Default Super-Problems (for Bombay)

It had been near half a year since Poison Ivy's failed attempt of taking over the world for the Green. Well, if it had actually been a failed attempt was up for debate if you consider Batman himself was unable to stop her — it was only his luck to find Harley Quinzel just as he was about to give up hope. You see, out of all villain partnerships around, the one shared by Ivy and Quinn was certainly the strangest one; whereas at first they might've seen each other as just partners in crime, over time their relationship grew into a bound of genuine friendship, to the point the two criminals truly cared for each other's well-being. Ivy even went out of her way to free her friend of her abusive relationship with the Joker two years earlier! It had been only after the Batman managed to convince Harley to talk her friend out of it that Ivy's plan of world domination was finally stopped. In her defense, Isley never meant to hurt anyone, and that's why in the aftermath of that event the cloak crusader made no attempt of arresting her... not that she (or Harley) would've allowed that to happen, of course.

Which brings us to the present day, five months later. Nowadays, Dr. Pamela Isley had become somewhat of a retired eco-terrorist, living at her apartment in Gotham. It should be no surprise to anyone to know she didn't live alone, though; currently, she shared that place with Harley... whatever that entailed! While at first it had been a lot of fun to have Quinn around, recently Pamela started to grow quite annoyed at some of her friend's antics, namely her inability to take anything serious. And though Isley was indeed aware about that trait of hers beforehand, something that should've been quite obvious had completely slipped her mind at first: to have two people living in her apartment meant twice as much work to keep it. It shouldn't have been that hard, if Harley actually took the time to do some of the work.

Speaking of, right now Pamela had just finished cleaning the apartment. The botanist couldn't even remember how many times she'd asked her roommate to do some task, but Harley either never remembered or never cared enough to actually do it. She was now looking for her partner, who'd seemingly vanished. Even though Isley tried not to seem upset, every time she called her partner's name it became harder to hide, mostly due to her. While she would rather avoid it, by now she also felt almost like she was dealing with a child. The woman certainly acted like one in a very consistent basis, although it usually was funny to see! "Harles? Are you there?!"

It's not that Harleen wants to ignore her new partner in crime, it's just change takes time and it's been so long since she's been her own person and her own boss, she doesn't know what to do now. Pamela specifically broke her out of listening to someone, but it feels like she's just replacing Mr. J with all these asenine orders. Water the plants that clearly hate her, clean the apartment that's clean enough, cook once in a blue moon even if everything she touches burns! She doesn't know what to think so her initial reaction is to run away and hide.

Luckily she has her own little oasis on the fire escape walk that leads right up to the roof. She'll never tell Pamela this is where she runs off to, but she has a sneaking suspicion Pamela is starting to get wise. Hearing her voice, a loud sigh escapes her lips as she takes in the cold night with sirens blaring. Sneaking in through a window covered with foliage, she popped out of seemingly thin air "You rang?" She said showing the anger and distraught in Pamela's voice went straight over her head "Woooooooow, someone's been a busy bee. Doesn't it feel good to do something for yourself?" She commented on the clean house "You should do it more often!"
