Naughty Maddie in Redwood Forest (for Maddison)

Sitting in her office one warm summer afternoon, Harriet Rattan gently sipped from her cup of tea as she looked out of her window into the backyard of her orphanage, as if waiting in anticipation for something to happen. The middle-aged woman had run her home for orphan girls for close on a decade and a half now, and whilst village life was certainly more agreeable with her than living in a hut in the middle of the woods, that wasn't to say that it didn't come with certain challenges of its own. For instance, whilst she felt that looking after an ever growing house of naughty little girls would be much easier if she could take them across her lap whenever she felt it necessary, the other residents of Blue Valley were staunchly against corporal punishment, which most likely explained why their children were as badly behaved as they were.

However, Miss Rattan was nothing if not resourceful, so after her first two years looking after her undisciplined charges, she decided it was time to put her previous twenty years of experience to good use, and apply a little witchcraft to resolve this issue. After taking a weeks holiday for herself, Miss Rattan had returned to her old forest home, where she had set about using her magic to transform numerous animals into intelligent humanoid creatures, having gotten the idea from a picture book she had found on one of her charges beds. She had then spent the rest of the week helping the animal people build their village and form their community, leaving them to their own devices once the work was complete, but not before promising that every family in the village would soon be blessed with a little girl in desperate need of plenty of love and discipline. This pleased the animals greatly, as Miss Rattan new it would given that she had giving them all an instinctual desire to have a little girl of their own that they could soundly spank whenever they saw fit.

As such, over the next thirteen years Miss Rattan had seen to it that over half of her charges had been taken to the animal village, writing numerous letters to their designated delivery man Mr Fox whenever she felt like she had a little girl who could use a loving home and a little bottom that would most certainly be kept red and warm to ensure that she didn't get up to any more mischief. As it happened, she was actually waiting for Mr Fox to come and collect another naughty little girl in her care, having told the rest of her girls to go out into town today to avoid anyone noticing when she was taken. The girl in question was named Maddison Marie, a child Miss Rattan had been caring for since she had found her in a basket on the front step of her orphanage, and whose six years of naughty behaviour had earned her a one-way trip to Redwood Village. She had told the girl that she was grounded for being caught trying to steal food from the kitchen, but she knew that she'd leave her room to go play in the backyard as soon as she thought she wasn't being watched. In fact, Miss Rattan was expecting it, which is why she smiled to herself as she sipped from her cup of tea again, looking directly into the hedge at the end of the yard where she could see two light brown pin pricks peering out from within. It appeared that Mr Fox was just as eager to collect Maddie as Miss Rattan was to see the child go.

Six year old Maddison, or Maddie as she liked to be called, tip toed to the door of her room as quietly as she could. Miss Rattan had caught her trying to sneak a cookie from the kitchen and sent her to her room and told her she was grounded for the day while all the other girls got to go out and play. Maddie liked Miss Rattan well enough, the woman had cared for her since she was a baby, but there were many girls in the orphanage and Maddie almost never got the attention she wanted from her. Instead she often had to come up with her own fun and adventures, and of course she loved sweets and tried to get a hold of them whenever she could. She knew she wasn't supposed to do such things, but she just couldn't help her self and besides the worst thing that ever happened was that she got sent to her room.


The blonde haired little girl listened quietly at the door for about a minute without hearing any sign of Miss Rattan. Maddie had also learned that even being grounded was no big deal, because all she had to do was wait for Miss Rattan to get busy with something else and then she could sneak outside to play. No one in the village would suspect a thing either because all of the other girls were already outside playing themselves. Once the coast was clear Maddie tip toed back across her room to the window that led to the back yard.


"Mmph!," she grunted as she lifted the window enough for her to climb out. The little girl was wearing a simple white top with a big pink heart on the front of it and a loose pink cotton skirt as she began to climb out of her window. Maddie squeezed through just fine but her foot caught on the window as she went to jump out. As a result she was stuck for a moment hanging upside down outside of the window except for her little foot stuck on the ledge. Maddie was unfortunately a little bit clumsy sometimes so this had happened once or twice before. The little girl began to wiggle and soon she tumbled out of the window and used her hands to catch herself. It was only a couple of inches and she landed on soft grass, so Maddie popped right up and dusted herself off. She stood up blushing a tiny bit and gave a quick look around to see if anyone had saw her while she was hanging upside down. She gave a sigh of relief as she didn't spot anyone. Maddie then spotted a stuffed bear on the ground and ran over and scooped it up. She began to play and chatter with the bear as she tried to decide what she wanted to do next. "I know Teddy lets go on a grand adventure!," she said excitedly speaking to the bear. "Oh yes of course we will keep our eyes out for sweets and maybe we will even find you some honey!" she told the bear as she pretended to have a conversation with him.

