20 year old Lara Cunningham was working in her garden, humming to herself. A few years ago her grandmother died and left her not only a small fortune but also a cottage near the woods with the only condition that she was gonna live there. Lara was a pretty, young woman. She had chestnut colored her that reached her shoulders and beautifull green eyes that looked into the world with joy, and kindness.

Lara had three hobbies. Gardening, cooking and playing with her grandmothers cat that came with the cottage. She didn't only grew flowers she also had a kitchen garden and a garden with all kinds of herbs, some for cooking and some that could cure mild illness.

That day she was very happy so her humming changed into singing. "Each day when the sun rises, I hurry from my sleep. I can wait to greet you with my song. You are every kind of flower, every animal I meet, nature full of grace and maj..." Then her singing stopped. Her can, who was doing 'cat things' next to her began to hiss suddenly.

"What has gotten into you, Star?" She asked her. "My singing isn't that bad, is it?" She tried to pet the cat by she clawed at her and ran into the house. Suddenly Lara wasn't at ease in her garden anymore, she felt like she was watched.

Kana was a rather small, silver haired harpy. Her body was mostly normal but she had legs that were half bird, reaching up to her thighs, and wings sprouting from her back. Her hands were claws, but overall she looked like a normal girl of fourteen. Her skin was tanned and she had bright blue eyes, as well as silver hair which was kept short.

She was a creature known as a harpy, a bird like humanoid which was thought to be extinct. Currently the girl was flying around looking for love after having left her nest for the first time. When she had heard Lara’s singing she had become enchanted and had flown down to see who’s lovely voice that was, only to see the prettiest human she had ever laid eyes upon. The girl watched her for a bit and would’ve greeted her if it weren’t for the cat she had. When the cat finally fled she landed in front of Lara, greeting her with a smile.

“Hello Miss, can I marry you?” she asked politely.

With a startled scream Lara jumped back grabbing a broom and held it in front of her the bushy end pointing at the creature (Old fashioned broom like witches had). "Who....what are you?"
