her job was to find elven spies and similar, and make noise enough to call guards to the area since she was hardly an experienced warrior.

[Adell]

Therna noticed Arama moving about not a very far distance from where she was and she quickly melded into the shadows. A troll... and a shaman at that. So she was also one to communed with nature. How could she stand by and allow the murder of these precious trees? She hoped maybe she could reason while this troll since it didn't not look very seasoned yet. She came out of the shadows and walk with meaning and purpose towards the troll.

She then called out her voice bouncing off all the tree, "Tell me shaman, does it make you happy to watch the forest die?"

[Nadja]

Amara immediately took a ready stance and summoned a rockbinding totem. "The forest will come back, the earth is at peace. Come out, elf, or I'll call the guards."

[Adell]

"I'm right in front of you shaman, and you must not hear the earth as I do. The entire land screams in pain from what you and your "allies" are doing to it. You take from it, give nothing in return, and still insist that you actions are without sin? How irresponsible can you be..." steps out into plain sight a short distance away from Arama. Therna taps her staff against the ground to show her annoyance.

[Nadja]

"The earth and the trees speaks different, druid. You listen to brittle leaves that lives for but a moment. The earth itself lives for ages upon ages of both man and tree. Much longer than you, in fact." Amara said and shouted for the guards. Or began at least, unless stopped.

[Adell]

The trees live in harmony with the earth, unlike your Orc compatriots. A forest will not simply grow back after a while no harm done. Damage is done to the ecology, to the species of animals that live here, even to the weather of this planet itself. All things are connected. I have seen the earth as it once was, as it will be, and how it should have been. The great Ysera has shown all the druids much during our time in the Emerald Dream during the thousands of years that I have lived. You short sighted fools cannot imagine the damage you have done and will continue to do." Keeps slowly advancing on Arama.

[Nadja]

Amara shouted for the guards again, where the hell were they? "I never said there would be no consequences, but what ones are for better or worse? And who judges that, you? The earth is older than you think, and it has seen species eradicated and lost, and new ones born time upon another." Amara said and moved backwards. Unlike the elf she wasn't affected by her totem.

[Adell]

Therna waved her hand at Amara. As she did so the very roots of the trees surrounding them sprang to life and began coiling themselves around Amara's legs. The totem gave Therna little trouble as she didn't have to move quickly to catch a stationary target.

"No, Ysera is the judge. She and her green dragonflight was appointed by the gods themselves to watch over nature and this planet since it was created. Her wisdom is far beyond the reason of yours and mine. These forests were given to my people to watch over and protect. You have not right to act though they are yours to do with as you please."

Therna's eyes begin to glow with arcanic power as she readies herself.

[Nadja]

Amara quickly hurled a bolt of lightening and sent a shock through the earth to trip her assailant. "The earth and nature are different things! You pray to your feeble and shortlived forests while I humble myself to the earth, sea, air and fire! The eternal ones!"