Having been sat in the same bush for almost an hour, Mr Fox had almost begun to wonder if the girl would come to the backyard like Miss Rattans letter had said, but when he saw one of the windows open and the girl that had been described to him climb out of it, he remained perfectly still and watched her carefully as she ran and picked up the teddy bear he had left as a trap for her, having known that any naughty girl would play with the first thing they saw regardless of who owned it. After waiting until the girls attention was completely upon the toy in her hands, Mr Fox quickly sprung from the bush and grabbed a hold of the childs ankle, whisking her up in an instant and leaving her to dangle above him, allowing her to get a good view of the large anthropomorphic fox that had just grabbed her, including his long vermillion coat and the large burlap sack he was holding in his free paw.

"Uh oh" he said in a playfully reproving tone, "looks like I've found another naughty little girl up to mischief". Seeing that he had momentarily stunned the child, he took the opportunity to open up the sack he was carrying and drop the girl into it, pulling on the drawstrings before slinging it over his shoulder and hopping over the hedge, making his way back up the hill he had come down to return to Redwood forest.

"Didn't Miss Rattan warn you about Mr Fox?" he asked, making his way through the woods as Maddie rolled around in the sack on his back, "I'm sure she must have, the fox who comes to take away naughty little girls who don't behave". When he said this, he felt Maddie calm down a little inside the sack, just as he knew it would. "That's right, you probably thought it was just some silly story she made up to make sure you didn't get up to mischief, but I've taken a lot of very naughty little girls you used to live with Maddison Marie, and now I'm taking you to the same place I took them".

As he said this, he saw he was reaching the entrance to Redwood Village, prompting him to smile and quicken his step. "Don't you worry though" he said kindly, waving to other animals in the street when they noticed the sack across his shoulder, as well the little human girls who pointed and called for others to see, wondering which of their friends Mr Fox had brought to the village this time, "all a naughty little girl like you needs is plenty of love and discipline, so I'm going to take you to a Mommy and Daddy who can give you both".

"Whoaaaa!," Maddie hollered in surprise when she suddenly found herself dangling in the air. Her green eyes widened as she saw what looked to be the face of a large fox, standing like a person and holding her in the air before her. She had never seen anything like this before and she was completely stunned, so much so that she didn't cry out again or even say anything as the fox also began to speak like a person and even seemed to be playfully scolding her. Before she could even argue that she wasn't naughty, or even start to squirm, the fox dropped her right into a large sack.


Maddie was still too stunned to be scared yet, and she figured that she had to be dreaming. "Ouchie!," she yelped as she reached around and pinched her own bottom to wake herself from this crazy dream. Everything remained dark though, and nothing changed and Maddie slowly realized she wasn't dreaming. Maddie immediately began to struggle and tried to find a way to get out of the sack. She was just about to scream when she heard the fox's voice asking her if Miss Rattan had ever warned her about Mr. Fox. The girl paused and stopped kicking as she thought about this, and wondered how the fox could possibly know that. The fox then reminded her of the story that Miss Rattan did often tell and she slowly began to wonder if it really could be true. Was she really that naughty? Maddison found herself nodding as the fox continued by saying that she probably had thought it was a silly story to keep her from doing things Miss Rattan said not to. She was surprised when the fox used her name and told her that he had taken many girl that she had lived with before.


Maddie shook her head in disbelief and began to talk loudly back making sure the fox could hear her through the sack. "Nuh uh, Miss Rattan said they got adopted not that Mr. Fox took them! And I'm not naughties!," she argued. "You are naughties! You are stealing me and I want to go home!," she demanded. She was a little surprised when the fox told her, not unkindly, not to worry and that all she need was love and discipline and that he was going to take her to a Mommy and Daddy that would give her both. Maddison was just about to start struggling again when she heard that. "Really?," she asked quietly as she began to think about how nice it would be to have a Mommy and Daddy all to herself.

"That's right" said Mr Fox, walking up to a small cottage at the edge of the town as he spoke to the little girl in the sack, "you're going to get to meet them very soon, I'm just walking up to your new home now". Once he reached the front door, Mr Fox knocked on it neatly and waited patiently until it was opened seconds later by a she-bear with caramel coloured fur and a floral apron who beamed down at Mr Fox, as both she and her husband had been expecting his visit.

