I've bothered Tim, I've bothered Exo, I've complained to the masses.

I still can't get into AOTK Chat.

My college has a firewall which prevents normal access to the chat, so I use Http-Tunnel. It recently stopped connecting to the server. I uninstalled it, downloaded it again, same problem. Uninstalled it, installed the newest beta, found it wasn't helping much because I couldn't actually get the beta to work. Continued to do this ad nauseum for a while. Still can't get in.

Any ideas? Anything definitively better than Http-tunnel? Anyone know how to apply the java (jhttp-tunnel) to http-tunnel to 'fix' it?

Wierd. Would a proxy work? I know theres a random group on facebook that offers new proxxies each week to defeat HS firewalls.
