It was a sunny day at Sea. The wind was good and everyone was busy doing his chores. It was for your best, if you didn’t want to anger the Captain.

Though one little pirate was sitting on a barrel, sighing and clearly bored. Sandy Barbossa was an 8 year old little girl, with grey-blue eyes and shoulder long brown hair. She had a turquois bandana on, a white shirt and green breeches. On the ship she was always bare feet as it was much more practical and fun!

Since she had been a little toddler, the little one lived together with her father, whom she loved more than anything or anyone. A close favourite was Ragetti the wooden-eyed canoneer. As for Jack the monkey, Sandy could be very jealous at time when her father was caring for him. She also liked to tease him bow and then, but both mostly got along well like siblings.

Sandy was bored indeed and slipped down, deciding to go and see what her father was doing. So she sneaked into the Captain’s cabin, crawling to try not to be spotted. Maybe she could find a treasure!

Captain Barbossa walked up and down the deck of his ship, ready to yell and perhaps dole out punishments if anyone was not doing their jobs, or causing trouble. He was a pirate captain, perhaps the best in the Caribbean, and his success could be partially attributed to running a tight ship, but there was one aspect of his ship that was still often difficult to control, his daughter, Sandy. If any of his crew members caused even half as much trouble as she did, he would have tossed them over the side of the ship long ago, but Sandy was his daughter, and he wouldn't do that to her.

As he thought of her, he realized that the last time he'd seen her she was sitting on a barrel looking bored, and now she wasn't there anymore. That's never a good sign with such a mischievous child. He sighed and then yelled out, "Has any of you scallywags seen me daughter, Sandy?"

The crew all looked around but no one replied. Some of the crew was glad to have Sandy around as a breath of fresh air, some of them were tired of her antics. But for now no one was quite sure where she was. And so Barbossa yelled out, "Then don't be entirely useless and get back to work!" And everyone quickly resumed what they were doing before, as Hector Barbossa began to slowly stomp around the ship looking for where Sandy might have gone.

Sandy had crawled inside and saw her father wasn’t there. She stood and looked around. Hmm where could a treasure be!? She decided to have a look into her father’s sea chest.

She opened the chest and began rumaging around. Hmn clothes, maps, glasses....oh! She grabbed the little dagger. That was more like it! She smiled and swung it around. Of course she knew she was not supposed to touch weapons, she was after all a little child and not ready for that!

Barbossa walked around the deck for a few more minutes, but finally he decided to check his cabin. He had forbidden her from going into his cabin because she always managed to find trouble in there or she tried to steal something that he might be needing later on. He didn't mind her being a thief too much, they were a pirate family, after all, and taking things that don't belong to you is part of the business. But Barbossa had also learned the hard way over the years that some things are in a certain place because they're not meant to be disturbed, and that was the case with a few very sensitive items in his cabin.

He quickly opened the door, and looked around. He saw his sea chest was wide open... yes, this was where the little rascal had gone to. "Alright!" he said as he slowly walked toward the chest. "You know that you're not supposed to be in here by your lonesome, Sandy! If you be comin' out now, then I might be inclined to go a bit easier on yer' behind!" He walked over to look at his chest, and shook his head as he saw that a dagger was missing. That girl always had to take his most dangerous objects!

Sandy heard the door opening and crawled under the table. She saw and heard her father and uttered:”Promis’d? Maybe we can parlay!” She said. Tsk tsk, trying to bargain with her Captain Papa! And Barbossa of all pirates!

Jack the monkey was on his swing and jumped on the table, motioning to his master, where the rascal was. Just like a tattling sibling.

Barbossa quietly walked over to the desk and yanked his errant daughter up by the back of her collar to her feet and said, "And what might ye be offering me through this 'parlay'? It seems to me that the thing I want most is for me daughter to get a red bottom for defying me again and then goin about not defying me again for the rest of this voyage."

Sandy was yanked up and so surprised that she let the dagger fall. “Ow! Oh oh well ah lokkee papa! I found ye dagger!” She smiled at him all happy, though of course she was worried. “Besides me bottom is very sensitive!” She assured

Barbossa watched the dagger fall to the floor, glad that he'd recovered it before it got stuck in something or someone. "That's what I be countin' on!" he said as he gave her a swift swat to the bottom over her green breeches. He grabbed her by the back of her shirt collar and began to drag her out to the main deck of the ship and said, "If I be needin' help to find me dagger, I'll be infomin' ya. Until then, you stay out of me office unless I can watch yer every move!"

With that, he sat down on a barrel nearby and yanked her britches down to her knees, and pulled her over his lap for a good bare bottom spanking. She hadn't damaged anything this time so he'd just use his hand, but he'd better not catch her doing anything like that again soon!

Oh he was not happy at all! As they went out Sandy begged and pleaded but it was useless. Her breeches came down and she blushed as they were outside, with the crew nearby. As she was pulled over her father’s lap, she found herself in quite a familiar place as she looked down on deck. She tried to brace herself but it never helped much as her father’s boney hands were stingy! “Owiee! Ahieh! Ohoo papa!”

His daughter's cries and squeals never softened his punishments, but they could be a good sign that they were working! He began to smack his hand down on the right cheek and then the left, alternating back and forth a few times and then giving some good slaps right across the whole butt, his hand was large enough to do it.

He knew that his daughter would probably prefer to be spanked in private, but a good captain makes punishments public so that everyone on the ship can learn not to break that rule again, and one of the most important rules on the ship was don't break into the captain's quarters. Although he would probably punish most other crew members slightly differently, the message still got across that no one escaped punishment on this ship, and the extra embarrassment could also be part of the punishment. And so, his hand continued to leave red hand prints all over her "sensitive" behind.
