In Mexico it was yesterday. My sister and I got her some flowers and a cake and woke her up early to congratulate her.

In the DK it was a couple of months ago, but no one really celebrates it.

Here (UK) it was several weeks ago. However, it isn't really Mother's Day but Mothering Sunday (ie fourth, being the middle, Sunday in Lent), but you're hard pressed to find greetings cards etc that say that rather than Mother's Day. My mother normally gets plenty of flowers from myself, my sisters and my nephews, and my Grandmother is usually invited [st]for[/st] to lunch.

I'm gonna make my mother breakfast in bed! I'm thinking waffles and eggs! ...Now, to learn how to cook something without burning it!

I made my mother pancakes, eggs, and bacon for breakfast. I also got her The Godfather collection which is one of her favorites. I am also going to make her dinner which I am starting right now.

We went to brunch over at my sisters and saw basically all of the mothers on our side and on my brother-in-laws side. My Dad and my sisters are really sweet because they each got my wife a little something because she always misses out since we don't have any kids.

I put myself out $15 on some tilapia filets and made stir-fry last night for my mom, dressed up in my kimono and strung lanterns in the living room. *giggle* Andy came over too and we had a fabbity fab fab time...<3
