Inuyasha: Kagome's Punishment (for Bare Harold)

The group had stopped by a lake to rest, and things were still tense between Inuyasha and Kagome. They weren't even fighting, Inuyasha in fact wasn't speaking to her at all.

It had all started earlier that day when Koga had paid Kagome a visit. He and Inuyasha had fought, but then Kagome had used the sit command that sent Inuyasha crashing to the ground. Only this time Koga didn't just leave. Instead he put his foot on the back of Inuyasha's head, pinning him down.

"This is were you belong half-breed, in the dirt under a true demon's feet." He'd sneered. "Even Kagome thinks you are nothing. She doesn't respect you. You're nothing but her slave."

Koga ran before Inuyasha could get up, and when he finally did he gave Kagome a glare that sent shivers down her spine. Then without a word he turned and began to walk.

Now it was nearly night, and he still hadn't said a word to her.

After half a day of the two not talking to each other Kagome was starting to get tired of Inuyasha's childish act. To her, she believes that Inuyasha was being too stubborn to just let what happened earlier go. Right now everyone was finishing dinner and Inuyasha was acting like he didn't need food. Eventually, Kagome had enough of this as she stands and faces the half-demon. "Inuyasha, when are you do to drop what happened earlier and come eat?" Kagome questioned.

Inuyasha stood and glared at her. "Yes master." He finally said, going to fish some distance away from the others.

"Kagome," Sango began. "Maybe...maybe you should apologize to him? Tell him you do respect him?"

Seeing he was still acting childish Kagome scoffs and turns to rejoin the others. Upon being questioned by Sango Kagome pouts. "No way He just acting like this because of that stupid rivalry between him and Koga. He's the one who started the whole thing, not me." Kagome defended as she continues to eat.

Inuyasha didn't come back until it was nearly night. Even then he refused to speak to Kagome, giving her the cold shoulder.

Kagome returns the treatment back. She wasn't the one who started this so she didn't feel the need to apologize. She would just wait for the morning where Inuyasha would forget about it.

Later that night Inuyasha wasn't with the group. Kagome noticed he was standing some distance away.

She stops just behind the half-demon and sees him fiddling with something she couldn't really see what it was. "Inuyasha, what are you doing?" She questioned him placing her hands at her hips.

He turned towards her, showing the beads in his hand. Cuts were all over his neck from the struggle, but he had finally removed them.

Kagome was shocked as in the half demon's hands was the beads of subjugation. He had managed to take it off. "You removed the beads of subjugation?" She questioned looking at the remains of the necklace.
