Bella was walking around forks, School hadn't started yet, but she liked getting there early to be able to hang out outside first. Edward, a guy she liked, and always stared at, always was looking at her too, they were friends now, and alot of things have happened, it was the beggining of the next year, so I guess you could say her and Edward have been friends for a year now, I sat outside on a bench infront of the lunchroom, waiting for it to be school time.

Edward Cullen walked along the sidewalks of Forks towards school, his hands in his pockets picking up the conversations of people around him as he gave his crooked smile to the people who walked by. He quietly walked towards a bench and saw Bella on his way in. "Hello Bella, are you ready for today?" He asked as he sat down on the bench next to her but gave them a slight distance.

Bella looked over at Edward as he sat down next to her and said hello and asked if she was ready for today. She sighed. "Not really, I'm afraid I'll be this years cluts again" She said smileing again, She rememberd the times she tripped last year. On the way to her seat in Biology is the one she always rememberd first. "Plus I'm still not ust to Forks, Or you being a freaky vampire" I said kidding around about the freaky vampire, I hoped it wouldn't hurt his feelings.

Edward put his slender finger over her lips in the center as he leaned over quickly. "Don't go saying that out loud Bella, we don't need the whole town believing that rumor." He whispered breaking his calm appearance for a moment.

Bella knodded. "Sorry" She muttered through his cold finger touching her lips. "Why would they even belive that?" She asked grinning slightly. "Why anyway? I mean, are you afraid people will belive it and vampire hunters will coem try and destroy you?"

Edward removed his finger from her lips and sat watching her through his golden eyes that seemed to pierce her body. "Well for the record, you believed that story about my family's dark secret and then you became Nancy Drew until you found out the truth about me and my clan." He replied shaking his head his anger slightly rising at her joking manner.

Edward looked over at with his golden eyes slightly angry at her. "Bella, don't insult my life." He said as he stared into her eyes and spoke with his usual charming tone. Something had clicked in his head as he looked at her with surprise.
