Make a tough guy outta you
Maxwell Issac Harrison was with out a doubt a doormat. He'd never really been taught discipline or how to stand up for himself. Not having a father in the picture, so he'd grown up to be pitiful. Letting anyone walk over him and order him about. He knew however this wasn't good. He needed to learn to fight for himself and be a man. But he wasn't sure where to start. Then, he saw an Ad in the paper for a group of trainers..An organization to help guys fight and toughen them up. He figured that's what he needed to do, so next Saturday he went..
Eventually they gave him a name tag and a paper with his information in it, and handed him a room number. He headed up the steps, knocked. Tweedling his thumbs and looking down as he waited for someone to answer.

Jack Bishop was a very well disciplined man. He'd served time in the military in his younger days, and then he went on to be a paramedic, and a Father of two young boys. Things with his wife didn't work out, so he only got to see his son's on weekends, but they both knew to respect him or else face the consequences. He'd always taught his boys and the people he went to help to never let anyone walk over you, and not to be such a pushover.
He found in life that a lot of young people struggled standing up for themselves, so he started up a program with some trusted colleagues and put an AD in the paper for anyone needing to toughen up. Jack looked up at the timid knock at the door and didn't move from his place at his desk.
"Come in." he called, voice firm and confident.

Maxwell walked in as soon as he was given the order to. Eyes on the floor as he approached the desk, tugging at his jacket nervously as he stood in front of the desk. Looking like he was about to face a boss in a game instead of a regular person.
"I..I heard that you could help me..Here's my information sir." He said in a whisper, handing over his papers.

Jack gave the young man a warm smile and gestured to the seat opposite his desk. "Maxwell, right? I remember your application a few weeks back." he said and looked over his papers, reading the part about how Maxwell hadn't had a Father growing up. "What was your mother like, Maxwell? If you don't mind my asking?" he asked curiously.

"My mother sir?" Maxwell questioned, and scratching the back of his neck shyly, and looked down,"Oh she was nice enough..She kinda babied me though." He admitted,"She told me that nobody liked a tough guy, but I think she didn't realize me being passive would not be good for me.."

"Ah, I see." Jack answered, writing a few things down on a little pad, he caught the boy looking and smiled. "Oh, don't worry about this, I'm just making notes--my memory's not the best." he chuckled. "So---let's talk about discipline. How were you disciplined growing up, Maxwell?"

Maxwell looked over when the man wrote notes down. Fearing he'd said something bad, and he was being graded. However, he relaxed when Jack assured them that wasn't the case,"Discipline? My mother wasn't really big on it, but she sometimes sent me to bed early sir." He replied.

"Okay that's fine. Discipline during childhood doesn't define who you are, as there's always self discipline that you learn along the way." Jack explained and jotted down a few more notes. "Now tell me, what's your opinion on spanking?" he asked, as though he were talking about the weather or his favourite drink.

"Oh o-okay sir." Maxwell stammered, breathing a sigh of relief, only to be taken aback once more when he mentioned a spanking. He'd never got before, and he didn't want to. He had seen a little kid get spanked once, and it looked very painful,"I..I don't think it looks pleasant at all sir. I've never been spanked before, but. I don't mind if there are those who believe in it.@

"Spanking is an effective punishment---as long as it's done right." Jack explained. "A lot of this generation's youths could benefit from it--and some young adults, too." Jack was in his fortes, so he was quite a bit older than Maxwell. "Spanking is part of the program here, but if you're very much against it, then you can sign a document withdrawing that procedure from your treatment here."
