Sam sat waiting in the underwater train station, this was the link from the Island on witch BRC was to the outside world. BRC had been built due to the increase of juvenile crime. it was designed to place those at higher risk, or those who had committed minor crimes, a way out that didn't involve the justice system.

The Island had a 96% success rate, carefully matching students with a Mentor who acted as there 'parent' well here, they attended classes. played games, learned about new and exciting things, all well on a strict behavioral program.

Sam, at 30, was well built, a veteran of the Navy he had a small knick down his face, a reminder of a bad ejection from his F/A 18 fighter jet over the middle east. his hair was kept short, and he wore a simple polo shirt and loose fitting jeans with work boots, his eye's matched his hair in the shade of brown. the only thing that gave him away was that he wore an ID badge on his collar.

a rush of cool air told him the train was coming. so he stood up and wondered over to the platform to meet it.

A who looked on the verge of begining to leave her childhood behind stood there. Long gray jeans obviously skinny but they looked worn out, Just like the light gray hoodie above it. A team long forgotten of a year long past year probably a hammy down from someone out of pity but it was obvious she girl didn't care.


All she did was let her strawberry blonde hair was barely peaking out it a pixie in need of a trim but that din't seem to be on that girls plan.

Her chocolate brown eyes darted to something she was fiddling with in her pocket. She seemed to be jamming some cash in her pocket as a wallet laid splayed open not but fifteen feet from her.

She didn't seem concerned about that object only burying the contents she had into her pockets.

Sam spotted the girl as the train came in, there were only a few kids on the train, and he had her picture, walking over he stopped near her, "Hi. I'm Sam. I'm your Mentor." he said giving her a warm smile.
(little pick pocket isn't she?)

The blonde nearly jumped out of her seat when he spoke to her, she didn't think she'd be meeting him on the train she'd figure once the train was in the next location she'd find him after splurging on something for her self food wise with the cash. but her eyes narrowed when she heard the mentor thing. That's right the repeat offence thing... "R-Roxie. You seem to be early." she looked at a small device on her wrist.

No he was on time it seems. in fact he was to the point of there specified time to meet.

"You didn't think i'd meet you here?" Sam asked with a smile. trying to be polite.

Roxie gave a Solid Look at her feet before Glancing up at her new Mentor. "W-Well, Duh. It says meet at the upper Garden over the train station. she pulled out the crumpled up peice of paper from her pocket only to remember to give a hard stare at the fine print. "Or if you manage to find your 'Parent' beforehand please stay with them take the chance to get to know them..." The girls eyes soon traveled back to meet with the badge checking to see the number matched hers. It did why would it not if he knew of her then this was diffidently the one.

"Roxie, Just Call me Roxie. Not Roxanne Like my old family named me... and trust me no I don't like being Called Roxanne like it probably states...." She said as she slide more into her train seat.

"Well Roxie. It's nice to meet you." Sam said, it was fairly normal. according to his training, that children coming here would be defencive and stressed.

Roxie knew she had to keep her temper to her self she had to resist any urge to ask him why he was so chipper this early but everyone was ALWAYS This chipper if they had the time to ride the train. "Let me guess.... I would have gotten in some form of trouble had i chose not to meet you at the location at a on time?" A few of her her old street friends had been enlisted into the program. but none of them every seemed to have the guts to talk about their mentors. Roxie might as well make small talk though as she pulled down her hoodie. She had a bright neon green bandaid on her cheek and on her nose along with what looked to be a huge lack of sleep very obvious under her eyes.

"Anything you wanna ask me~~?" She tried to plaster on a sugary sweet smile, But it probably looked about as fake as her feelings did on this entire thing.

"Well I wanted to meet you just on the station so we wouldn't have problems." Sam said. honestly her look had him worried, he had to wonder when the last time she'd gotten some good sleep was? well, there was a little excitement planned but she would probably fall sound asleep after that... Probably... "How about we sit down and talk? get to know each other. If your hungry. we can get you something to eat." he offered. one way he'd learned that an easy way to get into a kids heart. was through there stomach's.

That did sound good, God It sounded really good.

Roxie gave a bit of a nod as she took him up on the meal of food. "Food is good..... I guess I wouldn't mind speaking to you if food was on the deal...." She watched someone obviously scrambling though their bag for something. AND THAT was her cue to begin pushing to start pushing Sam to the food cart.
