Want to get rid of the annoying adverts? The answer is simple. There are 4 levels of advertising on AnimeOTK:
Level 1: (Your Level, guests and members with 0-9 posts) has maximum advertising. Level 2: (A user with 10 or more posts who has been a member over two weeks) have vastly reduced advertising (including removal of the large full screen closable adverts) Level 3: (A member who has been registered over a month and has over 50 posts, or has a special account like "artist" or "writer" sees minimal advertising. Level 4: (VIP Donators) receive no advertising.
All donators of $10 or more will never see an advert on our site again!

BACKGROUND
Hey everybody!
You may know me as the guy who makes spanking-themed TEXT ADVENTURES, the biggest of which is Welcome to Puttsdale. At this point, WTP has over 200,000 words -- it had so many paths that it was becoming impossible to add to, just because it would take so long to playtest it!! I also started writing it back when I knew almost nothing about Twine, so a lot of the gameplay code was very wonky.
So, a little while ago, I decided to re-release the game one week at a time. As I do so, I'll be fixing all of that wonky code AND adding new routes so everyone can find all spanking/other fun scenes. I'm trying to make it so that the events aren't so "time-dependent," which means that if you forget to go to find Esther being spanked late-at-night by dommy-mommy Evelyn on DAY 1, it's okay because you can go back and find it on DAY 2
That's why I'm publishing this thread.
WHY A NEW THREAD?
I've been working on it for a while, but as I said: the game is hard to playtest!! So I'd love your help. I also want to share the game with you, because I think it's really fun and I hope you do too
In this thread:

And most of all, just enjoy the game! That, to me, is the main reason I do this!! If you've played Welcome to Puttsdale before, you'll recognize a lot of it, but there are a few additions I think people will like

It's been a while, but I've got to ask. How much did you have already done that would be weeks 2 and on. Cause I only remember special scenes or events happening up to day 9ish. Which would be like half of week 2.

Ok, first an error I noticed:
If the professor lady (whose name I always forget) says you are submissive and you get the option to follow her, if you choose it, the game just stops. Like that path wasn't completed.
Also, could you please please please tell me how to get to Julia Acrostics freaking hotel? It's been probably two years that I've played this game and even after she invites me and I have super tolerance and super submissiveness (Elaine spanks me) the bus stop never no matter what time of day or night (I sometimes wait until the bakery closes and I've tried for 6 hours straight after 9pm even) has a bus come and pick me up.
Maybe I need a buspass or something but where would I get that?
Edited to add: I just looked at my stats. And I've been given phantom spankings. See it says i was spanked 8 times. That I can believe though I didn't keep count. But I was playing a strict submissive playthrough. So I never spanked anyone. BUT it says I gave five spankings. I'm wondering to who...ghosts?

I have probably 3 weeks worth of content complete. Some of that is stuff you COULD access earlier if you focused on it, like being able to spank Wren Glacey for having a messy room. But a lot of it -- like the Night Watch, the Prom scenes, Truth or Dare, and PHS Graduation -- don't happen until later.
BUT this is only Week 1. It ends at Day 8 FOR NOW.

The option to follow Philia Reese (lab lady) and become a test subject stops because that path ISN'T complete yet and I DID NOT realize you could actually get that far. I'd planned to have that lab content show up in Week 2. This is why I need people to help me playtest, thank you SO MUCH!

