2 New Text Choices Games [Get to Work] and [Get to the Concert

Hello, some of you may have played a game I published last year called Sarah Hooper's Choices. No new developments have been made for that game because when you make games with as many choices as I do, sequels are almost impossible because your character is so personally customized by the end of it. Today though, I've decided to present two new games! First, I'll present the shorter one (though it still has a lot of detail) called Get to Work: http://www.mediafire.com/file/32898j...Work.html/file

Get to Work is a game where you play a man named Andrew Smith who has 6 girls in his house (3 of them are his daughters, and 3 of them had to stay over at his house due to a variety of circumstances) and he has time to check up on 2 of them before he leaves for work. Most of this game is M/f with a possibility of a bit of f/f and even a little bit of f/m (just in one part) depending on what choices you make. Only one of the spankees in this game is 18+, and she is the only character that has the possibility of sexual intercourse. However, if you do not want any sexual options, having sex with her is not at all obligatory unless you directly pursue that path.

In the end, your objective is just to have a peaceful house while you're at work and hopefully try to be a good parent/guardian at the same time. Every time you reach an ending, your parenting skills will be evaluated, but that's all just for fun, don't take it too seriously. You can be called a good parent while whipping your guests' butts (which is not at all recommended IRL), so take any evaluations with a lot of salt.

I believe that Get to Work is a complete game and I do not think that you will encounter any errors while playing it, but if you do, please report them to me.

In Get to the Concert, I tried to see how much customization I could include, and it gets a bit crazy at times. You can customize almost every aspect of your character (well, your character is female, but other than that). Now, there are no visuals of course, but you can describe many details about your character, and sometimes the text and even your options might change based on your clothing choices, preferred music styles, age, and other factors. You can choose any age you want, but it is recommended that you choose somewhere between 13 and 22 for the game to make the most sense. There may be some options to have sex with certain characters, but the sex options are only available if you make your character 18+ (and they are still not obligatory if you don't want to use them.)

In Get to the Concert, you play as a girl who does not have very much money, but she needs to get some money to go to a concert, so you will go around and talk to (or possibly rob in some cases) different people to get money from them. You will probably get spanked at least once or twice along the way, possibly more than that. There are possible routes where you don't get spanked at all, but you will probably witness someone else's spanking even if you don't get your own. Most of the spankings in this game are M/f or F/f, but there are a few instances of f/f and f/m if you make the right choices at certain sections. In most cases you will be the spankee in this game, but there are a few cases where you can be a spanker or observer.

Now, Get to the Concert is my more recent project, and I think I've worked most of the problems out of it, but I wouldn't be surprised if there are still some errors in that game. That's why I labeled this release 0.9.1. I'm hoping the errors are all worked out, but I may make another release in the future if a lot of people report bugs that I can fix. If you get an error, please report it. But if you want to report errors in Get to the Concert, please don't just tell me, "I had an error" or "There was some weird text that didn't make sense". Please tell me details.

Tell me what type of problem you had, what the error message said (if any error message appears), what was the last choice you made before the error occurred, and preferably tell me about the decisions that you made in previous sections. Sometimes decisions that you made in previous sections can affect things that happen later on in the game, so the more details you give me, the more likely it is that I'll resolve the problem. Man i really wanna try this out but im currently in a situation where i dont have access to a computer for the next few days so i have to ask if there is a way to play it on iphone?

hhggff127: For some reason I have difficulties downloading it onto my phone as well. But it seems to be an issue with mediafire and certain cell phones, not with the files themselves. If you can temporarily download the files onto another device and email them to yourself or send them by bluetooth, that seems to resolve the issue for me.

EDIT: I found a workaround for the issue. It seems to be an issue between some web browsers and MediaFire. I switched to Firefox browser and it started downloading just fine. Honestly it's not a bad idea to have multiple browsers on your phone.

Just played Get to Work twice. Keep in mind I'm 90% sub and a guy, so I'm not really the target audience...

