Yellow Pearl hurried through the empty corridors as fast as she could. “All this technology but I still need deliver important messages personally…” She muttered to herself and almost ran into an Amethyst-guard who had seemingly appeared out of nowhere. To be honest, she could have been back by now, but the young Pearl had been too busy secretly paying a certain other pearl a short visit behind both their Diamonds back. The two Diamonds weren’t aware that their Pearls were involved with each other, after all a Pearl was supposed to ONLY love their owner and nobody else. “I need to hurry…” She was getting really late now and Yellow Diamond didn’t like lazy or inefficient gems.



“M-My Diamond?! I have returned.” She immediately bowed deeply while trying to catch her erratic breath, hoping the huge tyrant would be too busy with work to care for her Pearl wasting time with a simple message delivery job. “Blue, you own me for this if I get in trouble…” She mumbled to herself.

[Aymer]

The massive matriarch turned from the screen she was viewing to eye her Pearl. "Pearl. You have been gone for seventeen minutes and forty-two seconds. That is six minutes longer than it usually takes for you to warp to the Blue court and back. Do you care to explain to me this delay?" Yellow Diamond, contrary to what her Pearl believed, was very much aware of her infatuation with a certain azure gem from her counterpart's court. She had not commented on it, as it had yet to impact her performance. "I don't suppose you made any... stops along the way that I did not sanction?"

Placing a hand on her screen, she opened a holo-conference with her fellow Diamond on the other side of the Planet. "Blue. My Pearl has just been dispatched to deliver a message to your court, and she took far longer than usual. Do you happen to know why?" Unmistakable from the other side of the recording was the sound of a blow landing, followed by a yelp. Though she wasn't present on the screen, Yellow Diamond knew that off camera Blue's Pearl was getting her own due, for being late returning to her Diamond if her suspicion was correct.

Yellow Pearl’s skin was suddenly as pale as it hadn’t been in a while. Her Diamond was clearly upset with her performance and that usually ended very badly for her. She felt the need to bow even deeper, so deep that her back started to hurt a bit. “N-No, m-my Diamond!” The small servant gulped nervously and tried to think of a reasonable explanation for her delay. “Of course I didn’t make any… stops.” She lied straight into her Diamond’s face.

“One second, Yellow. I’m a little bit… busy.” Replied the other Diamond and the sound of another blow could be heard. Then another one followed and only then showed the impressive gem her face on the screen. “Of course I know why, she’s late because your pearl and my pearl were a bit too busy being ‘friendly’ with each other!” Blue Diamond didn’t sound amused at all and in the background Yellow Pearl gulped again. Busted.

[Aymer]

Yellow Diamond nodded, returning her attention to her cowering Pearl. "No stops, hmm?" The anger in her voice was clear, and her eyes looked over the small servant with a glare that would have meant death for just about any other gem. "Thank you Blue. I will deal with the situation on my end, just as I see you are dealing with yours." She dismissed the screen with a wave of her hand, and before she could react, seized her Pearl in one massive fist, bringing her to eye level. "Disobeying orders. Illegal fraternization. Lying to my face! How dare you! Were you just about any other gem, I would have you shattered!" She released her grasp on the Pearl, allowing her to fall to the floor in a heap. "Luckily for you, I have neither the time nor patience to have a new Pearl made and trained. So we will deal with this without shattering. Have a Correction Officer come here at once, and make sure her schedule is clear."

The next blow came with the same astounding force as the last ones, but Blue Pearl kept her composure. To lose her composure would be to bring even greater dishonor on her glorious Diamond, if that was possible. Oh, how foolish and idiotic she was! Her brief, ecstatic meeting with Yellow had hardly been worth this. Her Diamond rarely punished her personally; her thrashings were usually handed out by the appropriate officers like any other court gem. It was only when she had gravely disapointed her that her Diamond saw fit to beat her with her own hand. The next blow of a finger slammed against her rear, but she kept her hands clasped in front of her as she lay over the Diamond's enormous lap. "I beg your forgiveness, my Diamond."

Blue simply nodded and turned her own screen off to deal with her Pearl. „M-my Diamond!“ Yellow Pearl fell to the ground and winced, but tried to hide any kind of pain. She then immediately pressed her forehead against the ground to show submission by literally kneeling in the dust for her owner. She was well aware of the fact that the only reason she wouldn’t die today was that Yellow Diamond simply didn’t want to train a new Pearl and she was thankful for her status as a ‘Diamond’s Pearl’. “I-I’m so so sorry!” The poor pearl was shivering in fear. “I didn’t want you to find out about the… nature of my relationship with Blue Diamond’s Pearl. Please, don’t have me punished by a Correction Officer…!”


