In Hyrule, in his own tree house, the hero of the land went to check on his brother. Of course, he wasn't his brother biologically but adoptive. He was his younger form from the second tournament, Melee, amd seeing that he didn't want to go back to the past due to absence of parents, he and his girlfriend, Princess Zelda, took him under their wings. He saw that he wasn't there and went outside to see a portal that was summoned by Zelda for Young Link to travel to the Smash Mansion to catch up with old friends with Ness and Popo and Nana.

Currently, Young Link was roaming through Peach's castle, having used a portal from the mansion to there. He wanted to see how similar it was to his brother girlfriend's one.

Of course Young Link's entry into the castle was not unnoticed by the numerous Toads apart of Peach's guard. And while some only knew of his existence due to the tellings of their princess and the Mario Bros. at certain Smash tournaments, all were equally confused of his presence.

Although, considering his good allegiance they let his roam, at least for now, for most were a little too busy with their current duties to address why he was there, at least for now, but as long as the boy wasn't causing trouble...

It didn't seem like the best decision, but then again, the Toads weren't the best at decision making.

The younger form of the hero walked through the corridors, seeing that most of it was was, well, pink. A fan of pink, of course, was the princess. But he was only seeing how different this was compared to the castle of Zelda's.

A few minutes later, he saw a few pots and then a big grin crossed his mind. There were lots! To break! With money!

So, what did he do? Why, grab one and throw it to the ground, producing an everlasting crash.

"...!! What are you doing..?!" came the shriek of a Toad guard who just happen to pass by the corridor as Young Link threw a pot to the ground and shattered it. He just happened to have his spear on his too, which he quickly gripped tightly. "That's priceless fine china you just destroyed! What's your problem...?!"

When he yell surfaced, multiple other guards began to arrive on the scene. Now most of them barely came up to blonde boy's chest, but they would make up for their lack of stature in numbers.

"What?!" Link looked in shock as the little mushroom man came up and scolded him. "Uhm...?"

Fine china? Psssh, she could buy that again. She's a princess, so she could always buy another one. The little Hylian saw other others come to surround him and already he feel like he was going to be in a heap of trouble. And what made it worse was there wasn't any money in the pot. Just the shards that were what's left of the broken pot.

All of the guards surrounding the boy soon pointed their spears at Young Link. "You're in big trouble kid..." said one of them.

"Now now, boys...at ease..." came the voice of an elderly mustachioed Toad, who pushed up his glasses upon arrival. Toadsworth's arrival caused all of the guards to back down instantly as if the princess was in their presence, but to be fair, with her royal attendant nearby, it was most likely that she was en route.

Once the way was clear, Toadsworth now caught a good glimpse of the boy who was causing this commotion and at his feet were the shards of the smashed pot. "So this is the cause of this rally...I don't think I've seen this young man before...hmph! Or should I say delinquent...! My boy, I hope you realize whose castle you've invaded and whose possessions you're destroying!"

"Toadsworth, you must relax..." came the sound of another voice, this time sweeter, and caused all of the guards in the room to bow in a line.

He took out his sword that he took in case of attacks, and backed up while holding it. "I don't wanna use this..." he warned them, though it looked like he would have to come with them. He couldn't fight these Toads! They weren't enemies or seen as evil, but they held him at spear-point.

Then, he saw an elderly Toad looked down at him scolding like how a stereotypical old man would scold a youth. "Listen, gramps, I, uh, I only wanted to see if there was money in there..." Whose castle was it? "I-isn't this the castle of..."

"Peach...?" There she was, followed by all bowing to her presence. Oh, he was in so much trouble. Now, the owner of this castle would know!

Young Link was right, for soon the princess herself made her presence know outside of the doorway, looking at the scene. "My...I haven't seen this one in a long while..." Peach said with a small smile. "How are you Link...?" she asked kindly.

Toadsworth eyed the young woman. "You know this boy princess...?" He asked. "Do you see this...? Those boy broke into your castle and destroyed your property!"

"...I recognize the situation Toadsworth...I'm not blind. But that doesn't prevent me from being polite, especially towards a friend." Peach said.

He instantly bowed one on knee, closing his eyes in fright. Oh, now he was going to get it. What would she do? Lock him up in the dungeons, or force him to write lines, or tell Zelda and Link of the vandalism? "I'm sorry! I didn't mean to! I only wanted to see if there was money inside!"

She... she's was nice? This was to be expected by someone who knew her. She IS quite cheerful and welcoming when out of fights, though she does show some of her demeanour in there sometimes. Opening his eyes in confusion, he saw the damage and winced. He stood up and stayed in his spot.

"Ah h! So not only were you breaking the china, but if there happened to be money inside, then you would steal it, you thief!" Toadsworth pointed out.

Peach gave a deep sigh. "Toadsworth, enough..." then her attention turned back to the little boy in front of her. "I'm not sure how you got here Young Link...your presence isn't unwelcome, but your actions were..." she scolded.

She turned to her men. "I'll handle this..." she said. "Return to what you were doing before..."

"Yes ma'am...." the Toads then began to disperse.
