Rise of the Queen (For Barbossadaughter)

[Silent]

Lord Balon, the guardian of the young ten year old queen of England was a very strict man. He wasn't the most intimidating looking man, he was of average height with brown hair and eyes, always dressed in a green tunic with red brioches. However everyone admitted he had the most manly of goatees.

"Has anyone seen the queen?" He asked the staff as they were preparing breakfast.

"Um...I think she said she would be sleeping in." Garrett, her friend and knight in training said, he immediately looked guilty upon saying it.

Balon took a deep angry breath before storming into the queen`s bedroom.

"YOUNG LADY!"

The young Queen was indeed still in her bed as she had sent the servants away and then slept in again. She thought she was the Queen so she could very well stay in bed instead of getting breakfast.

Alexandra Mary Elisabeth was a little 10 year old girl with shoulder long brown hair, grey blue eyes and she had been crowned Queen at the young age of 8. Her father died in a hunting accident and she was the only heir left.

Of course she was too young to reign on her own so she had her guardian Lord Balon. Whom she disobeyed quite regularly even if it ment a punishment. She also liked to be called Sandy by her close friends.

Lady Mary was the head lady in waiting of the Queen and she was the guardian of Garrett. She was firm but kind and she loved the boy like her own son. In private he was Garrett but in public she adressed him as Master Garrett.

[Silent]

"Lady Mary, wake the young queen I have something very important to tell her." Balon said.

He felt a tug at his tunic and turned to see young Garrett nervously standing behind him. His glossy black hair reflecting the guilt in his rather long face.

"Please don't tell her it was me, I don't want to get flogged...again." He said.

"She`ll have figured it out one way or another, but don't worry she`s the only one getting flogged for now." Balon said, he tapped his foot impatiently. "Mary where is her royal brattyness?"

Lady Mary sighed. It was obvious that Lord Balon was upset about the Queen's behaviour. As he was the highest in hierarchy next to Sandy, Lady Mary had to obey and could even ignore the Queen's orders. She went into her bedroom and woke the Queen up. "Your majesty. Your guardian..Lord Balon...he's very upset of your behaviour. Please you need to stand up."

Sandy groaned and rubbed her eyes. "Why can't I be left to sleep in peace?" She sat up and rubbed her head. Ghn. "Fetch me my clothes." The Queen was a tomboy and was allowed to wear boy's clothes except for official duties and audiences. Lady Mary helped her and she came out. Looking rather unhappy. "So? Which of you tattle tails was it?" She looked around.

[Silent]

"Never you mind that young lady!" Balon said, standing in front of Garrett who proceeded to flee in terror. "Sleeping in eh? When you know we have a full day ahead of us? Young lady this slothfulness will not do! Knights take her majesty to my quarters!"

Two of the royal knights sighed and picked up the queen ignoring her kicks and screams as they took her to Garrett`s room.

"Not a word from you." He said to lady Mary as he went into the queen`s room and grabbed her hair-brush.

"Just you wait young lady your bottom and this brush will be having a long conversation." He said sternly.

"Oh man...I`m so dead." Garrett said from around the corner.

Sandy kicked and growled indeed. "Let me go you big oafs! I order you! I'm the Queen." But it was useless. She had the title of Queen but certainly wasn't in charge. She was put into his lordship's room and frowned at him. But as he held the brush out, her face grew quite worried. "W..Wait my lord! I a..am sure we can talk about this..misunderstanding!"

Lady Mary sighed and went to Garrett. "It's not your fault and you'll see. After the talk with Lord Balon, her majesty won't think about it anymore." She tried to cheer him up.

[Silent]

"Well...I certainly hope so, my backside cant take much more of her worships cane." Garrett said shivering in remembrance of Sandy`s wrath.

"As I said, your bottom and this brush will be talking." Balon said.

In a swift motion of moves, Balon was sitting on a stool with the young Queen Elizabeth over his lap. Ignoring her pleas he raised the brush and cracked it down in a circular motion.

CRACK! CRACK! CRACK! CRACK! CRACK!

Sandy bounced over Balon`s lap as the queen`s dress covered rump bounced over his lap.

Lady Mary remembered as she was ordered to cane the young boy. She patted his back and shook her head. "I am sure it will be alright. Did you had breakfast?" She asked.

Sandy howled and squirmed as she was pulled over. "Ahhaa! No! Stop! Stop! Ehhe! Please! I order you! I'm the Queen!" She growled and tried to slip off.

Despite his lean frame Lord Balon had impeccable strength and pinned the queen down with his strong arm.

"The only thing you are little miss is the brat whose going to get a wake up call." Balon said smacking the brush down with twice the force, before lifting up her dress and smacking her frilly undergarments.

"I think I gave myself away though." Garrett said looking down. "I should get the queen a gift, you know to say I`m sorry."

Sandy screeched as she felt her dress lifted and the brush coming down. Many people in the court might have thought it, but Lord Balon was the only one allowed to say it aloud. The Queen was a brat and he certainly told her so. Sandy knew and felt like the naughty girl she was when in Lord Balon's presence, instead of the Queen she wanted everyone to see her.

Lady Mary looked at Garrett. "Well that's a nice idea. How about we go and see if we find anything nice? Her majesty likes books but I think even simple things can warm her heart. Did you have something in mind?" She asked her ward.
