"I'm sure you two will get along fine, kid." Emma told her ten year old son and ruffled his hair fondly. She'd just started dating Killian Jones (Hook) and more than anything she wanted her boyfriend and son to have a bond, so she was letting Hook take Henry out to sail on the seas, which she knew Henry would enjoy.

"What if he doesn't like me though?" Henry asked worriedly and looked to the door when there was a knock.

"Give him a chance Henry, and be good, okay?" Emma asked and kissed the boy's head before opening the door and seeing Hook. "Hey." she greeted, kissing his cheek. "Try not to turn my son into a pillaging pirate." she chuckled softly.

Mr Gold was still trying to find the whereabouts of his son, the curse had been broken and magic had returned to the land, so where was his son? He had transported to this world long before he and the rest of the enchanted Forest's inhabitants had. All he wanted to do was find his son and bring him home, raise him right without being the evil imp Rumplestiltskin. Of course he still relied somewhat on magic but he wasn't as bad as he had once been.

"Rumple?" Belle's soft voice chimed, "Rumple are you okay?"

"Hm? Oh...sorry Dear, I was thinking about...well, I guess you can figure that out." Mr Gold sighed.

"You'll find him Rumple, I promise." Belle said reassuringly and patted his hand.

Hook then grinned a bit as she kissed him kissing her beck "Aye will do, love" he said "ya ready Henry??" he asked as he gestured for him to follow him with his hook hand. He then smiled a bit "I packed you some goodies for the trip in the ole Jolly Roger" he then put his one and only hand on Henry's shoulder as they walked to the ship. He then whistled a pirates life for me as they entered the ship. He undocked the ship and headed out steering the boat as he did so letting his crew take over so he could drive it.

On the other side of Storybrooke in the enchanted forest sat a young boy. He spoke to someone into a mirror "Yes sir" he said with a nod "but what if "you know who" finds me?" he asked the man in the mirror with the tall black hat wit hthe red feather on it and a red gem.

The man had a very dark voice and yelled at him through the mirror "JUST GET ME THAT LAMP!!!" he said

THe boy nodded and headed out of the woods and into Mr. Golds Pawnshop. he nuscked his way in using magic which he had having jumped through the portal. He poofed himself inside and start to rumage around looking for what he came for. He then found the lamp and grabbed it and tried t wave his hand to get himself to dissappear but his magic wasnt working. He still never mastered it so it was hard for him to control it at times. He then snuck his way out shoving the lamp under his shirt. He then placed his hand on the door knob out opening the door. The boy was about 6 years old maybe a bit older but he sure was very young and he had blonde hair and blue eyes and was just adorable

Henry looked at his Mom who gave him an encouraging thumbs up and then he looked back to Hook and nodded. "Yeah, I'm ready." he answered and smiled, following Hook out of the house and down to the docks where Killian kept the Jolly Roger. He liked Hook but he didn't really see him as his Father or anything, since today would be the first bonding experience that they'd have.

The boy hurried onto the dock and looked out over the beautiful deep blue sea, smiling brightly, he liked being on boats. "Can I steer it?" he asked Hook hopefully, giving him those big puppy dog eyes.


Mr Gold was in the back of his shop with Belle, telling her the story about how he'd lost his son and wasn't sure how he was ever going to find him. Had he even come to Storybrooke or had he been transported somewhere else? The man frowned when he heard that little bell on his door chime, telling him someone had come in. Gold walked out just in time to see a naughty little boy stealing from him.

The man used his mafic to slam the door shut when the boy opened it, and it locked. "I certainly hope you're going to pay for that, boy?" he asked calmly but firmly.

Hook then looked at him then sighed "sure i guess go ahead..." he said . He then stood behind him as he steered the ship making sure to keep a careful eye on him as he did so so he didnt steer into anything dangerous. He then picked up his container filled with rum and took a swig and shoved it back into his pocket. He then adjusted his hook tenderly making sure it was on tight.

The boy then turned to him "how much???" he asked looking at him curiously. He then put the lamp on the counter to pay for it crossing his arms over his chest "name your price Dark One..." he said he said trying not to look afraid. He waited for an answer as he stood there his hands starting to twitch a bit

Henry watched Hook put the rum filled flask in his pocket and that made him curious. He wondered if he could swipe it and try the very adult drink without Hook ever knowing. For now Henry focused on steering the ship, every now and again glancing up at Hook to gain his approval on what he was doing. When Hook turned to speak to a member of his crew, Henry snuck around behind him and lifted the flask from his pocket, putting it inside his jacket.

"Where's the bathroom on this ship?" Henry asked innocently.


