Ashiba Dorai was currently heading back to his apartment home. The boy, unfortunately, lost both his parents in a car crash. The boy had managed to survive but was left alone. During the one year he was at the orphanage he was lucky to win a scholarship to leave the orphanage and stay in the tops residential district in New Domino City. He even met some friends his age in a pair of twins, Leo and Luna, the latter a cute girl with who Ashiba had a secret crush, but still, he couldn't help but feel lonely from time to time. Entering his home which was a bit of a mess Ashiba placed his bag down by the door and was about to head towards his room when he notices his mother's deck box sitting on the kitchen counter. "Mom's deck." He commented looking at it. While he never competed in a duel himself he knew all the rules from Leo and being around his mother. He can still remember the spellcasters she would summon to help her win. Curious Ashiba approached the deck and to see if it was the same as he remember, reaching out he touches the deck box, and then a bright light engulfed the roof.

As soon as his fingers touched the deck, a magic circle appeared on the top card and light shot out of it. When it cleared, the Dark Magician Girl with her staff in hand appeared before him with a smile and a pose. “Hey! Long time no see! Now that you’re older I hope you can see me now!” She said as she floated to eye level with him before curling her nose. “It smells like boy in here, when was the last time you cleaned up this place?” She asked, covering her nose slightly

Ashiba was completely stunned as one of his mother's signature monsters was now appearing in front of his eyes. The blonde-haired beauty, Dark Magician Girl. He didn't even hear the complaint she made about the cleanliness of his apartment. "Y-you-you're the Dark Magician Girl." He stammered still in shock seeing one of the most beautiful duel monsters in front of him. "But why are you here?" He questioned still not processing what she said.

Ashiba now hearing the question that she was asking him started to get uneasy about giving her an answer. "Probably one or two.........months ago." He sheepishly answered the spirit sternly looking at him while he looks . Honestly, after moving in within a few months the boy's depression got worse and he just stopped caring about cleaning up.

Ashiba winced in pain once Dark Magician Girl grab them by the ear mentioning she will be the one to teach him responsibility. With that she then begins to lead him to the couch still holding him by the ear all while Ashiba was wondering what she planned to do to him. He was indeed ashame how he let the condition of his apartment deteriorate with time however he was too afraid of what the blown spirits glad to do for punishment.
