Want to get rid of the annoying adverts? The answer is simple. There are 4 levels of advertising on AnimeOTK:
Level 1: (Your Level, guests and members with 0-9 posts) has maximum advertising.
Level 2: (A user with 10 or more posts who has been a member over two weeks) have vastly reduced advertising (including removal of the large full screen closable adverts)
Level 3: (A member who has been registered over a month and has over 50 posts, or has a special account like "artist" or "writer" sees minimal advertising.
Level 4: (VIP Donators) receive no advertising.
All donators of $10 or more will never see an advert on our site again!

I'm a new member and I've been having a few issues:
1. I don't seem to be able to add an avatar or edit my profile. it always displays a message saying, "you do not have permission to access this page."
2. I have uploaded four of my drawings to the communal gallery, but every time I try to upload a fifth drawing, it tells me that it uploaded but it does not appear.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

There seems to be an issue with uploading pics to the galleries....??? It says its uploaded.. But nada, after 6 tiumes.

I’m having the same issue. For some pictures, everything works fine. For others, I have the same problem you described.

there are limitations to the probationary usergroup, these change after a short period.. best way to get past it is to participate where you can.
that said l know the limits are somewhat frustrating but given past spam bot attempts etc they are a small price to pay to keep both the site and its users as safe as possible against potentially malicious links etc.