Mr Gold frowned at the question when the boy asked how much the lamp was. "Certainly more than you can afford with your weekly allowance, child." he answered simply and his brows lowered further when he was called dark one, and to name his price. "I don't believe we've met." he said and walked closer to the child.

"My name is Mr Gold, now who are you?"

Hook looked at him "below deck down the hall and to the right..." he said pointing to the door that lead below deck. He then turned back to Mr. Smee chuckling. He then watched as Henry left and kept on talking to his crew telling them what a lovely day it was. He then reached down the grab his flask and gasped a bit and looked towards the door "that little thief..." he said and made his way below deck and threw open the bathroom door having had the key for it just in
case of emergencies. He looked very angry as he threw open the door.

the boy then looked at him "how about a deal..." he said crossing his arms over his chest "If you give me the lamp ill tell you where your son is..." he said "your sons name is Jack right...?" he asked having known his sons name. "I know where he is and im not telling you until you give me that lamp..." he said crossing his arms over his chest.

Henry of course didn't think he was being a thief, just a curious child and like any child he wanted to see what the forbidden drink tasted like. Henry nodded when he was told where the bathroom was, "Thanks." he smiled and headed down below deck and to the bathroom where he locked the door and opened up the flask, Henry eyed it carefully and took a small sip. It burned his tongue and throat and he didn't like it at all.

He then squeaked in fright when the door burst open and Hook came in, looking very angry, which scared Henry.


Mr Gold's eyes narrowed when this child dared to bring his son into the conversation. He shook his head at the bargaining, "Even if I believed you, which I don't. You're not even seven years of age, why on earth would you have the means to keep my son from me?" he asked, crossing his arms over his chest and shaking his head. "So what's so important about this lamp, boy?" he asked, using his magic to make it appear in his own hands, and he looked it over.

"It's not a toy, you know."

Hook then grabbed Henrys shirt wit his hook hand "And just what do you think youre doing mate?" he asked grabbing the flask from him with his good hand and stuffing it into his leather jacket. He then stood the boy up and dragged him out of the bathroom and into the bedroom "young lads should NOT drink rum!" he said as he sat on the bed "naughty sailors who disobey the captain are punished..." he then laid Henry over his lap baring his bottom right on the spot and holding him down with his arm wrapped around him giving his bottom a good slap.

The boy looked at him "My master wants it..." he said looking at him "Jafar wants it.." he said crossing his arms over his chest "now let me go or else Youll never find your son..." he said sourly. He then thought for a minute and pulled something out of his pocket which was a necklace that he gave his son as a baby. He held it in his hands "you know what this is right?" he asked

Henry was scared for a moment that Hook would plunge that metal hook of his right into his heart, after all if he was out of the way then he could just have Emma. Henry got teary eyed when Hook yelled at him and dragged him into his bedroom. "I-I'm not a sailor...I want my mom!" Henry answered, shaking like a leaf and screaming when Hook bared his bottom and gave him a hard smack. "I-I just wanted to try it, I-I'm sorry!" he whimpered, trying to get free.

It was clear to the boy that Hook didn't like him at all, and in no way would the pirate want to be his Father. "Let me go, I wont bother you...please..." he sobbed.


"Jafar?" Mr Gold repeated and rose a brow when the child told him to let him go otherwise he would never find his son, the man found that very hard to believe. However when the boy pulled the necklace from his pocket, the man's eyes widened and his brows drew down in immediate rage and upset. "Where did you get that?!" he bellowed, towering over the child with every intent to throttle him if he had hurt his son. "Tell me, NOW!"

Hook gave him a few smacks on his bare bottom and then pulled Henry into a hug "dont ever scare me like that again" he said hugging him tightly "RUm isnt good for children. it could kill you. I love you as if you were my own son and i dont want ye to become an alcoholic." he said rubbing his back "promise me youll never drink that nasty stuff again?" he asked looking him in the eyes.

the boy cowered a bit "Just gimmie the lamp...!" he said using his magic to push him back. He then grabbed the lamp and disappeared using his magic which only led him outside the shop but he started to make a run for it tripping about a yard away from the shop. Jafar appeared before him in his black robe and with his Cobra staff and grabbed the lamp from him "Good Job Boy!" he grinned as he then looked at the boy "have a good life...! ahahahahahahah!!!" he said before disappearing.

The boy sat up looking at his leg as it bled. He stood up trying to limp away. He made it as far as the edge of the town before falling on his butt. He then pulled the necklace out of his pocket and looked at it carefully. He flipped it in between his fingers looking at it carefully. He then threw it into the woods with a little grunt. He then sat on a nearby rock and looked at his leg as it bled quite a bit
