The vampire Orphan (for Lady-Shiroi)
Bonnie woke up early in the evening. She looked around, rubbing her red eyes a bit. Everything was silent. Carefully she stood up and streched a bit. She began to made herself ready. She was a cute girl of 14 years, with big red eyes and black hair. There was just something special about her: She was a vampire. She was an orphan since some days ago. Now she was living in a castle and she really liked it. The little girl sneaked out of her room and into the kitchen. She began to search for some sweets.

"Bonnie, I belive I have made myself clear, when I said the kitchen is out of limits for you" said a stern voice, right from behind the girl. Said voice belonged to the master of the castle, Lord Aldaren Talbehron.
Lord Aldaren was a vampire himself, an ancient one through he had no trouble following the time. In fact he was kind of fond how the people, and culture changed over the years. He didn't get borred that way, and didn't have to worry for any hunters. He knew there were people beliving in the existance of his kind, but they were by no means a threat to him. Humans had lost the knowledge how to hunt vamires, replacing it with some fairy tales. Through, even if they knew how to kill him, they'd still need to find him. That was his last worry in those times. A castle like his, the place of his childhood and his curent existance was big, but it was hidden from curious human eyes. There was no way any living being could enter, especialy not without his permission.
And speaking of permission, the vampire had to deal with one that seamed to ignore the fact that she didn't have it. She was his newest possesion, and while she wasn't all that new to the place, same for the rules she seamed to think she knew better.
"Care to explain what you're doing here?" he asked, his green eyes borring into her.

Bonnie turned around as she heard Aldaren's Voice. He was the master of this castle and the one who found her some days ago. The girl didn't know much about him, but she knew that he could be very strict with his rules. "Care to explain what you're doing here?" he asked, his green eyes borring into her. Bonnie did a few steps back. She looked at him and said: "I...I wasn't to eat something..." She looked at the floor und pressed herself against the kitchenette.

Aldaren wasn't stupid, he knew the girl was laing to him. Still, he would let her, and see just how much trouble she will get herself into. They barely knew each other, or actualy she was unfortunate on the matter as he knew everything he needed about her by now. That was the advantage of age and power, she didn't have. However, she was about to learn, or at least experience that laing won't work with the man. Not now, and not ever.
"Then why didn't you come to me?" he asked, his expresion softening a bit. The girl should know she was in trouble by now, she wasn't that stupid. They knew each other only by days, but eating breakfast together was something that happened every day. He didn't need to explain that to her anymore.

Bonnie looked up to him. In the first seconds, she didn't know what to say. She knew she has to explain it. She thought about to say the truth but thought that would make it worse for now. So she decided to lie again: "B-Because I thought you are still sleeping...And I didn't want to wake you up...It isn't that late...", answered Bonnie with a sheepish smile.
She knew she was in trouble now, but she didn't knew how deep. So she tried to test Aldaren a bit.

"Yes, in fact it is very early" Aldaren said with a smile "Thus why I was suprised to see you up. Wish you'd be so quick every day" he was pleased to see the girl getting nervous. He had hoped that the girl wouldn't think that if he were for some reason asleep, it would excuse her breaking the rules. He knew most people thought that if they weren't seen they were excused, but that was far from truth. He had catched her red handed, but even if he didn't she knew the rules by now. Aldaren didn't like being disobeyed, no matter what.

Bonnie saw the smile, but his voice was telling something else. She looked at the floor again. "I'll try to stay up earlier if you wish...", she said, trying to excuse her misstep in this way. She knew it wouldn't help, but she thought a try could maybe help. She pressed herself again on the kitchenette. There was a good resaon why she did this earlier too: She had a cookie in one of her hands and was about to eat it as he stepped in, so she just could hide it for now."Why can't he sleep on this time like I do usually?", she thought desperately. She wasn't sure how long she would be able to play this little game before she would break down because of her bad conscience.

"That's not the point here young lady" he said, the smile disapearing. "The point is, you went into a place you are not allowed to, and now are trying to lie your way out of it" his voice became stern again
"Not to mention, you are forbidden sweets" he said reaching behind her and taking the cookie "through even if you were allowed, I'd be crossed that you're eating them first thing in the morning"

Bonnie was suprised as his smile disappeared, though she knew that it wasn't a good one.
As Aldaren scold her for lying she closed her eyes. She doesn't wanted to look him into the eyes at the moment.
After he took the cookie, she opened her eyes again and looked down at the floor as before. "I'm sorry sir...", she whispered shy and blushed a bit.

"Are you sorry for what you did, or for being caught?" Aldaren asked knowingly "Well, you certainly are going to be. Go to your room and wait there for me" he ordered pointing at the door. He had some things to attend to first, before he could deal with her, not that she knew that. She was a baby as a vampire, and not that long living here so she still had lots to learn. Obeying orders was a priority, before anything else. He'd make sure to leave a lasting impresion once he gets to that.
