RWBY: Fateful Encounters (For Destruction4all)

A warm, gentle, spring sea breeze blew through the forest island of Patch. The sun shined bright overhead. A lone person stood before a grave marker just before the edge of an outstretched cliff face overlooking the forestry island. On the grave was an etching of a white rose and text that read "Thus kindly I scatter" He was not a resident but a pilgrim. One who came to pay his sincerest respects for one who had an enormous impact on his young life. He wore a black jacket with an orange undershirt and matching black long pants. His hair was spiky yet slightly willowy with an deep orange color. On his back was lance, high tech looking, with colors matching his outfit with a hint of silver. He held a bouquet of white roses to which he knelt down and placed upon the grave. "I wish I had gotten the chance to see you again... to thank you for giving me the inspiration to become a huntsman. Now I have the strength to protect the ones I love... and I'm about to prove it to the world."

Then another person came up to the grave marker. She was wearing a black corset and skirt with a few red bits, black tights and a red cape. Her hair was brown with red accents and a compacted gunscythe was on her back. She looked at the boy with her silver eyes "I didn't expect somebody to be here,I'm Ruby, who are you ?".

Hearing footsteps behind him he stood up. Following a cute voice he turned and for a split second he thought he saw the women he met long ago dressed in a similar hood but white. But when he blinked he saw who was really there. A young teen who closely resembled her. Having his heart skip a beat as a result of his mind playing tricks on him he shook his head. "Get it together..." he said to himself. Then she introduced herself as Ruby and that sent chills through his body. "Ruby...? Ruby Rose?" he looked back at the grave marker then back to her. He chuckles then smiles "Don't mind me... I was just paying my respects to your mother." he said. "You look just like her almost. I'm Terra, Terra Thurston."

Ruby smiled "Yes,Ruby Rose is here." and chuckled a bit "Yeah, they always told me that I took after her the most.". She then turned Terra aground and looked at his lance "Wow,you've got such a cool looking weapon. You're new here aren't you ? Since this is the first time I've ever seen you aground. If you want I can show you aground.".

OOC: Maybe later. I wanna establish the relationship first. Unfortunately I have to go shopping now. I'll try to post more later.

He grinned when she noticed his lance. "Well I'm just here visiting to pay respects. And as for this..." He reaches back for it and draws it with a stylish twirl, brandishing it proudly. "This is my pride and joy Gungnir. Built it myself." With a flick of a switch the blade of the lance opens to reveal a gun barrel and side handle with a trigger. "Part Lance, part high powered rifle."

Ruby smiles widely "Oh,that's cool, how about I show you mine.". She takes her giant scythe of her back, unfolding it and twirling it aground before resting it on her shoulder "Behold,Crecent Rose-part scythe,part sniper rifle.".

His eyes bobbed at the intricacy of her gun scythe. "Wow! Such intricacy! I thought it was just a shotgun when folded up like that. You made that yourself too? You're really talented!" he smirked at an idea that came to him. "Wanna have a friendly duel?" he challenged, pointing his lance at her. "I think I've got time before I gotta catch the airship to beacon."

Ruby smiled "Yep,made it myself." and then took a combat stance "You're on !".

However it seems that their meeting was being watched by a third party. The observer was wearing a green outfit with white pants that have him an air of nobility. He had silvery green hair. This observer didn't apper to be dangerous through.

[Komuro]

Terra takes out his scroll and uses a countdown timer application and sets it on the ground. "3... 2... 1... FIGHT!" the scroll announces and on fight Terra jumps high up into the air, with the sun at his back it would prove difficult for Ruby to see him as he dive bombs her. This was one of his abilities simply called Jump.

Ruby squints upon seeing the ray of the sun, but manages to fire her Crecent Rose and use the recoil of it's shot to dodge Terra's jump. She then rushes forward at him, swinging her scythe at him.
