[Private] Darkwing Duck: Life in the Negaverse

Gosalyn kicked her little legs as she hung upside down from her bed, holding a book. She wasn't reading it. She loved the book - she had read it over ten times by this point - but it just couldn't keep her attention.

She was bored, and she was lonely. Two months ago, she had been taken in by the Overlord of the universe: Negaduck. Except she didn't call him that anymore. One day, the word 'Dad' had slipped from Gosalyn's mouth, and she fervently apologised, but he had just mumbled she could call him whatever she wanted to call him. Which, Gosalyn thought, was her dad's way of saying how happy it made him. Maybe.

Right now, Gosalyn had no idea where her dad was - or Launchpad, for that matter. Gosalyn didn't know how to feel about Launchpad. He seemed annoyed by her presence, even more than Dad sometimes did, and he'd threatened to smack her a few times. A glare from her dad usually put a stop to that.

Gosalyn stared at her closed door for five seconds before she groaned and slipped gently to the floor before rising to her feet. She couldn't stay in her room a second longer. She opened her door and peered into the hallway. Nothing. There was no sound of movement. She moved wholly into the hallway, shutting her door.

Her eyes landed on her dad's bedroom. She had been sternly warned never to go in there. But it didn't seem like her dad was here to catch her. As long as she listened out for him, it would be fine.

Probably.

She hurried to his door before she could change his mind and slowly opened it.

"Whoa...." A collection of weapons stared back at her, with a single bed pushed into the corner. "Keen gear!" She closed the door behind her and ran over to the pile of weapons. She never knew her dad had so many.

Negetcuk was returning home at the moment.

Gosalyn's green eyes darted all over the weapons. She knew she shouldn't want to. She knew other little girls would be terrified - but Gosalyn wasn't like other little girls. She had grown up with her grandfather, who, every time she saw him, would have a weapon in his hand. Over time, Gosalyn grew used to them.

Smiling, Gosalyn got to her feet and looked around the room. There were books strewn about. Gosalyn shook her head. Her dad was so untidy. She began to pick them up.

Negaduck entered his home and started to go upstairs.

(Since we are also doing the other Darkwing rp, not sure if I can think of many ideas for this one. I will still do it as part of our deal but it may be a short rp)

Gosalyn was just standing on her tiptoes to put the books away when she heard footsteps coming up the stairs. Panic immediately rushed through her veins. She turned to run, and immediately, she crashed into the weapons pile. She fell through the pile and hit her knee on something hard. The little girl collapsed to the floor on her back and began to cry as pain coursed through her body.

Negaduck rushed into the room. "What happened?" he asked, in a mix of anger and concern.

Gosalyn couldn't think about being panicked as her dad rushed into the room. She could only feel relief that he was here. "My knee," the little girl cried, "I hurt my knee, and I fell over..."

"Why were you in here, in the first place?" Negaduck asked.

Gosalyn sniffled and avoided his eyes. "... 'Cause I was bored..." She slowly admitted. "An-and I realised you we-weren't here. And I remembered you said not to come in here. So I came in 'ca-cause I thought you wouldn't find out..."

"Well, you know what that means, don't you?"Negaduck asked, sternly.
