Living in the Shire was a young Hobbit by the name of Joseph. Though he did not carry the name, the blood of the Tooks was in his vains. And with it, a spirit of adventure. So, gathering all the traveling supplies he would need, he headed out.

A few days after having left the borders of the Shire, he got captured by an Orc pack. Now they were discussing how best to cook him.

“I still say we should just roast him and be done with it!”

“Why not just eat ‘im raw?”

Joseph was just trembling in the sack he’d been forced to. How had it come to this? All he wanted was an adventure! He didn’t want to be eaten!

It was only Joseph luck that this same day Arianwyn, a female elf, had been around as the orcs discussed how to cook the young hobbit. At nearly six hundreds years old, Arianwyn had a pale blonde hair which fit perfectly with her pale skin and amber eyes. Over her left eye, a black War paint in the shape of a crescent moon could be seen.

Wearing a silver tunic and black pants under a dark green hooded cloak, she stood just above a tree's branc as she drew an arrow and prepared to attack. There were eight orcs in there. She quickly dispatched three of them who were far from the others and them shoot another one in the head. Just as her fourth target fell, the remaining four orcs drew out heir swords; one of them never finished drawing his, because another arrow pierced right through his skull.

Then, putting her bow at her back, she unsheathed an elven blade as she leaped from the branch. For the next six seconds, metallic sounds and yells filled the air. In a blink of an eye, two of the remaining creature were dead. The last one didn't offer a even a proper challenge as Arianwyn rolled under his arm just when he attempted a slash, then finished him with a quick swing to his neck.

"Done"

She looked around until she found the source of the calling. Arianwyn quickly released the prisoner, only to realize he was a young hobbit. "Stupid orcs, are they kidnapping hobbits now?"

“Thank you! Of thank you Lady Elf!” Joseph bowed low and then hugged her. “If you hadn’t come, those Orcs would have eaten me!”

"You're welcome." Arianwyn spoke as she let the hobbit hug her. She let him have some time to calm down after the obviously distressing situation before speaking again: "Why are you so far from your Shire?"

“I don’t have any parents. And yes, an adventure! I’m retracing the steps of Bilbo Bagens himself! Before I’m done, I will walk in the halls of Erebor!”
