The Doctor and Jenny

"Nononononono!", the Doctor exlaimed as he ran around the TARDIS trying to get it to do as he wanted. "Why don't you ever do what I tell you, you bloody thing!", he asked rhetorically, not getting an answer as he pulled levers and pushed buttons, to no avail.
The TARDIS had a mind of its own sometimes, and this was one of those times.

Eventually, it landed as "quietly" as it usually did, with the characteristic whooshing sound and a few moments later, the door opened and the Doctor peaked out to see where he was. It was a bleak world, but seemed inhabitable. The immediate area was one of trees and lots of them, so probably a forest somewhere. He straightened his jacket and locked the TARDIS, making a note of where it is moving further into the forest to investigate why the TARDIS had brought him here.

"I don't see any Daleks, or Cybermen, or Judoon, or anything else", he said to no one in particular, "So what'm I here for?". He had barely finished saying it before he heard the rustling of someone else moving some distance in front of him, and he immediately went on alert, hiding himself in some bushes, moving forward as quietly as he could. He could now make out the voice....it was definitely a girl's voice, and he was certain that he had heard it before, but he could not hear what the girl was saying, nor could he see her.

"The Bloody noise had to come from here...."she had been murmuring to her self as she had been more of startled awake by the sound of the tardis though she had no idea it what it was so she had been preped gun and all when the sound stopped abruptly, She blinked listening now to the voice talking to him self "who goes there?!"

Her voice trailed off as she turned on her flashlight to try to see who it was but to no luck it was to dark for the light to even illuminate "darn thing isn't bright enough!! But WHO ARE YOU?!"

The Girls Name was Jenny She knew that much and That she had been made. But she did know the Doctor was her father Though other then that she hadn't seen heads or tails of him since the day they parted ways.

He had changed his face a couple of times since they last met. Regeneration....it's tricky and delicate business. But he was certain it was her. And as he got closer, he recognized her face too.

"It's....no...it can't be....but.....but it is...", he said to himself, somewhat louder than he had anticipated, before looking at the girl again. "N..no, it can't be...", he repeated, a thousand emotions running through his body - surprise, exitement, unutterable joy, scepticism...and for the first time in his life, the Doctor was totally dumbstruck.

"J...Jenny?", he said, after what felt to him like several minutes, but was in fact not more than a few seconds. The irony of a Time Lord losing track of time was not within sight of him at the moment, as he stared. She had died on that planet. She was dead. She hadn't regenerated. But....here she was...which could only mean...
Now it was anger, pure uncontrollable anger that ran through him. He didn't know who or what this was, and why it had duplicated Jenny, but he was gonna make it sorry it had

"Who are you, and why do you look like my daughter!?", he shouted angrily as he came closer to the...thing...that looked like the child he had first washed his hands of, then embraced, then lost so horribly. Then he saw it. The shuttle from the planet she had been created on.

"But....but that....", he said, pointing weakly at the thing, then turning to face her...then turned back towards the ship...then back to her...

"The...the shuttle....but....you died.....Jenny...how......this....", he stammered. Never before, or since, would the Doctor be so confounded and confused....until it suddenly appeared to him the same way that ideas occur to people in cartoons - all that was missing was the lightbulb above his head.

"AAAAHHH!", he exclaimed and jumped, "The reaction came later! You DID regenerate! You DID! Haahaaaa", he laughed as he jumped around in a way that one would think was quite undignified for a man of 900+ years, but the Doctor had never been very dignified, and certainly not now as he found out that his daughter was still alive.

"It's me!", he said as he looked at her, after having calmed down a bit. "I'm the Doctor!"

The girls hair had been cut some what to keep it out of her way. Maybe a bit of more bounce in curlier hair becuase of the lack of being able to always take care of it.

But the face of the girl hadn't changed in the least! It was Jenny! "How.... How do you even...." her voice trailed off She knew something was up because this looked nothing of her father!

Jenny Looked closer at him before panicing at the tone of his voice when he had shouted.

"I'm The Doctor!" It rang in her head like a thousand whistles playing all at once.

"B-But How?!" She wasn't to sure of how the whole Doctor thing worked aside from she was his daughter and she knew slight things about him being a "Time Lord" not to sure though on the facts because her past was slightly scrambled up now. "D-Daddy?" she soon dropped the gun on the ground covering her mouth as tears began to stream down her face "B-But you sound so much like him!".

He smiled widely and almost ran towards her, and, before doing anything else, embraced her tightly. His previous incarnation hadn't been big on the hugging thing, but this one apparently was...Or at least he was, when it concerned his daughter. He held her so closely that he thought he would never let her go again. Come Daleks or Cybermen.

"Y.....yes Jenny", he said softer now. "Yes, I am.", he answered her question-that-hadn't-really-been-a-question to him.
He held her out from him and smiled "Goodness....you look....well..the same", he said, and again hugged her, before looking over at the shuttle. "How did you...did you get here flying that on your own?", he asked incredulously before shrugging, "Well, I guess you take after your old man, huh? But how did you manage on your own so long?", he said. She was part Time Lord.....but that also meant that she had a lot of knowledge and a lot of potential that she didn't know what to do with, and certainly didn't know how to utilize. That's why he would have taken her with him in the TARDIS even back then. He wanted to be the best daddy he could be this time around, even if he had been thrust into the role rather suddenly and against his will.