So far, I'd say this is some of the best writing in a spanking game. Although I'm "known" (or not!) as an artist, I'm actually a semi-retired writer so words are my "thing" more than art, really. I found the dialog believable, the descriptions fun, the world-building fascinating and the scenarios surprisingly believable.

I just pissed off to work the first time I played and was thrilled that the girls had wrecked the house as hoped. I was secretly proud, but spanked Miranda and Jun because they were a) old enough to know better, b) caused the whole damn mess, and c) I just honestly far prefer to spank older girls (I do wish Jun was a little older regardless, but that's personal preference). The spankings were nice, but I was even happier with the final lines I got: I *am* proud to be raising little monsters, thank you very much.

Second playthrough was the best, by far. I spent all the time with Jun. Not a single spanking was given, just a really nice and heartfelt bonding experience that made me want a *much* longer game with just her and her mom (who I of course want to be spanked *by*). Any chance of a sequel like that? Again, fantastic writing; I felt like I was playing a "proper" visual novel or adventure game there, and really felt a strong bond with Jun by the end of it. The ending was legitimately touching and cool, and really felt rewarding. Damn well done.

Third playthrough, I hung out with Miranda like a deadbeat. Noticed a bug, by the way: I was told that Miranda was better than I was because she spanked Jun for smoking... but that never happened! I quickly backtracked and found it *could* happen (if I strapped Miranda for smoking), it just didn't happen when I smoked and didn't spank or sleep with her.

I will try the concert one soon, but wanted to give some feedback on the first.... um... first.

PS I felt more emotion in that "bonding with Jun" ending than recently playing through the whole of the fucking The Last of Us 2.

EDIT: just tried the concert one a few mins before bed and had to stop because I was laughing too hard at trying to persuade dad with the most annoying noise in the world. Freaking awesome.

EDIT 2: replayed Get to Work one last time. "She's controversial, but you know what? She gets results." = best ending yet! I was *legit* proud of her so much on that last page. Spin-off game with Jenna, please?

Glad to hear you enjoyed it! Yes, I'm not a graphic artist myself, but I think Jun is probably still my favorite storyline out of Get to Work. I was trying to represent a broad range of ages which is why Jun was 13, but if I hear a lot of feedback from people saying they'd prefer the girls be older, I might make another game in the future focusing on older subjects. Who knows, I'm getting better at putting in different details and more customization, maybe I'll even make a game in the future that will let players choose if they are male or female, things like that.

I'll see if I can fix that issue you mentioned, maybe in the future I'll make another update. There are endings where Miranda might spank Jun, so there probably was a mix up somewhere in there. If there are no interactions with Jun, she will usually try to steal a cigarette.

I don't have any spinoffs planned just yet, I actually had some spinoff requests for my last game. I didn't make them mostly because there are so many possible different endings that I don't know if I could make a game that encompassed all of them.

Also, a little bit of info if you want f/m spankings (but there are minor spoilers here):

 

In Get to the Concert, bust into your male friend/boyfriend's room without asking for permission and make fun of him or get mad at him for masturbating. There will be an option to spank him. You need to give him a good hard spanking if you want it to actually hurt, otherwise he'll just laugh at you. Also, you can spank your best friend's much younger brother if you go talk to her mom after refusing to take a spanking for her or ratting her out to her mom.

I did find two errors in Get to the Concert.


FIrst, if you agree to be spanked by your friend's dad, the text will say that your friend helps you pull your panties down, even though she explicitly said (and the rest of the text assumes) that your panties remain up.



When trying to get money from your mom, if you ask where her purse is, then say that you just want to help her find it, and then admit that you're just looking for money, you get Error: <<if>>: bad conditional expression in <<if>> clause: buttspace is not defined when she tries to adjust your clothing or put you in position for the spanking or whatever.


Enjoying it so far, will have more thoughts once I've played with it more.
