It was the end of the final race for V as he and Claire wears driving in her truck almost to the finish line but Claire was mad because he didn’t choose to follow Peter Sampson to kill him out of revenge.

C:"Seriously? You're just gonna let him get away with it all?!" Claire is looking out the window towards Sampson's car, who made it out in one piece.
"Great. Truly amazing, V." She gets out of the truck and sits down on the sidewalk, pouting.

“I said I help you race not to get revenge.said V as he got out of the truck to talk with Claire.

C:"I mean yeah, you sure did. Woohoo, absolutely feelin' like a winner now." She sighs
"But killing Sampson wouldn't have been anything out of the ordinary to you, V! After all, you're also a merc. I coulda paid you extra or somethin' to do it."

“I maybe a merc but I have a line I just don’t cross.said V in anger as he look at her with a mad tone.

C: Claire looked up at him in anger. "And that line is? Eating or spewing lead certainly isn't. Like, no one would've cared that he's out of the race! Do you really care about the measely race reward that much?"

Claire gets up from the sidewalk and walks towards Beast, running her hand over the abused vehicle's engine hood.
