School has been left out for the summer. Every student was happy and couldn't wait to enjoy they time off. Roxas was talking to his friend Namine. Who was going out of town for the whole summer. She was going to go to a camp to focus on her art skills. He was a little bum he won't see her for thew whole summer, but they promised one another to write letters. He wished her luck and goes down to the beach. For he promised his other friend, Sora there after school. He knew him for a really long time. Since he is the younger brother of his brother's friend.

Leon was just getting out of work at a construction site. A few years ago, both him and his younger brother lost their parents. Not wanting to loose his brother to the foster system. He drops out of high school and got a job to support them. He wipes the sweat from his forehead with the towel drape around his shoulders. He pulls out his phone to send a text to his brother to see what he would like for dinner. Knowing he would be getting out of school now.

Now Cloud and Leon didn't have a problem with the boys going down to the beach, they said they could go after all. But they DID want the boys to put on sun screen because it was a very hot day and they didn't want their younger brothers to burn. Did the boys do as they were told? Of course not.

Sora purposely forgot the sunscreen in the kitchen and rushed to school that morning. Finally they were let out and Sora rushed to the beach, squirming around on the warm sand and relaxing until his friend Roxas got there. He then got a text asking what he wanted for dinner. 'Pizza!' he text back.

Cloud had gotten the day off work, so he was around the house fixing up a few things. Thankfully his job gave him a paid vacation through the summer holidays and he was able to spend time with his younger brother, Roxas. He'd let him hang out at the beach before going and getting him for dinner.

Roxas sees his friend was already at the beach. Before he went to join him. He stops at the snack bar and bought two Sea-salt ice creams for him and his friend. Then he joins him on the beach. "Hey Sora!" he said with a smile on his face and hands him the frozen treat. "I am so glad that sorry is finally here." he tells him. Taking off his shirt and shoes, leaving his shorts on. Enjoying the warm sun rays and licking his cool treat.

Leon sees the text his brother send him and chuckles. "Alright, pizza it is." he tells him. Then sends another text letting him to be home in an hour for dinner and he'll get his favorite pizza. Then he Bumps into Cloud. "Hey." he said as he walks up to him. "I'm guessing you just got off of work to."

Sora looked over and grinned at his best friend, Roxas. "Roxas, I thought you were never gonna show up!" he laughed and took the blue iced treat from him, "Thanks!" he started slurping it happily, getting juice down his chin because of how fast it was melting in the hot sun, "Did you put sun screen on? My brother was nagging me about it all this morning..." he groaned.

Cloud smiled a bit, "Hey Leon." he greeted back and shook his head, "No, I got the day off of work, and the whole summer, so I can spend it with Roxas. I hope that little troublemaker put on sun screen like I asked, it's scorching out here..." he puffed and wiped the sweat from his brow.

He was licking his treat when his friend asked him if he put on sunscreen. "No." he tells him. "I'm not going to be out here for long so it's not like I am going to get that burn anyway." he tells him. Thinking that his brother was a little overprotective at times. "I mean, the sun will set soon, so I don't see the big deal. Besides, I don't burn that easy." he said with a cheeky grin on his face. But in reality he does burn easily. "So got any summer plans? A friend of my is going to be gone the whole summer."

Hearing his friend got the summer off, he smirks and chuckles. "Lucky you. I still have to work. No paid vacation for my line of work." he tells him. Which he doesn't mind, but wish he could have more time to spend with his brother. Though he rather spend his time with him with a roof over their heads then in a box on the street. When he mention his brother and putting on sun block, he nods his head. "Same goes for Sora. I told him to take the bottle of sunblock I left for him on the counter before he left." he tells him. "My brother and I are planning of having pizza tonight. You and Roxas are more then welcome to join us."

"Hey, at least your brother's gonna be around for the summer and you can go somewhere awesome and fun. I can't cause mine's working. He's ...always working." Sora sighed and continued lapping up his frozen treat with enthusiasm. "But yeah I got told to put some sun screen on, but I never burn..." he shrugged, "What time do you have to head home?"

"Well that really sucks. I was going to take Roxas to Spain and I was going to ask if you and Sora wanted to join us. It's all paid for and everything." he smiled and then nodded his head, "We'd love that, Roxas loves pizza." he chuckled.

He knew that Leon worked a lot and his job was really demanding. "I'm sure he could request time off." he tells him. "I mean, with all the times he works. Surely he earned some time off." he tells him. He then tells him he didn't put on sunblock either because he doesn't burn. Then asked when he had to head him. Usually I just wait til my bro comes and gets me." he tells him. "Not sure what we are doing for dinner though." he said. So he finished his frozen treat and throws his stick into the nearest trash bin. "So until then. Let's fool around in the water." he said with a smile.

Hearing he was going to go to travel with his brother and asked him to come along. He took a moment to think. It would be nice for Sora if he could have a good summer vacation. "Well let me talk to my boss and see." he tells him. He is a hard worker, but he knew when to ask time off like he never works when it's Sora's birthday and asked time off if his brother was sick. He usually have to work late into the night or extra days, but he thinks it the price to pay and worth it. Hearing that him and Roxas was going to join then for dinner. He smiles and nods his head. "Cool. The pizza joint is close tot he beach. I'll order the pizza and you can get the boys. You cool with that?" he asked.

Sora nodded, "He's around for my birthday and weekends and stuff...but I wish I could go places with him all summer." he explained and then grinned when Roxas said he didn't know when he had to get home, so they could play around in the water for a while, "Sounds good to me." he tossed his ice lolly stick into the bin and rushed to the crashing waves of the ocean.

"Alright, we're leaving after the first weekend of the summer holidays." Cloud answered, "If you can't come, then we can always do something when me and Roxas get back." he assured before then nodding. "I can go and get the boys." he turned on his heel and headed down to the beach, smiling when he saw his brother and his best friend's brother. "Roxas! Sora!" he called.

Roxas nods his head and understood that. Though he was going through a small phase where he tries to act like he doesn't care that Cloud could spend time with him or not. Though deep down he does. Very a young age he always admired his brother. He goes into the water, feeling the coldness but quickly gets used to it as Sora gets in and starts splashing around and let the waves splash him as his brother came over. "Hey bro!" he shouts to him and waves. Then walks over to him. "What's up? Is it time to go home?" he asked.

Leon goes into the pizza joint and stands in line for awhile. Ordering a two large pizza. One had half of what Sora like and another of what he liked. Then the second pizza had what Roxas like and the other Cloud. He had some extra money tot he side so he doesn't mind spending on pizza. Though it was going to take awhile.

Cloud smiled at both boys and pulled his younger brother into an affectionate hug, "We're going to be having pizza at Leon and Sora's house tonight, kiddo." he answered and brushed a hand through his blonde spiky hair, "Sora, your brother's just getting the pizzas, so wanna head home in the meantime and we can meet Leon there?"

"Okay Cloud." Sora smiled and headed back to his house with his best friend and best friend's brother. He hoped Leon wouldn't be too long.