Glad the great saga returned in a "remastered" version! Great to see you back!
I'm gonna leave my impression under the spoiiler tags, since I got some good new little things I don't want to spoil
1- First, here my "score". As you can see, there are some little bugs like:
- I got this after choosing to wander around until late and was "forced" to go to bed. I didn't get the "rent" scene this playthrough (I got it in a previous one with this same game version) and as you can see I get the usual "wake up" phrases at the top of the page
- the "phatom spankings" here, as you can see from the indicator I spanked 0 people. Also I believe that the "times spanked" is wrong, I believe I got a bit more than 15 but I admit, I didn't keep count. Surely more than 8.
2- I find interesting that after I while I got the message "you are spanked so much you are a pro (+2 tolerance). Half town have seen me spanked (-2 Authority)". It really help speed up the tolerance! Some suggestion
- add some scenes/recurring scenes when the authority is less then -10, so it's not just a wall for some scenes but also a way to get new interactions
- add some cool event/change of behavior when I get that message. If half the town have seen me spanked, let's see this. Snarky comments, more scenes, getting undeserved spankings... maybe an article about the new brat in town? Maybe getting to "know" Leah without spanking Kid (I forgot the name of her favourite target)?
3- the Dievs spanking business show "5$" the first time I get there (when there is the police officer model spanked), "25$" the other times. Hope to see some content with that soon
4- talking about officers, I like that you changed the middle school with the police station, hope to see some events there!
5- I like that if we don't find a bed, we sleep on a bench and we get spanked the next time, with even some comments if she finds out the third time. Hope to see the officer more
6- The library books now just works once, interesting change. I like it since it's a bit more realistic and avoid grinding, too bad I was used to "take book, read, get spanked, repeat" to grind some cool stats at the same time. Suggestions:
- Add some more scenes with Libby Martine, the librarian, if you ask for a spanking she just says "take a book and don't chek it out". Well, yes but..
7- when I accepted to do more chores for the lazy boy, I got some twine errors. Nothing game-breaking
8- when I tried to return to the jorunalist Motel after the first nigh, I expect to get the other scenes I didn't choose the first time but I only got "she wink at you", then I got teleported to the Bakery(playing as a sub thw whole game)
9. About the journalist, she mentions the bus not the area where you find the motel...
10: I didn't get the chance to take photos, even if i got the camera from Wren (can't really confirm this, maybe I got distracted
11. I didn't get the scene with Chiza after watching her naked spanking, also the day after nothing changed their dialogues
12.I really liked the "I didn't have money for the rent" option, I'll probably never pay rent then.
13. If I failed the first interaction with the fast food girl, I could not continue her story
There is a lot more among suggestions, bugs and ideas but I'll stop here for now
I don't know if you sped up the time but even in only "a week" there are so many scenes and new things to llook for, this "remastered edition" seems promising! Keep adding things and thank you!

I like that you put your comments in spoiler tags, so I'll do the same with my responses:
1. Okay, so I figured out what was going on with the phantom spankings LOL -- I had marked the variables as strings instead of arrays, so it was just COUNTING THE LETTERS in the words "received" and "given" ...I've fixed it, but man, I feel like a doofus for that.
2. I completely agree -- eventually, I want to add in more "snarky commentary" and scenes for people who go really far down certain paths -- it's coming soon!
3. Fixed -- I'm thinking $5 is fair

5. I loved writing the scenes with Lily and definitely plan on writing more.
6. In Week 2, you'll be able to get closer to Libby. I'd been meaning to change the book stats for a while so it wasn't so "grindy."

8. I believe I have fixed this, but definitely need to check it again.
9. Yeah, that was my bad. I fixed it for the "dominant" route but the "submissive" route still told you to go to the bus from when that was how I'd planned it. REALLY SORRY!
10. Not all of the reaction scenes have the camera yet -- I'm planning on doing more work with this
11. Did you go to Chiza's house the next day, or back to school? If you go back to her house you should see her trying to "cool off...." Maybe try going after 3pm?

13. If you fail the first interaction with Alex, it becomes more difficult, but you can still trigger her story. You'll need CHARISMA over 10 -- then she invites you to her house. The idea is that you shouldn't try the pick up line until you've mastered your delivery

Thanks for the info. Was FINALLY able to get the Julia scene, though you only get one (she winks at you forever after) and I have only done one of the three so far. And yeah, she just mentions the bus and the other side of town and all my efforts over the years (looking places/people to get a bus pass, checking out the "Perkins Lab road", waiting various times day or night at the bus stop, sometimes for five or 6 hours at a time) were always for naught, so its great to finally get that scene. You eve get some nookie out of it, at least if you choose the first choice.

I tried taking the books and yes, the lady at the bookstore was able to buy them ONE of the times. I don't know why or how but the other playthrough I did , also as submissive, it said I got the books but the bookstore lady's dialogue options didn't change like I didn't have it. I even managed to repeat the Graces visit twice in the same day and took a book again and STILL the same thing. So there are apparently paths that somehow don't register when you get the book, and apparently paths that do. So you can sell it. Which makes for a confusing issue. Hope this helps.
