Within the nonsensal land of Ooo, there a incredibly rare sight that made as much sense as a tiger lost in the Antartica. A lost human being wandered in the city face stuck in the oversized map he recently found scattered on the ground. For his attire, he wore a green cloak where the hood party covered his tuft of blonde bangs, where some came into contact with his cheeks and eyelids.

He was completely unaware where he was at the current moment. Of course he knew he was in Ooo, but where about...? Was he stuck in some endless field of repetitive plant life...?

One of the many princesses of Ooo was currently dressed in a safari gear, a far cry from her royal wear. Cutting her way through the large stalks of grass in search of low to the ground plant she needed for a study she was contacting. She had left her none too intelligent candy subjects unattended (her butler not withstanding), so she had to be quick.

To her left she noticed a rustling in the grass. Turning slightly she noted a green hood moving adjacent to her. Curious Princess Bubblegum decided to kill two birds with one stone. "Hello there!" She said using her sweetest voice in the direction of the small individual . "Have you seen a plant with large pink petals ?" She said approaching with caution.

Ash needed a simple sign of civilisation or even a being with a heart and face to talk to. The act of being alone increased his anxiety as he desired help and wanted it fast. Looking both directions, he huffed to release a breath of worry before he decided to carry on. Worrying wouldn't help.

That's when he heard the voice of a female. An adult, perhaps? Perfect! The teen looked up with a face of satisfaction... only to drop upon seeing a female in a camouflage get-up whose skin was completely pink all around! He HAD to remember that this land was, how would you say, weird.

"Uh... hey." Awkwardly lifting a hand, he looked at her up and down, and up and down again. Weird. "Think so... over there perhaps...?" Pointing down the thicket.

Approaching Princess Bubblegum squinted slightly. As she took in the individual in front of her shouldn't couldn't help begin reading what in their appearance would signify their species, they were wearing hood. Possibly concealing something some strange features ?

She studied the creature for a moment. "What's your name ?" She asked really meaning what species are you , her air of fake sweetness slipping a little as she touched the top of the cloak. Her curiosity taking over, her mind wandering from her original task.

"Name's Ash, pinky..." he said, before looking up from the edge of his hood, right before taking it off him. The very garment revealed his messed-up but slightly-adorable blonde hair and his sapphire eyes. He looked roughly at the age of a young teen, around fourteen, but still pretty young.

"Are you a local around here...?" Of course she was, hence her weird skin colour. "I'm kinda lost around here..."

Narrowing her eyes slightly at the "pinky comment" Bubblegum stalked backward and saw the the creature known as Ash had been telling the truth. Plucking the plant from the ground and deposited in a jar for later, she turned her analytical mind back toward the......Ash.

"I'm not really local of here, but I know the land well enough to get back to the Candy Kingdom. You know children shouldn't wander alone in the forest, it's dangerous. " Bubblegum said wagging her finger at the boy slightly.

The teen watched the strange lady take the plant, thinking that she might be some herbologist. He didn't know any of that science stuff... though he had a soft soft for candy so the mention of the very substance caught his vast interest.

"You have a kingdom made out of what now...?" he asked, right before scoffing at the 'mama-like' scolding. "Not a child, teen, big difference..." he uttered. "But back to the candy,... you have a land that SELLS these or...?"

Bubblegum continued to look Ash up and down trying to ascertain what species he could be. He didn't appear to some kind of predator. She still however couldn't completely let her guard down.

"You look pretty young to me. Besides being as small as you, it wouldn't matter if you were 50. You still shouldn't be out here alone. "Bubblegum said crossing her arms. "Also no it is a kingdom constructed and inhabited by candy. Putting that aside what species are you? If you're some kind of shapeshifter I would prefer to speak to your real form."

He had to keep that very fact of an actual candy land in his mind, where the thoughts flooded in his mind. Do they have lollipop trees, gingerbread houses, chocolate rivers and candy cane lampposts?

And the PEOPLE were candy too?! What if he actually ate one...? Or would that count as murder...?

Well whichever, he had to tell the pink one his species, because to her it looked that humans were native. "I'm a human, a person, a man, a mammal. I can't shapeshift if I want to as I haven't got any powers..."

Eyes visibly widening in shock at the boy's statement, Bubblegum couldn't believe that she'd just discovered a human!

"You're human ? Are you sure about that? No mutations of any kind ? " She leaning close to the boy in inspection. "Well if you're really as vulnerable as your appear, I can not in good conscious leave you here. " She said putting her hands on her hips.
