Twin Trouble
Ashley opened her eyes. The room was quiet except the occasional sound of computers running. She turned her head and saw an almost perfect mirror image of her self laying on a examination table. The only real difference between herself and her twin sister was their hair. Gina's hair was long and dark brown while Ashley's was shoulder length and multi colored. Blue at the top blond in the middle and red at the bottom. The day's previous events came back to her, the cells, the trial, even the last moments before she was rejuvenated. She could even still hear her sister in her mind softly crying.
She sat up and said quietly, "hey, Gina wake up." Her sister stirred and opened her eyes. She looked over at her own almost perfect reflection and tried to smile. It almost broke Ashley's heart. Gina picked up on this and said, "Don't worry Ash, we'll be fine." The two had been alone in the world for quite a few years and were inseparable. They had been extremely lucky too be allowed to stay together. The psychologists though it would be easier to rehabilitate them together as the stress of being apart would only make things more difficult.
There crime was kidnapping, and while no one got hurt it was still a serious crime. 5 cycles 8 to 14 was their sentence.It wasn't long before they were checked out and taken, a little unsteady on their feet out into the waiting room to meet their new guardian.
