It was a typical night in Pallet Town unlike any other. Everyone in town should be fast asleep as it was approaching midnight. Well, almost everyone. In a bedroom belonging to the Ketchum residence, the sound of loud talking and laughing filled the house. Alex was sitting on the floor belonging to his best friend. He had short black hair, a bit shorter then Ash and dressed in a blue tank top and red plaid pajama pants. “Hey, we should make this a night to remember.” Alex said with a smile that showed his evil intentions

Ash was in his room with his friend, wearing his pajama: a pair of blue pants and a white shirt.

The boy was sitting on the bed too, next to Alex, and as the other boy spoke he made a smile too.

"What do you have in mind?" he asked "I know that smile all too well, pal. What prank have you thought up this time?"

“Well…” Alex started as he went through his bag and pulled out a bottle of shaving cream and a feather. “I know your mom should be asleep by now. I hope she’s ticklish.” He said with an evil smirk as he left the bag in the middle of the room, showing there was even more stuff in there

Ash giggled at his friend's idea and nodded vigorously.

"Oh, she is." he said "This will be a great prank."

After saying that, however, the boy felt curious about Alex bag and decided to take a look to see what was inside it.

“She’s not going to know what hit her! I’ll let you fill her hand while I do the hard part.” Alex suggested as he placed the fan on the floor by Ash’s feet. In the bag was a bag of balloons, a camera and some other supplies. “Let me know when you’re ready!”

Ash nodded and took the bottle cream.

"Ok, let's go."

With that, the two boys left Ash's room and on tiptoed toward Delia's one. Very carefully they opened up the door and without making a sound they reached her bed. Ash's mother was sleeping peacefully, covered by her blanket.

Ash made a gesture toward Alex, in a silent question: "Ready?"

Alex nodded as he followed Ash into his mom’s room. Stifling an excited giggle, he prepared himself for the opportunity of a lifetime. Since her hand was not exposed, he helped Ash peel the blanket off to expose her hand while staying close to her face for his job

Once the blanket had been removed enough to show Delia's hand, Ash checked she was still asleep. Since she was, the boy blinked at his friend and very carefully he placed the cream in her hand. Once he had finished, he made a sign to Alex and prepared to flee.

Once it was ready, Alex immediately began to use the magic of his feather. Gently, he used it to tickle her nose. If it goes to plan, she should have a face full of shaving cream. He waited for the hand to move and then he would book it out of the room

Delia didn't woke up, but the tickle at her nose made her react. She wriggled it for a bit, then in a automatic response from her body she moved her hand toward it. In that exact moment, Ash moved as fast as he could without making noises toward the door, to leave the room.
