Post The Family Business (LyonGirl)

Mitsuo Kobayashi was sitting at his desk, gazing down at some accounts before looking over to his second in command as well as his oldest son. "I see no reason why we shouldn't be able to push into the Chinese and American markets...we have plenty of men who can move the weapons." He said calmly, tapping his fingers on the desk in thought. "We could send a few of our associates from the Western areas...they know how to manage larger shipments." Mitsuo added, before his phone started buzzing. It was on his personal phone, which meant it concerned one of his two younger sons. "One moment, excuse me." He said, before answering the phone. After a brief phone conversation, Mitsuo hung up and quirked a brow. His youngest son hadn't shown up to school it seemed. "When your little brother shows up...send him here to me." He ordered, looking to his oldest.

The middle brother, Takashi, was grinning and waiting for his younger brother's arrival. God, the little punk was screwed when Dad found out that he had skipped school. The moment the door opened, he had a bright grin on his face. "So nice of you to join us, eh Little Brother?" He teased, brushing his long dark hair out of his eyes.

Hisako Kobayashi listened intently while his father talked business to him. In some ways, he didn't really care, but he was in no place to say that aloud. "You're right, father but you should also make sure there are plenty of men. Not too many people would be keen on new people stepping onto their turf and would easily take it out on our men. We just have to make sure they're prepared for what comes." He was about to say more when his father's phone rang and could only imagine what could possibly have happened with his brother, probably a fight if anything. He would find out soon enough...all he could tell now what that his little brother was dead. "Yes father, I will." While they were talking, he could hear the door open and close. "I'll get him now, father." and with that, he headed out of the room.

Ryugi panted as he ran to the house and leaned against the wall. He looked at his watch and sighed. This was about the time he would come home from school so perhaps his father wouldn't have even noticed. He just tried to catch his breath and look as normal as possible. He was about to head to his room when he heard Takashi and sighed. "Ugh, shut up Takashi, I wasn't even that late." He said as he gave his brother an annoyed expression. He was about to hurry to his room when he was stopped by Hisako. "Not to face, Ryu...Dad wants to see you. Now." Ryugi's eyes widened and turned to look at Takashi. "You told on me? You jerk." Ryu took a deep breath before walking up the stairs to his father's office. He walked in and closed the door before bowing some. "Good afternoon father..."

“I didn’t tell on you, Loser. Father probably already knew. You were always shit at lying anyway.” Takashi replied with a roll of his eyes, watching his younger brother walk towards their father’s office like a man heading to the gallows. He looked to his older brother, eyes interested. “So, what were you and Father talking about, eh Hisako?” Takashi asked, sidling closer to the elder of the three. Father had only let Hisako into the business meetings a year or so ago, and that meant that Takashi had at least four more years of waiting. He was eager to get involved with the family business so to speak, much to his Father’s displeasure. “Do you think Father will let me come with you two to China next month?” Takashi asked, pacing back and forth excitedly. He had ideas of how to expand the business too, even though their mother would absolutely slit his father’s throat if he brought the younger ones along.

Mitsuo glanced upward when his youngest entered the office, raising a brow at his son. “It seems like you were absent from school today, Ryugi.” He said calmly, putting his pen down and considering the young teenager. “This has been happening more and more often. I expect my sons to get an education and get high marks in school. Not waste their time by skipping class.” Mitsuo lectured, standing up and coming around his desk. He was a tall man, perhaps a bit abnormally so. It served his purpose when it came to intimidating his people, as well as his sons. “What exactly was so important that you thought skipping school was the right thing to do?” The father questioned, crossing his arms. Ryugi was always a stubborn child…always wanting to grow up too fast.

Hisako watched Ryugi head up the stairs and shook his head some. Hopefully, his youngest brother would grow up a little and just take what would be coming his way, but Hisa had been wrong before in life. He walked all the way down the stairs and Takashi didn't waste anytime in trying to pry into the family business. "What father and I talk about regarding the business, is none of yours. When you're about 20, you can come found out what dad and I are talking about." Hisako headed out of the living room and towards the kitchen to get himself a quick drink while he had some free time before his father wanted to speak with him again. "Takashi...you and I know good and well what mom would do to you, me and father if he let you come to China with us. Don't even bother trying to ask."

Ryugi sighed softly. Wow, his father never wasted any time getting to the point. Ryu could do one of two things, apologize for skipping school and tell his father the truth, or completely lie about it. The choice was his. So he stood there quietly and looked up at his father...why did he have to be so tall?! So Ryugi took a deep breath and made his decision. "Father, I did go to school. What had happened was, I had been late for class and when you miss roll call, you're considered absent for the day so that's what happened. I didn't skip school...this time, I didn't."