But now...now there was nothing he'd like more in the world than to have her with him.
The Doctor finally kissed her cheek before taking her head in both his hands and smiling.

"I..I can't believe it's really you", he said.

"Let's get rid of this, shall we?", he continued, taking out his screwdriver and pointing it at the shuttle, activating it and causing smoke to rise from the engine compartment.

"Better come with me", he said, "This thing is just space junk now.".

Jenny Blushed a bit when her father kissed her on the cheek "I Don't look a thing like the old me..." She said Though her face looked about the same, She was at least four inches shorter which she didn't enjoy and she had deep brown eyes this time!

But she didn't protest because she saw the sonic screwdriver come out and she blinked a bit as she just watched what she had basically slept in the whole time she had stayed been here "... I really hope you had a reason for that... There was at least a weeks worth of food in there!" Jenny said as she puffed her cheek a moment this regeneration being a lot more childish in nature but still as good of a hunter and smart to boot!

But She wasn't going to protest for long because she was a little tipsy as she took in everything the true shock now setting in "I... D...Dad" she said soon finding her body getting a little weak in the ankles as she grasped onto him tightly, So many thought's rushing though her head at once now memories of before her regeneration and memories of the short time she had with him before they had to part.

When the smoke cleared, the shuttle was still standing there, but the engine, as they would find out when they approached, was completely fried. He smiled at her.

"Don't worry", he said, "I only took out the engine, and unless you've been keeping whatever stuff you have in the engine, it's safe and sound. Besides", he said as he opened the door to the shuttle, "The TARDIS can take us anywhere we like, and we can get much better food than what you've probably been able to hunt in these forests.", he finished, looking down at his daughter, who looked 14 or 15 but was even younger than that in actual time. "I want you to come with me", he said. "Go with me. Travel the universe. I'll tell you all that you need to know, and a lot that you don't, but want to know, and even more that you probably don't want to know, but that I want to teach you because I'm cool like that", he finished and picked up a backpack from her compartment in the shuttle.

"WHat's inhere?", he asked as he handed it to her, then held up a hand before she could reply, his face suddenly jolting up as he looked into the forest.

"....wolves", he said. "Or what passes for wolves here. I know them - but I don't want to. We need to get back to the TARDIS...now", he said, then slung her heavy backpack over his shoulder, took her hand and ran back towards the TARDIS, holding on to Jenny's hand as if it was the most important thing in the world...which....it actually kinda was.

"We need to get to the TARDIS, Jenny!", he called out. "If we don't, we're dinner, and I don't want to become dinner.", he finished as he saw the charactaristic blue shape of the TARDIS too far away, and heard the "wolves", for lack of a better term, being too close. He sighed, took a deep breath, and quickly shoved a key into her hand:

"GO!", he shouted, but not angrily this time. This time, it was...fear. Not for himself, though, but for her. "Unlock the TARDIS and hide inside. I'll fend these things off!"

Jenny was about to tell him what was in the back pack before the man shouted "Wolves"

The girl held the key in her hand before looking at the man with a slight defiant look about her face "No...! I'm not losing you again!!" she said as she grabbed something out of the bag.

"Found a few of these but Never thought id need them until now!!" She Said using a small match from a pocket she had on her clothing to light it and tossed it.

Soon the item started to screech highly before the girl's face Twisted making a slight worried look and quickly made a dash to Doctor.

"GO..... GO GO GO GO GOOOO!!!"Jenny Said pushing the man with her Her voice slightly panicked as she pushed him to the blue box unlocking it and pulling him inside of it.

The loud boom happened as soon as the she slammed the doors almost knocking her into the man her face still covered in shock as she stared at him deeply.

He didn't have time to react before he suddenly found himself inside the TARDIS and a *BOOOM* sounded that would have been deafening to anyone outside...anyone, that is, who hadn't been blown to tiny bits.

He opened the door and noticed that a large area immediately next to and around the TARDIS was burned black, and he saw bits of "wolf" spread around. He sighed and turned around and looked at her, his face...a mix of extremely happy, somewhat disappointed, and upset. He hugged her close again as he held her for a while to calm her down a bit.

"I'm glad you're safe, little one", he said and smiled. "I really am.", and then he broke the embrace and looked at her firmly. Not angrily, firmly as he looked in her eyes. "I would have been fine, though. I fought in the largest, most bloody war in the history of the universe. It would have taken me little less than a second to set the screwdriver to emit a frequency so high-pitched that it would have made the wolves run away.", he said, holding up the screwdriver in front of her gently, and then looked at her.

"From now on, I want you to trust me, okay? When I tell you to do something, you do it.", he said softly, not bossing her around, but teaching her...like any father teaches his child. "You are still very young", he said, "And there are so many things you don't know. It's my job to teach you, and I'm happy to. Exited to. But...that also means you have to trust me. Okay?", he asked as he gently held her chin up and smiled at her.

Jenny nodded slowly to her father scolding her some she figured he would after something like that, But she just didn't want to loose him "Sorry I will trust you father" she said hugging him again for a moment before looking around in the TARDIS.

"So this is the blue box...?" she said moving away from her fathers grasp looking around in the box seeing all the shiny knobs levers an metal "Do... So the box brought you to this time... to find me?" Jenny gave a look back to the Doctor slightly smiling.

She looked rather dirty do to being not the up most priority to be always perfectly clean, Still and her face looked more covered in a form of slight dirt and blood it wasn't easy to tell but things could be better see now that she could be better seen in the light.
