On the island of Menagerie, Blake was in her bedroom dressing herself. She had a busy week ahead of her, as she recently became the island representative. She tied her holster to her jacket and sheathed Gambol Shroud.

Once she was dressed she started to pack for the trip to Atlas. The people of Menagerie would need supplies if they are to assist with the growing threat that was the White Fang. A military-focussed province seemed like a good place to negotiate for this.

She folded and placed several matching outfits into her suitcase, along with some basic supplies and money. To her knowledge she was going alone on this trip. She rolled her suitcase over to her bed, and took a moment to sit down and relax.

As she had been resting on her bed, she'd hear a knock on the door that was firm and strong. "Blake, there is a man here to see you from the mainland. Purple hair, red eyes, anyone you know?" Her father asked through the door.

Downstairs the man was sitting a small table with tea as her mother was entertaining the guest. He was fit looking in an Atlas uniform, and was probably similar or a few years older than Blake.

Blake's ears perked at the firm knock on wood. She pondered for a moment at the description. It sounded somewhat familiar, but she wasn't sure. "Maybe, I'll be right out." She replied back.

She set her suitcase aside and stood up, checking herself in the mirror before she opened the door. She followed her father down the staircase and made her way to the kitchen. She walked in with a neutral expression, not recognizing the man. "Hello, you're here to see me?" She asked, getting a good look at him.

Standing up, while he was several inches taller than Blake he was still shorter than her father. "Miss Blake Belladonna?" He asked for a moment as he stepped up from the table.

"My name is Yin Xia Jin, it is a pleasure to meet you. I wanted to meet you before you left. There was a last minute change to the plans. We've received some troubling threats in regards to your life. The General felt it best to change the meeting places, and to provide you with an escort for more discreet travel." He offered to the woman with a bow of his head as he offered his hand to her. "You can call ahead to confirm, but the threats were both White Fang and Human related. There is a lot of interest in this island from many parties. It's my job to make sure you are safe and get to each meeting area."

Blake tilted her neck up to make eye contact, and nodded when he asked her name. "I see, it's nice to meet you too.." she started, "I suppose it makes sense that there are people looking to harm me now. I won't bother the general with a call, but could I maybe see your ID?" She asked him.

Looking over she saw the look of concern on her mother's face. She offered a reassuring expression, trusting her own abilities as well as an escort from Atlas, if he was legit.

"Of course." Yin had no problems showing three forms of ID to her and her father who was standing behind him being menacing. "You can be assured Mrs Belladonna, General Ironwood brought out the best. I was the top of my class every year." He assured the three of them.

"Besides, if I failed it would look awful on myself and Atlas and you'd have a convenient scapegoat to blame wouldn't you?" He pointed out as her father scoffed and nodded that he'd be able to blame Atlas for it.

Blake looked over his many identifications, and smiled at his compliance. "Thank you. Are you sure you want to go through with this, though? I'm usually fine on my own, and I'd hate to put you in danger." Blake said, not meaning to sound as cocky as she did.

"Let's not fail, then." She added, "I wouldn't feel comfortable using you as a scapegoat." She admitted, leaning back against the kitchen table.

"That was more for your father than you." He chuckled as he looked at the woman in front of him. "As for being your bodyguard, yes I will be fine, also due to the security there are only five people who know the correct locations of the meetings. And I am the only one who knows all four meeting spots to ensure that if there is any traitors they'll be easy to spot." Yin explained as he took back his IDs. "I already have a ship for our departure."

Blake looked down and gave a short laugh. "Sounds safe then, are we leaving now? I can go get my bag, and you can fill me in on more details once we're on the ship, if we need to leave soon." She offered. "Maybe we should go over combat practice incase we run into trouble, seeing as we haven't fought together before?" She wondered out loud.

Yin would give her a nod. "I have no problems preparing and going over combat with you Blake." He grinned as he grabbed his bag. "We can leave as normal on the schedule but we have time together don't worry." He told the woman with a smile. "That's assuming you can get up from the butt whooping I'll give you."
