Jaden, an escaped creation from a distant planet tensed as his ship exploded. He was sent flying down to Earth at a meteoric velocity, crashing into the ground moments later. He left quite the large crater, but was fine, albeit unconscious. He only suffered a few bumps and bruises.

It was a cold but sunny day of winter, and Piccolo was doing his usual meditation in a forest near the Lookout.
He suddently heard a very loud crash some miles away.

"What was that?" He said to himself while flying faster than he could towards the noise; when he landed, he saw a strange spaceship in pieces...and a small boy inside.

"What the...is it an alien?It looks like a human, though...." He picked him up gently and flew towards the Lookout. He needed to call the others and tell them about the boy.

The young boy shifted as he was flown, shuddering a bit. He stirred a little as his wounds began to slowly heal by themselves. He stayed unconscious, however.

When they got to the Lookout, Dende and Mr. Popo blinked when they saw the little boy in his arms.

"Piccolo, who?...."

"I'll explain everything later. I need to tell Goku and the others first."

He concentrated and sent a mental message to Gohan.

"Gohan....you and the others need to come here immediately."

"What's happened, Piccolo?" He asked as immediately as he gathered everyone.

"I found a little boy. He's probably an alien, since he crashed to Earth with a spaceship.

He said ironically.

"Come to the Lookout as soon as possible."

Piccolo asked Mr. Popo to prepare something to eat for the boy.
He then walked to the room where the kid was unconscious, and gently sat down next to him.

Several minutes later, the boy opened his eyes. He looked around nervously, shuddering as he began to adapt to Earth's atmosphere.

"You're awake. Don't worry, you're safe. My name is Piccolo and you are on planet Earth. What's your name?"

He said speaking gently but still a little rigid; he wasn't really used to talk with children.

Jaden blinked as he looked over at Piccolo, slowly sitting up. When asked for his name, the boy stared forward as if in thought. "Jaden." He replied after a few minutes had passed. He spoke gingerly, still slightly on edge.

"All right, Jaden. Before asking you questions, you must be hungry. Come this way."

Piccolo opened the door. The Lookout was immense: the child could see pure white marble all around, along with a few objects that looked incredebly ancient. From the windows, he could only see the blue sky and the light of the sun.