Takashi groaned when his older brother immediately informed him that he couldn’t know what the family business was up to. “You know Father won’t bring me along until I’m at least twenty-one Hisako.” He moaned, heaving a sigh. “I’m almost done with school! Why can’t I come? We don’t have to tell Mom!” Takashi said, lowering his voice in case his mother was hovering around one of the corners. If he wasn’t careful she’d come after him brandishing a wooden spoon. Although it wasn’t like he could go missing for a week and have his mother not realize something was wrong. “I don’t see what the point is…we both know we’re all going to be apart of the family business one day. You’ll take over for Father when he retires, and Ryu and I are going to be your seconds.” Takashi said, leaning against the counter. “Couldn’t you just speak to Dad, please Hisa?”

At the lie, Mitsuo’s brow arched even higher. “Ryugi, you and I both know that the automated calls are different than your principal calling me to let me know that my youngest son missed school.” He said sharply, his hand shooting out and snagging ahold of Ryugi’s wrist. “And now you have added lying to the list. I did not raise my sons to be liars, nor do I let them skip school.” Mitsuo sat down in his office chair, before standing Ryugi in front of him. He was a strong man, and it was easy to keep a grip on his son while undoing the buttons on the boy’s pants. “You’d think you would have learned by now, Ryu!”

Hisako frowned and looked around for their mother before looking back at Takashi. "Because, this isn't a game, Takashi. Dad wants us to be twenty-one for a reason and if we took you...one, mom would notice with the same hour and two, mother would not only kill you but me and father if she thought we allowed it." Hisa sighed. He really wished his brothers would stop thinking the yakuza was such a fun thing to be a part of. They had such a childlike ideal about it when it was nothing like that at all. It was scary and deadly and every time he and his father stepped out of their house, they were risking their lives to make sure food was on the table and their family was safe. "Okay, listen....I will talk to dad about it, but I will not guarantee he will say yes. So don't get your hopes up and don't get mad at me when he says no, got it?" Why couldn't his brothers want to be engineers or doctors...why this?

Ryugi could feel the color drain from his face. He didn't think the principal would actually call his dad...now he really was in for it. Ryu tried to pull his arm back when his father grabbed him, but his dad was a very strong man, especially compared to him. Ryugi could really go to the gym once or twice in his life. "W-wait! Wait dad, I'm sorry! I'll tell you the truth! Wait!" Ryu quickly tried to squirm and pull back to stop his father from unbuttoning his pants. "I-I was at the dock, I was watching the new shipment come in, m-making sure nothing went wrong, you know? I won't skip school ever again and I won't lie about it, I swear. C'mon dad, I'm 15, you can't keep doing this!" He whined, still trying to pull away from his father.

“I know it’s not a game.” Takashi retorted, crossing his arms. “I’ve seen a little bit of what you and Dad do, and that’s what I want to be apart of.” He protested, even though he was probably still a little naïve as to what being apart of the yakuza was all about. There had been a few times when they were younger where their father had shot at, threatened, and nearly gotten stabbed. How their mother was still putting up with it, Takashi didn’t know. As soon as Hisako said he would talk to their father, Takashi grinned brightly and hugged his brother tightly. “Thank you Hisa!” He said, pulling back and practically bouncing on the balls of his feet. Hisako might be risking his father lecturing him, and Takashi appreciated the risk. “We have our exams next week. ” He announced, snagging a soda from the fridge and leaning against the counter. Their younger brother’s protesting could be faintly heard from upstairs, and Takashi winced. “Looks like Ryu’s getting it.”

“Hisako!” Sachiko Kobayashi stepped into the kitchen, her gaze fixed on her oldest son. Even though she was approaching her mid-forties, the woman was very pretty. She also had nerves of steel. It was necessary when your husband was the leader of the yakuza. “Where’s Ryugi?”

The knowledge that his youngest son was at the docks only upset Mitsuo more, and his eyes were practically ablaze. “I have told you and Takashi time and time again to stay away from the docks!” The man lectured sharply, tightening his grip on his squirming son. “I can and will keep doing this as long as I think it’s necessary.” Mitsuo said, before tugging down Ryugi’s pants and underwear down to his knees. He easily hauled his youngest over his knee, pinning him in place. Mitsuo landed the first hard spank to the middle of his son’s pale little rear, and it was soon joined by several more. “You stay away from shipments, do you hear me Ryugi? You don’t know who the hell could be watching you!” He scolded, a particularly hard set of spanks coming down on Ryu’s thighs.