"Good afternoon Mrs Bear" Mr Fox said in a friendly tone, "I've got a very special delivery for you and your husband, I don't suppose he's home is he?". "He's in the living room" Mrs Bear said brightly, stepping aside and gesturing for Mr Fox to enter, "why don't you come inside? I'm sure he'll be just as happy to see you as I am". " Accepting the invitation with a smile and anod, Mr Fox entered the Bears home and made his way along the hallway to the living room, seeing the hickory furred Mr Bear in his shirt and suspenders reading in his armchair by the fire as he walked into the room.

Looking up from his newspaper, Mr Bear also beamed when he saw Mr Fox setting the sack over his shoulder down onto the living room floor, before placing his newspaper to one side and getting up to walk over to the delivery man and offer him a hearty handshake. "So" he said happily, nodding towards the sack as he spoke before turning to look down at it with his wife, "I don't suppose there's a little someone in your sack who'd like to say hello to her new Mommy and Daddy?". "I suppose we'll have to see" chuckled Mr Fox, kneeling down and undoing the drawstrings of the sack, whereupon he stood back up and looked down at it with the other two bears, as they waited for Maddie to emerge.

Maddie sat quietly in the sack and thought about what Mr. Fox told her. Soon she would have new Mommy and Daddy, that was kind of exciting even if this whole experience had been a little scary. "Are they a nice Mommy and Daddy?," she asked as she didn't have much else to do while she traveled in the sack.


Soon Maddie could hear a knock on a door, and then friendly voices speaking. She listened closely to the voices but it was hard to hear them through the sack and she couldn't really make out any of the words she was hearing very well. It wasn't too much longer though before Maddison felt her little bottom bump the ground and light poured into the sack. She blinked her green eyes a few time, and then slowly stood up, letting the sack fall around her. "Mommy? Daddy?," she asked as she began to look around the house.


Maddie wrinkled her nose as she spotted Mr. Fox. "Don't put me in theres again!," she scolded him and wagged her little finger at him. She then continued to look around and her eyes widened as she spotted a bear in a floral apron and another bear wearing a shirt and suspenders. "Wow your big!," she exclaimed and instinctively began to back up a little. She forgot about the sack around her feet and tripped back landing squarely on her little round bottom. "Owiee," she murmured as she stood back up with a bit of a blush and then reached back with one hand under her skirt to rub her bottom. "Mr. Fox said I was going to have a new mommy and daddy. Are you my mommy and daddy?," the little girl asked timidly, still not sure of what to make of this whole situation.

When the girl stood up out of the sack and looked up in surprise at the bears, the smiled down at her with a mixture of pride and adoration. The girl was even cuter than had been described in Miss Rattans letter, with baby blonde hair tied in bunches and two big green eyes that stared up at the bears with a mixture of shock and confusion. "That's right sweetie" Mrs Bear said tenderly in response to the child's question, reaching down and lifting Maddie up to sit her in the crook of her arm, where she began affectionately petting her head, "Miss Rattan told us what a naughty little girl you've been, so now me and Daddy are going to see to it that your brought up to be a well behaved young lady".

Whilst Mrs Bear spoke to the child in her arms, Mr Bear thanked Mr Fox for his delivery and waved goodbye to him as he walked back to the front door, given how the delivery man had a little girl of his own who was probably waiting for her Daddy to return, no doubt standing in the corner with a red bare bottom on show, as she often was when he returned from work. "Alright" called out Mr Bear happily, taking Maddie from his wife arms and giving her nose a playful prod, "now that you're finally here, I think it's time for Daddy to give you a proper welcome home warming". With that, he carried her over to the armchair he'd been sitting in previously, sitting back down in it before lying Maddie across his lap and resting a paw on her upturned bottom, keeping another on her back to keep her from wriggling off his lap.

Maddie was a little scared as Mrs. Bear reached down to pick her up, but she quickly settled as Mrs. Bear very gently tucked her into the crook of her arm. "Oooo soft!," she cooed as her little hands reached out and touched the fur on Mrs. Bear's arm. Maddie smiled up as she felt her blonde hair being affectionately stroked and petted. Her smile quickly transformed into a frown though as she wrinkled up her face when Mrs Bear told her that Miss Rattan told them that she was a very naughty little girl. "I'm not naughties," Maddie disagreed and shook her head back and forth to emphasize this. "Miss Rattan is mostly nice but she is always too busy so she doesn't know," Maddie explained and began to nod her head up and down to show that she agreed with this statement much more.


