(((This is not a new version- There isn’t any new content added))), it’s just providing one link for the game with its minor fixes, instead of having the old link to original game, and another for the fixes within the ‘data’ file, and then the need for downloading that new ‘data’ file and replace the old with the new one, (I also used 7-zip for compressing, so the file is reduced in size-- from 744 MB to 685 MB). I’d like to thank [Shiro.kun, spiderx, unfvckable] for pointing out bugs that were fixed, and other members who left their valuable feedback in comments here, and also everyone who played the game– Thank you very much.

~~About~~
* SpanQuiz is a mini game that features a collection of 300 questions, and a lousy attempt to provide context to submitting them to the player!
* There are three levels with 100 questions each, divided into four categories of 25 questions. The player will choose two of the categories at each level. ((– so a straight up playing will have 150 questions in total.))
* To get to the next level a minimum amount of correct answers is needed, and it varies based on the level.
* To keep things mildly interesting a reward and a punishment can be unlocked at every level - or alternatively the player can demand to be *paid*, or a chance to turn the tables on the examiners by collecting excellency certificates to exchange them for spanking rights later in the game.
*There are many references to words, images, sounds and videos of creators in the context of a question. If the owner of any of those would like me to remove them, I’ll gladly do so, and I apologize for any inconvenience.

Godspeak’s tutorials on RPG Maker’s games were essential in the making of this game. Also I’d like to express gratitude and appreciation to his excellent games, and the laying of the foundations that sparked the SpanQuest, and the subsequent SpanQuest DX games (my favourite spanking games, if the title isn't an indication enough!), by Bagool and Banjo respectively– and probably many of the games since made by other AOTK users.

The list of creators, artists, and authors whose works inspire this mini game is too long, some of those creators are the answer of many of the questions in the game itself, so there is that!... But I’d like to collectively thank the heroes and heroines expanding the ‘spanking realm’ with their creativity, and talent– Thank you very much.

~~Spoiler~~
To avoid repetitive play to an extent, the fireplace/chimney at the first map can unlock choosing the level, score, and items of the game. To avoid it being too obvious, it needs to be ‘toggled?’ (The MC needs to stand in front of it, and then ‘Enter’ or ‘Z’ should be pressed) ten times to access that choice list. At the end of every level’s quiz the score is reset back to zero, so another ‘toggling’ of that fireplace is in order, to reassign the score if needed be.

* Fixed a bug where the 23rd question in the second category of the third level [These questions where asked by?] wouldn't show unless the meaningless 'Replay?' option of the previous question is chosen (but then the total answers will still be 24, instead of 25), so that all questions are asked and answerable! * Fixed a bug where the Second Level's First Category's result is shown as zero no matter the actual result when the quiz is retaken and the examine is Layla (Thanks to spiderx for pointing it out.)

* Fixed a dialogue error, where the First Level teachers state the punishment threshold as 15 instead of 10.

* Fixed a profile error where the 2nd level teacher's profile doesn't appear correctly when being spanked.

* Fixes a bug where the 3rd Level's punishment by Albert is stuck due to wrong player's route. (Thanks to Shiro.kun for pointing it out.)

I wasn't expecting a full on academics lesson here, but fuck that was a ride. How did you come up with those questions anyway? incredible work in my opinion, just wish there was an easier way to find out the information being asked.

I tried it quickly to see how it plays and I already like it. I can't play with it. congratulations for the great idea.
and maybe when it is complete I could try to translate this into Italian too ... with your permission of course.

At lv3, I chose 1+2, but I realized it only have 49 question, and I need 48 corrct to get the pefect, I prtty sure the problem is at the 2nd part, is that a bug? Or just forgot to put the last question in?

I was going to upload the project as well, so the text would be “copy-able”, and the correct answers can be checked without a need to replay until it’s chosen. I may do that later. For the time being, the names of the images in the ‘www\img\pictures’ folder, and sound clips in the ‘www\audio\se’ folder, and the video clips in the ‘www\movies’ folder– those names mostly contain the correct answers in them.

I’m afraid it’s complete (more or less, it needs a lot of polishing, and bug-fixing), but it won’t be expanded content-wise, I think.
Like I said, I intend to upload the project folder soon (after some fixes are done, I’d assume), and anyone wants to expand or translate them are more than welcome to do so; I’m giving a blanket permission here. The categories --with the exception of the first two, I think -- are very ‘mod-able’: Just change the question and choices, and copy the ‘right answer’ common event under the right choice and the ‘wrong answer’ common event under the wrong ones, and it’s done!

It’s a bug, thank you very much for pointing it out– The question is there, it’s just won’t show because the previous question [the only blogger .....] has the format of an audio-based question (with a meaningless "replay?" option!) and therefore its answers has a ‘break loop’ in them- without a loop being prompted, this broke the loop of the next question without even being asked yet (which is an audio based question! And one that doesn't show in this version, unfortunately)

Long story short: You’re being asked only 24 questions in the second category of the third level; I'm so sorry for that inconvenience...

~~ How to add it~~

- Just extract the folder, then move it into "SpanQuiz\www" folder, and choose to replace the old folder when the choice is prompted. Or remove the old '\SpanQuiz\www\data' folder first, then move in the new one.

Wow, I agree with johny741, you really got into the details when creating the questions and making the game--thanks so much for sharing it with us! Not gonna lie, I ended up cheating quite a bit to get to the content rather than grinding through the answers but said content was great!


On a side note, would you mind sharing with me the name of the program you used to draw the characters/scenes/avatars? I've got a somewhat-developed game that I just can't seem to get off the ground due to my lack of skill/talent (and I haven't been able to let go of having some sort of artwork... yet...) so something that could potentially do a lot of that heavy lifting for me sure would be ideal!

I'm pretty sure that is Koikatsu Party that author is using. Quite the clever way if I'm being honest, great job!

It's a romance/sex-sim where you can create characters customizable in great detail and easy-to-use (at least for posing) studio editor.

Yes, like Bianka42 guessed, it’s KoiKatsu Party (with the HF patch that contains the CharaStudio); it’s somewhat limiting but therefore it’s very easy to get used to. Depending on how detailed you want the art of your game to be, this could be an easy solution, (it doesn’t have many implements for example, just some whip and a crop, and a hand mirror -- that can double as a hairbrush from the right angle!-- ... etc.) I hope this helps, and I look forward to see, and play, your game soon

WRT the game though, please do bear in mind that "soon" is extremely relative. While I have a good amount of the content I want in there fleshed out, I still have some serious gameplay issues that I need to test and otherwise iron out like how I want to handle soreness and healing, which is another one of those areas that I can't seem to be satisfied with.


Anyway, enough of that, the important thing is that you put a ton of work into this game, novelist, and it really shows. Thanks again for giving us something cool to play!
