Top secret discipline :: Komaki Cookee

Once again the Hughes family were packing up and heading to some other part of the world, thanks to Matt and Kai's secret occupation, American secret agents. They were being called out to snowy Russia because an unidentified object had crash landed on the outside of Moscow, and it was believed to be created by the Chinese.

"I'm all packed!" Elijah called from his own room. He'd grown up well. A skinny nine year old with blonde hair and blue eyes, his front teeth were a little protruded but it made him look super cute.

"Good boy Eli, what about Finny?" Matt asked, looking at his son over the rim of his dark shades.

"I think he's saying goodbye to the squirrels outside." Elijah answered, "I packed for him, you know he's bad at packing."

"Alright, make sure you both get into the car, we'll handle the luggage." Matt smiled and ruffled Elijah's blondish brown hair.

"Yes sir!" Elijah smiled and hurried downstairs, zipping up his red and black hoodie and walking outside to his brother, sometimes he swore Finny could talk to animals because of the way they were drawn to him. "Hey Fin, we're leaving, Dad says to get in the car."

Kai smiled as Elijah announced he would go and get Finny, "Good boy," he praised as he helped Matt with putting all the luggage in the car, asking Matt repeated questions, the same ones over and over again until he had gotten a certain answer the fifth time, considering he was a secret agent also, he was still a little hectic and in a slight kerfuffle to be sure that everything was in it's place and they brought everything they needed, he especially made sure to pack all the extra.

Finny sat outside in the forest, looking down at the ground as he looked at the animals crowded in front of him, he had previously been crying and there were still wet spots where his tears had dropped, it was very silent to make sure noone could possibly hear him, he looked at the animals and nodded as he whispered to them and heard his brother come out to him, he stood up and looked at him, a serious expression on his face, "... I... I've decided to stay here." he stated in all seriousness, believing to himself he could actually live on his own, he didn't want to leave, he was going to miss all the animals too much, he could barely even go to school without having moments of putting his head down and sighing, who was going to look after them whilst he was gone, that was his job, "We could be gone for months, I-I d-don't want t-to leave them." he stated.

Elijah sighed and looked at his twin brother, "Finny, you're not staying here." he told him firmly. "Like Dad and Papa would let you stay on your own anyways." he shook his head and then walked over to him, "Look at it this way, there's TONS more animals in Russia, and I'll bet there's even ones we've never seen before, you can take pictures and add them to your scrap book!" he explained. "Besides, we'll be back before they forget about'cha." Elijah then glanced over to the car. "We should really get into the car, you know what Dad's like about time keeping."

Elijah wrapped an arm around his brother and lead him to the car, "Maybe we'll see a bear this time." he grinned.

Matt sighed, "I wish we had a sitter so we didn't have to keep lugging the kids around...but I don't think I'd be able to focus on missions if I didn't know where they were or what they were doing." he explained and started carrying the luggage down and to the car, "Okay boys, buckle up."

Finny looked at Elijah and then back at the animals as he started leaving them, he waved at them sadly and kept his head down, "I'd like to see more animals, but leaving the ones I've left behind..." he almost whispered, looking down at the rim of his coat, playing with the fluffy ends to it. He nodded sadly as he was told he should get into the car, he opened the door and climbed in, looking out of the window as he waited for everyone to be ready too.

Kai, "Oh they enjoy going abroad anyway, Matt~" he chuckled, "I couldn't leave my babies here for whoever knows how long!" he stated, not wanting to be away from his children longer than a few weeks and their job was very demanding.. He climbed in the front seat, waiting for Matt too.

Finny groaned and pulled the seatbelt round him, just holding it as he kept starting to daydream.

Elijah nodded his head, "Well just think about all the animals we're gonna see in Russia." he answered and then took out one of his books, reading up about astrology since he really found it fascinating. "How long will it take to get to Russia, Papa?" he asked Matt curiously.

"It'll take us an hour to get to the Airport and then about five hours by the jet." Matt answered his son and noticed how sad poor little Finny was. "Hey, cheer up Finny. When we get to Russia, Papa will show you the nature reserve, they have all sorts of animals you never even dreamed of seeing." he grinned back at him.

"Eli, I want you to look after your brother when we have to leave you guys in the hotel." Matt explained firmly. Elijah was the more level headed, mature brother.

"Okay Papa, I will."

Finny sighed as he heard him say that and finally buckled in just hugging his bunny teddy and layed his head against the window, eating a tablet which Kai had given him to eat for motion sickness as he seemed to get it bad.

Kai looked in the mirror to see the two in the back and nodded in agreement with Matt, "Be careful not to make yourself sick, reading when we're in the car, okay, Elijah?" he said and smiled in the mirror.

Finny perked up when he heard Elijha would look after him, "Wh-Why? W-we're the same age! He's only older by 3 minutes, I can looked after myself." he stated, clearly in a bad mood.

Elijah looked at his brother and sighed when he argued, "Because I'm more responsible than you are." he answered his twin and then looked out of the window, "And last time you almost blew up the hotel room we were staying in..." he reminded him, which had been about three or so months ago.

"He's right Finny." Matt agreed, "Stop the tantrum and deal son, it's not like Elijah's a bossy kid, he'll just be looking out for you to make sure you don't get hurt or lost while me and Papa are gone."

Finny looked at them both with an annoyed look on his face as he heard them state things, "I was just trying to reach the nuts for the squirrels.. I tripped on oven's gas switch...." he stated and muttered something to himself that was probably best that their fathers couldn't hear.

Kai nodded in agreement, "Elijah's just going to make sure nothing happens, not tell you not to do things unless it's absolutely necessary." he explained and smiled, "Right, Elijah?" he said.

"For goodness sake! I'm sick of hearing about squirrels and badgers and the likes!" Matt groaned, "Doing things for animals is NOT a pass to do whatever you want, Finnian." he scolded and sighed, "If I have to ban you from animals, to keep you safe and focused I will. So you had better start showing me you can be trusted and responsible."

Elijah nodded his head and looked over at Matt, thinking he did have a point and he must be tired of it by now, "Right Dad." he answered and put his book down.

Kai bit his lip seeing an arguement about to rise about it, "Matt, I think that's being a bit harsh now..." he stated, feeling maybe Finny was being a little underestimated, however it was quite expected of Kai since he was a little softer.

Finny did feel anger rise in him and it only sent him over the edge when he heard Elijah respond to Matt, he unbuckled his seatbelt, put his toy next to him and punched Elijah as hard as he could.