Maddie's green eyes widened again as Mr. Bear returned the room and then took her from Mrs Bear. Again she was a little scared as both bears were very large compared to her and only a few minutes ago she never would have believed there animals that walked and talked and even acted just like people. But she quickly settled and even giggled when Mr. Bear took her gently as Mrs Bear had and even playfully prodded her nose. "Heyyyy!," Maddie squealed with a playful giggle. She was actually thrilled by all the attention she was receiving as it was very hard to come by at the orphanage especially if you weren't doing something against the rules. Maddie smiled innocently as Mr Bear announced that it was time to give her a proper welcome home warming. She had no idea what that meant but it certainly sounded like a nice thing. "Whats that?," she asked inquisitively as she was carried to the armchair.


Maddie was a little surprised when Mr Bear suddenly laid her face down over his large lap. The little girl fit just perfectly over his knee it seemed. It took her a few moments to even realize that one of Mr. Bears paws was resting on her back and the other on her round little upturned bottom. She slowly realized she couldn't really move freely in this position and naturally she began to squirm. "Heyyy!," she giggled again thinking that they were playing some kind of new game. Maddie laughed and giggled as she tried to twist, wriggle, and squirm her way off of Mr. Bear's lap but quickly found herself unable to do so. Of course that didn't keep her from trying or from wiggling her little bottom all over as she tried to make her playful escape.

Both Mr and Mrs Bear chuckled when they saw the girl begin to wriggle across her new Daddies lap, with Mrs Bear taking a seat on the couch as she watched her husband begin to speak to the child. "Now then" he began, beginning to gently pat Maddie's upturned bottom as he spoke, "from what I've heard you've been getting up to quite a lot of mischief, Miss Rattan's told us all about your naughty little antics, and how you were never properly punished for them". As he said this, he briefly looked up and gave her a knowing smile, which she returned as she patiently waited in anticipation for what was about to happen.

"But now you've got a Mommy and Daddy who can see to it that you are properly punished whenever you misbehave" he said, giving Maddie's little bum a gentle rub before lifting his paw up high, "and that's exactly what Daddy's going to do, you've been a naughty little girl Maddison Marie, and naughty little girls get smacked bottoms". Wasting no more time, Mr Bear brought his paw down firmly upon the seat of Maddie's little pink skirt, repeating the action again and again as he slowly built up a steady smacking rhythm. Mrs Bear meanwhile watched the scene unfold with an approving smile, glad to see that little Maddie was finally receiving some proper discipline from her new loving Daddy Bear.

Maddie looked up at Papa Bear and Momma Bear curiously as she heard them chuckling and tried to figure out what the joke was. She settled, for a few moments at least, when Papa Bear began to gently pat her little upturned bottom and spoke to her. She wrinkled her face as he told her that he had heard about her naughty antics from Miss Rattan and that she had never been properly punished for them. "Uh huh, I got grounded like all the times!," Maddie protested and then began to wiggle and squirm even more energetically than before as she didn't much care for the sudden turn of this conversation.


Maddie smiled, for a moment, when Papa Bear told her that she now had a Mommy and Daddy, as that was something she was very happy about. She wasn't so happy to hear she was going to be punished again though. Still she settled down again, and even lifted her hips a little as her new Daddy bear began to gently rub her bum over her skirt. She liked the warm feeling of that and she looked back at her Papa bear with a little pout when he stopped and when he told her that she was a naughty little girl and that naughty little girls got smacked bottoms. Having grown up in the village thus far in her young life Maddie had no idea what a smacked bottom was though so she didn't protest.


"Ooo!," Maddie squealed as she quickly jerked back around after Papa bear brought his big paw down on her little bottom for the first time. Maddie froze over her papa bear's lap as her bottom began to tingle and sting strangely. "Ooh!," she squealed again as Papa's paw landed again. This time the stingy sensation was definitely uncomfortable and Maddie was starting to begin to understand what a smacked bottom would be. She quickly began to squirm and wiggle with all of her might as she tried to find a way to escape this unpleasant new form of punishments. "Ow!," she cried out softly as she was smacked again. Maddie looked over at her new Mama Bear with a pleading look in her green eyes, thinking that maybe she would save her from Papa Bear. "Mommy helps! Owie!," she pleaded as Papa smacked her wiggling little bum again and then again. "Daddy that's stingy and owie!," Maddie protested as she did her best to describe what her first smacked bottom was feeling like.