“I’m disappointed.” The Diamond said coldly. “I hope this ‘meeting’ was neglecting your duties and breaking the rules worth it, because I’ll make sure it won’t happen again.” The next swat followed, then another one. But then she suddenly put the little Pearl down without saying anything for a moment. “Get rid of your appearance modifiers. And bring me one of the ‘flat canes’!” She ordered. The flat canes were basically a mix of a ruler and a cane, but the advantage was that she could beat her Pearl much longer with one of them since she was less likely to poof.

[Aymer]

Yellow wheeled back around to face her prostrating Pearl. The anger shone through her eyes much more clearly now, and she had to restrain herself from poofing the Pearl outright. "You DARE presume to ask for clemency! And after all you have already done, after ADMITTING to keeping a secret from me, your DIAMOND! By all rights I should have you shattered! Press your luck no further, Pearl! Now go call the correction officer, now, or I swear by the stars that your backside will become the new training target for a thousand cycles of Correction Officers!"

In a flash, Blue Pearl stood naked in front of her Diamond. Most gems would feel great shame or embarrassment being so disrobed in front of their Diamond, but Blue had been in this state of undress in the court many times before. Besides, she chided herself, she was being punished for hiding things from her Diamond. Why should she be allowed to keep the supple curves of her body hidden? She brought a hand to her gem, retrieving the requested cane stored there for this exact purpose. She bowed low before her Diamond, presenting the implement. "The cane, my Diamond."

“Eep!” The pearl regretted everything she just said the moment her Diamond looked at her like she was trying to shatter her with just her eyes. “I-I’ll call them immediately!” She was barely able to talk, that was how nervous she was from saying the wrong thing again. Yellow Pearl almost jumped into a standing position and hurried over to the countless screens before pressing a few buttons. “T-This is…” She coughed to clear her tight throat. “This is Yellow Diamond’s Pearl. I have orders to send the Correction Officer to the main control room. Now!”


Blue Diamond also used this moment to take a closer look at her Pearl’s bare form to find out if her and Yellow Pearl had been a little bit ‘too friendly’ with each other. Luckily no visible kissing marks or anything, but the Diamond could understand why Yellow Pearl would find her blue comrade attractive. “Hand it over.” She ordered sternly. “Before we start with the real punishment, tell me why I need to punish you so severely. I want to hear it.”

Yellow Diamond turned back to her own screens in disgust. Her own Pearl! Her own Pearl, who she trusted with so much, going off and doing something like this! It incensed the Diamond, making her the kind of angry she usually only snapped out of after she had ground someone to shards under her heel. Still, she didn't want to shatter her Pearl. On the one hand, there was the practical reasons. But on the other, though she would never tell a soul, she held some sympathy for her. She thought back to thousands of years earlier, when she and Blue had had their own secret affair behind White's back... or so they thought. Painful memories surfaced, but she pushed them down to focus on the task at hand.

The lithe Pearl walked to her Diamond, presenting her the cane with outstretched arms. Turning, she bent over, neatly folding herself in half and presenting her already-darkened buttocks. "I illegally fraternized with Yellow Diamond's Pearl. I let this fraternization impact my duties. I lied to you about my relationship with her. I lied to you about my whereabouts. I kept her from her duties. I did not uphold the honor of your court. Please, punish me for my transgressions. Thank you for your guidance and your mercy."

Suddenly the door opened and Yellow Pearl didn’t even need to turn around to know who that was. “M-My Diamond?” She barely talked loud enough to be heard. “The… the Correcting Officer has arrived…” She announced and saluted again. She didn’t want to give her Diamond any reason to get even angrier at her than she already was.

Blue Diamond nodded, she had her pearl so well-trained, she didn’t even try to get out of this punishment. “Exactly. Now, normally just one of those things would already earn you a severe punishment… which means I probably have to split your punishment if I don’t want to poof you.” She announced and tapped the pearl’s backside firmly with the implement. “The things I have to do to keep you in line…” She sighed and finally gave the small gem the first harsh swat.

[Aymer]

Yellow Diamond glanced over at the saluting Correction Officer, who looked nearly as nervous as her Pearl. With good reason. "Officer, you are her to deliver Class 3 punishment to my Pearl. You may use whatever implements you wish. I will tell you when to stop. Pearl, out of your station. Follow the Officer's instruction to the letter." The implied "or else" hung heavily in the air. The officer, once again saluting the Diamond, waited for the Pearl to come to her. She tapped a button on her own control panel, and block the size of a chair materialized on the floor. Sitting on it, she reached into the gem on her shoulder and pulled out a spoon-light implement made of metal. "Appearance modifiers off. Then come here."

The impact from the cane left a line of fire striking across the bare Pearl's backside, but she didn't flinch. To react to such a punishment was highly improper; she was so very fortunate that her Diamond allowed her to cry when she felt the need. She remained in her perfectly bent position, with only a view of the front's of her legs. "Thank you, my Diamond. I am sorry, my Diamond." She nearly wept at her Diamond's words. The pain was nothing to her; she had felt far worse in her life of service. But to think she had betrayed her Diamond's trust cut her to her core.
