Need help with a scenario (Overwatch Theme)

Hey all,

I need help coming up with a scenario that Sombra would take the blame for something that Widowmaker commited on a mission but it has to be something that could pass for Sombra doing. I'm at a loss for ideas for this. The best idea will be written into a future chapter of my Overwatch Spanking Chronicles.

Hmm how about something like this:
A small Overwatch team consisting of Mercy, Tracer, Widowmaker, Sombra, and Mei get sent on an undercover mission to a Environmental Awareness conference to protect some influential scientist from getting assasinated. While Mei is one of the speakers at the conference (undercover), Mercy and Tracer are in the audience watching out for suspicious activity. Widowmaker and Sombra are assigned to guard the perimeter, but don't take it seriously (get distracted with by being competitive with one another or goofing off or something), so an undercover talon agent manages to slip passed their defenses and wreak havoc. After said mission, Mercy has a strong word with both of them, in which Sombra tries to take the blame. It's up to you whether or not Mercy believes Sombra. Personally I'm up for them both getting spanked tbh.

Not a bad idea but I was planning on keeping Widowmaker and Sombra as members of Talon while they kept it a secret from the rest of the girls. I guess they could be double agents but not sure if I like that idea. Was thinking of them going on a mission with Reaper but it goes wrong somehow. It would have to be quite a bit different mission than the animated short Blizzard released debuting Sombra. Sombra taking the blame from Widowmaker will lead to another scenario I have planned.

It would really depend on the scenario you want. Since your Chronicles already has Sombra taking punishment for Widowmaker when Mercy caught them, I'm thinking you probably don't want Mercy to be doling out the punishment.

If the two were on a mission with Reaper, I'm assuming Reaper is the one doling out the punishment. In this situation, I would suggest something similar to the above post, that they were both ordered to be on standby and secure the perimeter so Edge Lord can do what he needs to uninterrupted.

The twist I was thinking of for the scenario is that Widowmaker has the job of keeping an eye on the skies while Sombra is in charge of the ground and both are supposed to stay unseen/quiet unless absolutely necessary, but Widowmaker's venom mine is accidentally placed on the ground and security of wherever they were raiding notices the mine and realizes what it is.

To cover for Widowmaker, Sombra makes an appearance to perhaps EMP? Reaper hears the commotion as he finishes up his creepy skulking thing inside, comes out, realizes what happened, then everyone gets the hell out of dodge after a lengthy fight where he needs to maybe use Death Blossom.

Back at the Talon hideout, during the debrief, Reaper is told what happened, but instead of a venom mine being discovered, Sombra lies to cover for Widowmaker and says her Translocator was found by security.
