Octavian woke.

Scrambling, he sat up in the hospital bed, looking around. Spotting a mirror, the face he saw looking back at him was almost unfamiliar. But, reaching up to touch his face, he knew it was his. The ritual was successful, then.

Octavian honestly didn’t know how, but he had somehow survived being sent flying during the Second Giantee War. He had been taken prisoner by order of the Praetors, and brought back to New Rome, where a full investigation into his involvement with the Earth Mother and the war had taken place.

In the end, it was concluded that his own ambitions, along with subtle manipulations (but not ever willing, conscious support on his part) by Terra was the cause of the near-disaster of a war.

The courts had ruled that a new popular punishment for rehabilitation was to be his sentence. A ritual dedicated to Lady Juventas had lowered his age back to ten. He would undergo this ritual again on the day he would have become 13 again seven more times (7x10-12). During his time as a child, he would be under the wardenship of Praetor Reyna Avila Ramírez-Arellano.

She would essentially raise him as an older sister figure. Remembering their attitudes toward each other, the former auger gulped. Speaking of her…

Reyna was sure she knew why she had volunteered to raise Octavian. Sure he may have annoyed and even outright antagonized her at times but there was still a person in there who could be a better person if he had the chance.

He needed a second chance at something better than what he got, so when they asked for a caretaker she had been the first to volunteer. Walking into the hospital, which was not as full as it once had been, she soon spotted a child with blonde hair and pale skin.

He looks kinda adorable, Reyna thought to herself as she took in the sight of the boy.

"Hello Octavian, how are you?' she asked the young boy as she approached him.

Octavian’s head whipped over to Reyna when she began addressing him. She looked kinda intimidating in her armor, and she looked so strong… Octavian honestly couldn’t tell how much of his old self had made it past the ritual, and how much of him was fully child.

“I’m-” he began, only to cut himself off, surprised at how high his voice was again. Gods, this was going to take some getting used to. So, clearing his throat, he tried again. “I-I guess I’m okay, Praetor Reyna. Um, how are… you?” He asked awkwardly.

Only then did he realize he was wearing naught but a hospital gown. A backless hospital gown. Also, all the mass he lost from being a teenager didn’t just magically dissapear. It was converted into body fat, in-between the small of his back and his thighs. Leaving the boy with an unusually large, round, plump, and above all else, sensitive backside.

Reyna smiled at the child, hoping that it would reassure him that she meant well. Soon she stood closer to him and knelt down to take to him. She noticed his plump backside that she knew she would have to spank if he ever step out of line, but she would keep that part to herself until she had to do it.

"That's good Octavian, why don't I get you dressed so I can take you back home with me," she told him as she held out some clothes she got from the bag she brought with her. A plain t-shirt and some shorts that reached his knees.

He watched her worriedly, slowly relaxing as she seemed genuinely be acting kind, for some odd reason. Kids tend to be good judges of character, and he wasn’t getting any really bad feelings from her. But when she offered him cloths, he blushed. “Um, I-I can dress myself, Reyna. How about you just turn around instead,” he requested as he reached for the bag.

"No, no, Octavian. I will be the one to undress you," she replied as she pushed his hands down. Rummaging through the bag she brought out the clothes and then turned to Octavian, "Okay, I want you to undress from the hospital gown."

“Reyna, NO! I really can dress myself, quit being wired!” Octavian yelled at her with a blush, not ready to submit to her like that, yet. He reached over and roughly grabbed the cloths, trying to pull them away from Reyna.

The young legacy would soon learn that raising his voice, and snatching things from his new big sister would NOT be tolerated.

"Oh no, you don't get to just throw a tantrum anytime something doesn't go your way Octavian," Reyna scolded him when he reached out and tried grabbing the clothes from her.

"In fact, I think it's time for your first spanking young man," she said as she sat on the hospital bed and pulled him over her knee.

Octavian was about to continue his tantrum, but then Reyna said ‘spanking.’ Octavian immediately froze up, looking up at her like she was speaking Chinese. “Wh-what?”

Reyna grabbed him, sitting on the edge of the bed and quickly pulling him over her lap! His face took a scarlet hew as he looked back and up at her, backless over her lap, and his bare bottom up and ready for punishment! “R-Reyna, stop! No, you can’t do this!”

"Oh yes I can young man," she replied before reaching into her bag and bringing out the hairbrush. She rested one of her hands on the small of his back and rested the hairbrush on his bottom. Giving him a couple of taps, she raised it up and brought it down on his bottom with a swift SMACK.