Hisako could only sigh at Takeshi's excitement, he should've let him go by himself to speak to their dad about him coming along...at least that could spare him having to hear an earful from their abut his rules and why Takashi and Ryugi needed to stay home with their mother whIle he and Hisako handled the business. "I hope you know you owe me a favor for doing this Takeshi and it's one I won't be forgetting about." Hisa walked to the fridge and grabbed his own soda. "You better do well on those exams if you want dad to even consider thinking about letting you come." He said and took a sip before jumping when his mom called him.

He had nearly choked on his soda and coughed a little before looking over at his mother. "Yes, mother?" He looked over at her as she came in and looked up towards their father's office. "Ryuji is with father, mom...he was skipping school again. Did you need him for something?" He asked, a bit curious on if he was in more trouble already.

Ryugi had only wished he had lied again and said he had went to the arcade or a little restaurant or the park or something! Just the look in his father's eyes said he was really going to be in for it now. "D-dad! Please don't!" He said in a last attempt to be let go, but was only put over his father's knee. He kept his hands on the ground to keep him up and was already trying to squirm away, but that was no help whatsoever, his father was a strong man and Ryugi could do nothing but accept his punishment. When the first smack came down he yelped. "O-ow! Ow!!" He cried out as the horrible smacks came down. He was determined not to cry, he was 15 after all, he could take a spanking at this age, prove he was somewhat mature. However, as the smacks came down on his thighs he couldn't help but kick, why did his dad have to go for the thighs. "Yes sir! I won't go to the docks, I said I wouldn't."

Takashi nodded eagerly, not even bothered that he was currently indebted to his older brother for taking the time to try and speak to their father. Hisako would probably get lectured, but Takashi appreciated the offer regardless. He groaned at the mention of his exams, tossing his head back and glaring at the ceiling. “I don’t see why it matters…it’s not like any of us are going to university. We have jobs as soon as we turn twenty-one as it is.” Takashi answered, before quickly hushing up before his mother could turn her attention to her middle son. “Mom, why are you all dressed up?” The middle child asked, nodding to his mother’s pretty dress.

“One should always look presentable Takashi.” Sachiko admonished, shaking her head in despair, before looking to Hisako. “No, I only meant to tell him that whatever he ordered had come in. The mailman just dropped it off.” She said, raising a brow. “And what happened for your father to summon Ryu?” Sachiko asked, sighing at the sounds echoing from upstairs. “I swear, you three never learn.”

Mitsuo tightened his hold on his kicking son, landing a series of hard swats right back on his son’s bottom. He tended to swat randomly, not wanting his sons to get used to wear his palm was going to come down next. “And yet you did Ryugi! I don’t want to keep repeating myself. You. Are. Too. Young.” He scolded sharply, every single word punctuated with a hard spank to his youngest son’s undercurve. One thing was for sure, Ryugi wasn’t going to be sitting comfortably in school the next day. Perhaps this would remind him that skipping school and lying to your father was never a good idea. His son’s poor little backside was already a light pink, coming into a light red. “I don’t make rules to amuse myself. I expect you to follow them as long as you expect to ever join the yakuza. The first lesson is to always follow instructions.” Mitsuo said sharply, before selecting a ruler from atop his desk.

Hisako shook his head. "Yeah, I thought that too Takashi, but dad takes our education very seriously. We can't run a Yakuza being stupid. I thought that about one of my exams, you know, thought it was stupid. When father got my grades, I learned that my education is extremely important. Just focus Takashi and pass and again, maybe he'll let you come." He said softly while their mother came in.

"Mother, I wish you wouldn't generalize it as the boys, I'm 24 now, I don't make those simple child mistakes anymore...but he's with father because Ryu had been skipping school again and the principal called about it. So who knows how much trouble he's in Hisa said as he leaned against the counter. "Wonder what he got in the mail." He said, just a but curious.

Ryugi had been biting his lip and whimpering as his father's horrible hand came down agains his bottom. Why did his father have to be so strong?! He was trying so hard not cry, but with how his father dealt with situations like this, that was virtually impossible. Once his father had stopped for a moment, Ryu had hoped it was finally over and went to sit up, but his father still ha strong grip on him. "D-dad, dad please! I won't skip achool, Ilearned, I learned." He said in a very shaky tone. He then saw the ruler and that quickly kickstarted his squirming. "No!! Father no!! Please don't use that, I'm sorry!!"
