Selena Kyle Wayne was just exiting the offices of Wayne Industries when she got a call from her new adopted son's school.

"He did what? Oh god. No, am on my way."

"Anything wrong?" Asked Lucius Fox, CEO of the company. He was worried as Bruce Wayne was out of the country for a month, leaving his wife with a lot of office work, not to mention raising their new son.

"No, just got a call from Dick's school, have to be there now." She said, getting into her sports car and driving to his school.

Dick had a crestfallen look on his face as he was feeling that he was waiting for the inevitable. The principal had notified his adopted mother on what he had done. He had witnessed a boy a couple of classes over him bully one of his own classmates and he had used the martial arts training that he had learned from Bruce and Selena to beat up the older boy. The dark haired boy had a pout on his face when he saw Selena. " Mom, I know you`re dissapointed...but I did it do defend my friend..." he said softly.

Selena had gone straight to the Principals office where she was shocked to learn that Dick had been beating up his classmates. "This sort of behaviour is not tolerated at our institution. Richard will be suspended if he does this again. Please take care of this, Mrs Wayne."

Selena nodded and left the room to meet her son with a sad pout. She heard his statement about only fighting to help his friend. "I don't care, Dick. You left two boys bruised and with a bloody nose. We will 'discuss' this matter back home. Go get in the car." She said, following him.

" Mooom...please don`t..." Dick whined at the lithe female as she motioned for him to get in the car. He nevertheless complied, though, since he knew that he couldn`t escape what the powerful female had in store for him. " I bet that you and dad would`ve done the exact same thing if you were my age..." he said softly as they were driving back to the Wayne mansion.

"We most certainly would not!" Selena said/lied (Bruce wouldn't/she definitely would have). "We taught you martial arts for self defence-not to hurt people. Not to mention that you took it too far.

" Yes, you so totally would have. God, this is so totally unfair..." Dick stated and huffed as he glared up at the tall, dark haired female. He gave a heavy sigh at her statement. " I suppose that I`m going to get my ass beaten, right?" the young crime fighter asked his adopted mother. He didn`t seem to care that he had just uttered a bad word.

"Language, Dick!" Selena glared at her son. "And yes, you are getting a spanking. A hard one with the hairbrush, seeing that you have hurt a person and it deserves a painful correction."

Selena always took care of spanking her son. Dick had learned quickly what would happen if he tried to cross her but he would still make mistakes often.

" What? I didn`t say anything bad, mom." Dick stated and huffed once more towards the strong female. His defiant attitude was slowly starting to change when he learned what he was sentenced to, though. Another pout showed on his face. " Fine...I accept it, mom. Can we please get it over with?" the boy asked as they were now outside of his room.

"Yes you did. Bad language will earn you a sore bottom from now on. You got extra for that." She said as they reached Wayne manor.

She got out and follows him up the floor. He was visibly nervous now. "No, I want you to go to the corner and think about what you did wrong."

She led him to her and Bruce's room, where she usually punished him. She quickly changed her outfit from her suit to a black tank top and comfortable shorts before going to the dressing table to get the hairbrush. "Okay Dick, turn around."

" God damn it..." Dick muttered under his breath at what Selena told him. The boy trotted over to the corner and waited for what would undoubtedly be some very uncomfortable moments for him. He gulped as he turned around and saw the dreaded instrument in his mother`s hand. He felt a lot less brave now than before. He walked up to the woman and stood in front of her, but he could not muster up the strenght to look up at her since he was so nervous. " I`m sorry for what I did, mom..." he said softly.
