Looking around the burning remains of Beacon Academy, Pyrrha found no signs of her friends anywhere. Worried, she went further down the road, until she saw the figure that resembled Jaune and ran towards it.

As Pyrrha ran towards what looked like Jaune she'd soon find it was him but suspended by an strange rock going down into a hole from where what looked like an explosion took place. Getting closer she'd find others, her team and friends all in similar situations tied up, without their gear.

"Well well, aren't you the brave little heroine?" Cinder asked floating down behind Pyrrha.

Pyrrha turned around at the sound of Cinder's voice. "Did you do this? If you did, I'd appreciate it if you would release my friends" Pyrrha responded, keeping her guard up, just in case.

"They opposed me so they had to be dealt with. I'm really generous though after all they are still alive." Cinder warned with a snicker as she'd see some of them had been alerted to Pyrrha and Cinder's voices. All of them seemed to be gagged with something. "Though if you think you can beat me and free them you can go ahead. Or beg for their safety at my feet."

Cinder merely chuckled at the way she behaved there, she looked weak and she felt strong with the maiden's powers. Cinder would be quick to send out several waves of flames and her own obsidian glass like projectiles into the mix. Things that Pyrrha couldn't repel with her semblance.

"Damnit" Pyrrha muttered to herself and used her semblance on a few metallic pieces scattered on the ground in an attempt to counter the projectiles, which had mixed success.

Cinder however used her position and placement to keep up the attack but Pyrrha’s mixed results were going to force her to make a choice take a hit herself or risk her boyfriend and friends blind behind her from getting hit as well by the deadly attacks. “You aren’t worth my time now grovel and beg for my mercy!”

"If she keep this up, the others might get hurt. I have to finish her with the next attack" Pyrrha thought to herself, trying to strategize while fighting, which she was usually good at. However, this opponent didn't allow much room for that.

In her attempts to stop this with another attack. Cinder who had shown to be smarter or at the very least more powerful would send a larger attack at Pyrrha who had been in line with Jaune. It was not something she'd easily be able to stop and even as she did the first Cinder sent off another, and another at Pyrrha to force her into submission.
