Across many worlds a dark cloud loomed low to the ground and expanded out slowly but surely rising into the sky and across the landscape. All that was consumed by it sooner or later became paralyzed by it's effects whether mentally, physically, or enslaved, though there were some that were fighting back and attempting to hold the darkness's veil. However all their efforts were stopped and delayed. Now over the Mushroom Kingdom the darkness crept and among it, the leader of the shadows hunting down people. It was human looking but it lacked definition and features other looking like a large human male with red eyes. It was hunting and looking to capture more heroines to subjectate.

Across the Mario world, the princesses were unaware of the danger they were in as they continued their daily lives. Princess Peach was at her throne, watching as her roads ran around to try and serve her. Daisy always at her long dinner table ready to partake in a feast, Rosalina was preparing to get her Lumas to bed, Bowsette was relaxing at her throne as she was getting her bare feet rubbed and massaged by her minions and Mayor Pauline was preparing a speech to give to her people.

As they all were unaware of what was coming it would be the start where Peach was getting eclipsed first by the darkness as the doors to the castle were blasted open as shadow fighters entered to start attack and knock down the toads and any other protector as the darkness crept towards Peach.
