Angel Adoption,

Hi my name is Tony Smith and this morning I am on my way to the children's home to pick up and adopt a little angel,

I have no information about her the phone call just said go to the home, where they are,

Expecting you, they know that you are coming and they will have the little angel waiting for you,

They told Tony they could not give him much information about his new little girl,

Only that she will be there waiting for him to arrive, so tony is now on his way,

After doing his shift as a Police Man, so he is a bit nervous at meeting his new little Daughter,

Olivia was a fairly small little girl, a blonde haired, blue eyed eight-year-old whose eyes shone with a happy glow. After her parents had been arrested, she'd been tossed into an orphanage without a second thought, but it never broke her spirit.

Finally, though, after nearly a year, she was being adopted! The orphanage said they'd found a home for her and that she would be going home that very same day. Olivia brushed her hair until it shone, straightened the little red headband on her head, and came out to meet her new father in a little blue dress that flared out slightly at the waist, the length reaching to below her knees.

"This is your new father, Olivia," The woman said, leading her to a man in a police uniform. To Olivia, policemen meant safety - after all, it was the police that had gotten her out of her abusive home in the first place. It was an almost instant sense of trust for the girl.

"Daaddyy~" She called, running to him and hugging his leg. "Hi!"

Tony as he walked in was met by a little girl shouting Daddy and hugging his legs nearly knocking him over,

Hello he says looking down at you, my are you small and how old is my little girl then he says to you,

Tony says Matron hello nice to meet you shaking her hand, tony said to the Matron have I got to sign,

Any papers for Olivia oh yes please can you come this way, so he hold out is hand for you to go with him,

He takes you into the Matrons office sits down on a chair to sign the papers, then he looks at you,

Ruffles your hair then he says we will not be long little one, let me just sign this,,

"I'm eight!" The blonde cheerfully replied, holding up eight fingers. When the matron beckoned them and Tony offered his hand, she placed her small hand in his and walked along beside him.

Smiling widely, she nodded and sat still where she was told, idly bouncing her feet on the floor and softly humming to herself as she waited for her new father to sign the papers. Olivia wondered what her new home would be like. Would it be big and fancy, like a mansion? Or maybe a cozy little cottage! It could be a little townhouse, too, she supposed, where she could look out the window at the cars driving by...

It felt like forever that she'd been alone, and now, everything felt like a dream. She was so excited!

Tony signed all the papers that Matron put in front of him, any thing else I need to know he said being a Police Man he wanted to know all about Olivia,

Matron says it is all in this handing tony a book, Oh wow he says holding the book, I must have a very popular little girl,

Looking at you as he sits there, alright he says standing up and shaking the Matrons hand,

He turns to you and he says have you got your case packed, his it upstairs or down little one,

He turns to go through the door holding his hand out again to you , he wants to pick you up in his arms,

But he is not to sure that it is to early to give you a hug and cuddle, so he looks down at you,

And he says have we got to go up to your room to get your Case, Matron stayed in her office now,

The book detailed Olivia's past. She was born into an abusive home under the name Olivia Haywood, where her parents would lock her in her room and hit her frequently for no reason. Her grades, despite this, had always been nearly flawless - All A's and the occasional high B grade in subjects she had a bit of trouble with. Her teachers had nothing but praise for her, leaving comments on her report card that she got along well with the other children and would often tend to them if they ended up hurt for any reason. The orphanage staff had similar things to say, such as how she was a tidy child who always cleaned up after herself and was always grateful for anything put in front of her. Her behavioral record was spotless.

"Nope! My case is here~" She chirped, bouncing over to the desk and picking up a small case. She didn't have many things, so one case held everything. After lifting it, she moved back to Tony's side and once again took his hand, eagerly looking up at him as she waited to go home.

Tony says looking down at you right if you are ready we will go, then he says do you need to go to the bath room before we leave little one,

If so would you like me to hold you little case, He says I can see that I am going to have to buy you some new clothes,

Just then Matron comes out oh I forgot Mr Smith there was a check left here for you,

And she handed tony the paper, so now we can make our way, once little one makes her mind up if she needs to go,

So Tony standing there waiting for Matron to tell him that he was alright to take his little girl,

The little blond shook her head. "Nope, I'm fine!" The matron then dismissed them, but not before crouching beside Olivia and giving her a hug in farewell. The eight-year-old happily returned it and gave the woman a peck on the cheek before the two released one another.

She looked up at Tony again with an inquisitive look, waiting for him to tell her if it was time to leave yet.

Tony after you give the Matron a hug, said right turning to you holding his arms out for you to let him pick you up,

Matron pats Tony on the back Tony turns and giggles bye Matron I will take good care of her not to worry,

So tony still holding your little case says to you looking down at you are you ready to go,

She reached up and allowed herself to be lifted, smiling. "Yes, I'm ready!" It was time for real now, she'd get to go home! As she was carried out, she waved to the staff of the orphanage, and once she was set down outside the car she climbed in the back seat and buckled herself up.
